Chapter 26: My father said he would leave and not look back
She was just busy looking for a hiding place, listening to the noise outside and weaving a hiding cage very quickly. She didn't notice that there was an orc hiding here at all!
Needless to say, this thing is most likely the third-level orc that the group of people outside are looking for.

This orc had porcelain-white skin, delicate and deep features, fluffy flaxen hair, and a pair of pure and cold brown eyes. He looked at her without any expression, as if she was a wall, completely unaware of how stunning she was.

Si Shuo blinked and felt strange. She was clearly looking at him, but her other senses could not detect his presence.

However, she did not sense any malice from him, and her heart was temporarily at ease.

The two of them squatted together, and she turned her head from time to time to look at the person next to her.

How on earth could he be right beside her yet she couldn't sense him?
Si Shuo thought about it, tried hard to adjust his breathing, and began to hypnotize himself: I am a grass, I am a flower, I am an inconspicuous tree doll!

After waiting for a long time, Si Shuo's legs were numb and he was about to fall asleep, and then the group of beasts went back cursing.

She let out a long, deep sigh of relief and opened the escape basket.

The male paused with his gaze on the few newly bloomed flowers above her head and stood up.

Si Shuo quickly stood up as well, glancing at the three orange animal patterns on his neck, feeling quite safe.

It’s good to have a low level, because she has a greater chance of escaping when the time comes. Before that, she follows this harmless orc to learn more about the situation and avoid some dangers.

The male was carrying a hide bag on his back and walking forward with his head down. When he passed by a small river more than three meters wide, he jumped over it with a light leap.

Si Shuo took off his shoes, stepped into the cold river water with a hissing sound, and ran on the stones to chase him.

He didn't walk very fast, but her legs were long, and one step of his was three steps faster than hers.

After persisting for more than ten minutes, Si Shuo was exhausted and out of breath. "Brother, where are you going? What kind of orc are you?"

She didn't dare ask him why he didn't transform. Wouldn't it be more convenient to travel in the forest in animal form?

But when he was in human form, she couldn't catch up with him. After he transformed, she couldn't be stupid enough to take out the crystal and hire him to carry her, right?
She would never do anything that would lead to murder and robbery.

The male paused and turned around, his voice just like his own, as clear as the sound of flowing water in a mountain stream, "I'm not going anywhere. My father won't let me tell you."

Si Shuo tilted his head and pondered for two seconds before he realized that his two short sentences answered his two questions.

Where else to go? His father didn't let him tell others about his beast form?
Thinking of this, she asked openly.

"I have nowhere to go and I'm afraid of getting into trouble." He stood in the distance, looking at her seriously.

Si Shuo walked closer, put his hands on his hips and gasped for breath. Seeing her own embarrassment clearly reflected in his bright eyes, she immediately stopped screaming.

Her hide was scratched by branches, with a tuft of hair missing. Her hair was messy like a madman's, with a few weeds, dead leaves, and flowers on top. Her face was also smeared with several dirty handprints...

Si Shuo has never been so sloppy since he was a child.

Following his eyes, Si Shuo picked off the weeds and dead leaves on his head, and took out a water bottle and cotton cloth from the animal skin bag he had sorted out.

She wet the cotton cloth and wiped the dirt off her face, then wiped her hands clean. Then she combed her hair, looking a little cleaner.

The male suddenly raised his hand, placed it on top of her head, plucked a flower and threw it away.

Si Shuo's whole body stiffened, and when he came to his senses, he had the patience to stand still...

"What about you?" The male tilted his head slightly and asked, but there was still no emotion reflected in his eyes, just like a robot doing its job. Si Shuo pursed his lips, "I am a female from a nearby tribe. I got lost while gathering. Can you take me back?"

The male's eyes fell on her red ears, and he said lightly, "You lie!"

Si Shuo smiled and said, "I really want to go to the nearby tribe, but it's inconvenient for me to explain to you why I'm here."

The male looked at her twice, turned around and walked away without saying a word, but this time he did not walk forward, but changed direction, which was the direction of the tribe that Si Shuo saw in the air.

She pursed her lips and smiled softly as she followed. In fact, the people in the Beast World Continent are quite easy to understand. Many people's emotions and schemes are shown on their faces and actions, except for Ji Liang, who is a head of a traveling merchant and is not consistent in his appearance.

"My name is Si Shuo, what's your name? Can you walk slower? I can't keep up..." After she said that, a blush flashed across her face. She had learned bad things from Ji Liang, and was so good at pushing things too far!
She had been nervous for so long and suddenly she was able to relax, so she couldn't help but talk more.

"Shuchi," Suchi replied, slowing down his pace to match hers, even the same stride, the two of them were the same distance apart.

"Don't you have a destination?"

"Well, no."

"Why?" Si Shuo was very curious. Even if he was going to wander, he had to have a distant place he wanted to go.

Xu Chi's eyes flashed with a hint of confusion, "Father said to leave and not look back."

Si Shuo didn't sound like a good thing no matter how he heard it. Either he was kicked out, or something big happened at home and he had to escape.

"You can't tell me where you're from, right?"

"Ah."

"Then what can you say? Are you particularly good at hiding things?"

"Yes, the art of concealment is a secret art of the clan," Suchi nodded.

Since it is a concealment technique, it will naturally not be passed on to others. Si Shuo sighed slightly, but at least she could see some direction for effort from him.

For example, now, although he was walking in front of her, his presence was very low, so low that if she didn't think about it deliberately, she would easily forget his existence.

Just like the flowers, plants and trees that appeared beside her, she knew they were there, but she would not pay even a centimeter of her attention to them!
If she could learn a little from him and have her own escape basket, she could survive till the end of her life, for sure!
After all, the males in this world can transform, and their strength and level of suppression are not something she can catch up with just by working hard.

After walking for more than an hour, Si Shuo's strength reached its limit. "Xu Chi, I can't walk anymore. Can we stop and rest?"

Xu Chi nodded, walked to the river, sat on the bluestone, washed his hands, and scooped up a few handfuls of water to drink.

Si Shuo also washed his hands and face. It was already afternoon and the sun was a little slanted, but the scorching spring sun made people's faces slightly hot.

She pounded her arms and legs. Since she was born, she had never walked as much as she did today.

Xu Chi looked vaguely at the river. Suddenly he stood up, said, "I'm going hunting," and disappeared into the woods with a few jumps.

Si Shuo sat on the bluestone and raised his eyebrows. He exchanged a pack of kraft paper and eyebrow pencil from the supermarket, then lay on the bluestone and started painting.

Guess what kind of orc Xuchi is! If you guess correctly, a new chapter will be dropped! Each person can only guess one answer.
