Chapter 16 Homecoming
"Just wait, you bastard."

Saffrina's roar came from behind. Farry didn't even turn his head, just flew forward.

Who will be waiting there?

"Don't you just want to see me poor so you can mock me as much as you want?"

This is not the first or second time that Fari has been mocked for being poor by Safrina.

Savrina is different from Fari. She is the kind of child that other people's families have. She is hardworking, serious and talented. After she turned fifty and became a young dragon, she frequently traveled to the mainland with her parents.

Every time she returned to Dragon Island, she couldn't help showing off the treasures she had obtained on the mainland in front of Fari.

Fari, who slept in the nest every day, certainly didn't have any of the fancy stuff on the mainland. Every time, Fari could only watch Safrina excitedly introduce the craftsmanship, background stories, and wealth of those gold, silver and jewelry.

Then often at this time, Safrina would start to say something smugly that would make Farri very unhappy.

"These are the worst of my collection. They suit you very well. Here they are for you."

"Blood connection can't go wrong."

"About three hundred meters."

Naturally, Farri would always kick out Safrina along with all her treasures.

But all these ambitions will disappear after a good night's sleep.

But having finally found a place to build a nest, Fary would definitely not give up. He adjusted his posture, aimed his flight direction towards the location of the nest he sensed, then closed his eyes and flew over regardless.

In front of him was the entrance to his lair. It seemed that this attempt was successful.

That guy was extremely persistent in finding opportunities to laugh at me. When we were on Dragon Island, he would stick around me almost every day.

"The third time."

This is often accompanied by an impatient expression, which, in Ferry's opinion, is a mockery of his poverty.

Fari seemed to be able to sense that his territory was just ahead, but all he could see was a barren mountain.

If we delay a little longer, maybe Savrina will come looking for us.

The trance gradually faded and Farui opened his eyes.

Farui just wanted to have a good sleep and forget all the bad things that had happened just now.

He tried to fly forward for a while, and after a moment of trance, he found that his territory seemed to have been left behind.

Fary flapped his wings and began to slow down, barely able to stabilize his posture only fifty meters above the ground.

A real man should stand tall in heaven and earth, how can he accept such a pity?

The feeling of trance reappeared, but the perception of his own territory suddenly became much clearer, not far below him.

But the problem now is that he can't find his nest.

"No, it should be not far ahead."

Fari had tried it several times before, and each time he would be dazed for a moment, and by the time he came to his senses, he had already flown past the place. He now realized that there was something wrong with the place he chose to build the nest.

Although Fari was actually quite jealous of the treasures, he had thought several times about going to the mainland with his mother, snatching some treasures and showing them off in front of Safrina.

Fari landed safely.

"I have become more skilled at landing recently."

Fari muttered to himself that if he had just left Dragon Island, he would have probably bumped into the entrance of the nest.

The inside of the nest was still as simple as before. The small pile of gold coins and treasures gathered pitifully in the corner, making the nest look even more shabby.

"Although that adventurer has potential, we can't rely on him alone."

Fary lay down on his pitiful pile of treasure and closed his eyes.

"With Safrina's persistent character, she will come to our door sooner or later. We must find a way to make the nest presentable before then. We can't let her look down on us."

But all his ambitions could not stop the sleepiness that came over him. The dragon's instinct reminded Fary that he needed to get some sleep as soon as possible to allow his injured left wing to recover.

Soon, Farui's snoring could be heard in the cave. And on a barren mountain in the distance, a silver-haired girl sat on the edge of a cliff, looking in the direction of the "Novice Village" with doubts.

"Auntie, his breath is gone."

The magic circle beside him flashed a few times.

"No problem. I'll continue to deal with the undead here."

What Safrina said to Farui wasn't entirely a lie; part of the reason she came here was indeed because of the undead that were wreaking havoc here.

The preliminary investigation concluded that someone was gathering the necromancers in the surrounding area and providing them with shelter, and many nameless small villages had disappeared silently.

As a silver dragon, he couldn't just ignore the current situation.

"He won't be able to escape so easily next time. I will give him a good spur."

The magic circle turned into a point of light and dissipated. The girl stood up, and a silver dragon took off into the sky and flew away.

The sun has risen.

Fary didn't sleep for long. The wound on his left wing had almost healed. Except for some itching, it was no different from usