Chapter 16 Author's Notes Review of Chapters -

Chapter 8: The Final Battle of the Preliminary Round

In this chapter, the protagonist's "tactics" are truly described. Within a certain period of time, the ability is fixed, but the use of reasonable and clever tactics can maximize the ability.

These are not specifically mentioned in the previous chapters, but this does not mean that the protagonist has no tactics, but rather that no tactics are needed to deal with those people mentioned above.

The title is "The last battle of the preliminary round", but this chapter actually describes two battles.

In the fifth round of the preliminary competition, the winner was the one who took the sword after the three-in-one competition.

In the sixth round of the preliminary round, which was the final battle of the preliminary round, Mu Zhengguang no longer used countdown and accelerated timing. The hourglass broke, and he put the broken glass pieces on the opponent's neck to force the opponent to admit defeat.

The character of the protagonist can be seen in the last game. I will not summarize what kind of character it is here, but we can rule out obviously irrational characters such as vindictiveness and repaying evil with kindness.

------------

Chapter 9: The Magical Effect of Existential Clearance

Li Guanghui is a villain, and he will not appear again. With this villain as a foil, Mu Zhengguang's fourth trick, existence elimination, is necessary.

In common situations, when communicating with people who can communicate normally, there is no need to use the presence clearing sound. When facing abnormal people and when communication is impossible, presence clearing is very necessary and powerful.

The article describes Li Guanghui's losses, which have nothing to do with material things, and compensating for the losses also has nothing to do with material things.

Li Guanghui suffered losses not because they were robbed, but because he "voluntarily" gave them up. Strictly speaking, Li Guanghui suffered heavy losses.

The pros and cons of Zhang Sutian will be written in the next chapter, so it is not a spoiler to summarize it in this chapter.

Zhang Sutian is not a villain, he still has a chance to change. Even if he cannot become a genuine positive character, he will not go too far down the villain path.

This chapter also describes two things in detail: one is the end of the last round of the preliminary competition, and the other is the seat change.

At the end of the first chapter, I wrote about the remoteness of the seats, which is just right for this chapter. For students, grades, seats, classmates, teachers, learning, and learning environment are all indispensable, and they have been mentioned to varying degrees in the previous chapters.

------------

Chapter 10: Two sides of the same coin

This chapter still has two things to do. One is the follow-up of changing seats, and the other is speaking on stage.

The first thing is what happened after the change of positions. Zhang Sutian is not completely negative. If he also started to curse, his ending would definitely be very terrible.

Lu Hao wanted to add insult to injury, but Mu Zhengguang stopped him. This was not repaying evil with kindness. After all, there was no conflict or conflict of interest between Zhang Sutian and Mu Zhengguang. It was Lu Hao who had a conflict of interest with Zhang Sutian.

Mu Zhengguang stopped the conflict not because he stood on Zhang Sutian's side, but because Zhang Sutian chose to stop before it was too late. If Zhang Sutian had not chosen this, then when Lu Hao took advantage of the situation, Mu Zhengguang would have certainly taken advantage of it as well.

Mu Zhengguang's attitude towards other people, which seems to interfere and yet does not interfere, seems to be tolerant and yet seems to be intolerant, gives people a sense of fickleness, but one thing remains unchanged, that is, he tries his best to push things in a good direction.

The second thing is to speak on stage. This thing is very brief, but it also shows the character's personality. Until this chapter, there is an accurate description of the appearance for the first time in the whole book. I wonder if it meets your imagination.

Similarly, it is not until this chapter that Xu Yingze's gender is clearly written, so the difference in school uniforms written in the first chapter is also meaningful. It is a foreshadowing, but it is not a foreshadowing that explains the facts. In this chapter, people suddenly realized that it was no wonder that the asymptotes of the two people were evenly matched and closely connected.

In the third chapter, it is written that Mu Zhengguang believes that Xu Yingze faces much greater resistance than he does when he visits other classes. Now let's analyze in detail why the resistance is much greater than his.

1. Boys go to other classes to look for girls and girls go to other classes to look for boys. The nature of these two things is the same, but the frequency of their occurrence in the crowd is different.

2. Xu Yingze's academic performance is better than Mu Zhengguang's. The biggest obstacle for good students to skip classes comes from themselves. It depends on whether they are willing to give up the halo of being a "good student".

------------

Chapter 11: Windmill Operation Xu Yingze

The relationship between the two protagonists, their way of getting along, their living environment and learning environment are described in more detail in this chapter. Mu Zhengguang used Existence to eliminate bad words, and Xu Ying helped him write an English test paper as a return gift. There will be more chapters focusing on the male and female protagonists in the future.

In the first chapter, it was mentioned that Xu Yingze wore a boy's school uniform jacket. In this chapter, it was mentioned again, and a series of stories were triggered. It was not until this chapter that the second detailed description of her appearance was given, which was about the heroine.

This chapter doesn't have much content and hardly advances the plot, but it's hard to summarize. There are too many details, and the language description, psychological description, and action description complement each other. If I were to separate the details and talk about them separately, it would be neither comprehensive nor easy to understand. If you are interested in this chapter, you can go back and read it. If you are not interested, you don't have to reread it. My summary here is enough for you to understand the chapter.

------------

Chapter 12: The Destined Winner

This chapter also has many details, but these details are easy to summarize. In short, it can be summed up in one sentence: by describing the protagonist's friends and the way the protagonist treats his friends, the protagonist's personality traits and direction in making friends are expressed.

As an aside, I don't know how you feel when reading these two chapters, but I personally feel happy and peaceful. For now, the protagonist does not bear hatred or pressure, nor does he set goals beyond his ability. He already has enough strength, so he should live a relaxed and happy life.

We all know that the protagonist cannot stop at the semi-finals. In this chapter, Mu Zhengguang also realized this. He had a new perspective on entering the finals. It was no longer about setting a "goal" as before, but about setting a "result".

This chapter describes the venue and competition arrangements for the semi-finals, as well as the number of participants from the entire city. These settings will be used later, but they will not necessarily appear as is, but will appear after modifications based on the original ones.

------------

Chapter 13: "The True Face of Everything Flows"

It’s back to the familiar “three things” structure.

The first thing is that the contestants have dinner together, and Xu Ying gives the last piece of sea bass to Mu Zhengguang. I won't summarize the specific details, the text is very clear, and the psychological dynamics of the two protagonists are fully expressed.

The second thing is the conversation between Mu Zhengguang and Lu Hao.

The conversation is divided into three topics: the first topic is competition, the second topic is dining, and the third topic is campus life.

Campus life is the focus because it involves Mu Zhengguang's view on love.

According to the description in the article, Mu Zhengguang's life experience and the author's own thoughts, this view of love can be called "admiration view". Note that the word used here is "admiration" instead of "love".

Perhaps when the time is right, I will include this explanation with more details and plot in the main text.

It is too early to write about admiration for Mu Zhengguang now. Don't be fooled by the ambiguous description in the article. In fact, the relationship between him and Xu Yingze should be more like that of brothers and sisters. Moreover, Xu Yingze may not necessarily play the role of a younger sister.

The third thing is that Mu Zhengguang went out for dinner, but Xu Ying didn't see him. This is a simple thing, and it only takes 200 words to write it.

------------

Chapter 14: "The Perfect Match"

Mu Zhengguang and Jiao Shenqi were arm wrestling outside the arena, but Xu Ying didn't care about the fairness of the game. She secretly helped, using running to clear the situation and speed up the battle, allowing Mu Zhengguang to win quickly.

From this chapter, we can see that Lu Hao is really good at kicking someone when they are down.

This chapter only spent less than 100 words to describe the operation of clearing. In terms of Xu Yingze's usage, this is much more powerful than the existence of clearing sound.

The core of this chapter is "Whether fighting or not, you are the winner in my heart", and what she said later "As you wish".

In the previous chapter, I wrote a little bit about Mu Zhengguang's admiration for her, and in this chapter, I wrote a little bit about Xu Yingze's admiration for her.

Mu Zhengguang is sentimental and he attaches great importance to "love" and the person he loves.

Xu Ying is more rational. She has a sense of responsibility and bottom line in her heart. She knows what to do, what not to do, when to do it, and to what extent.
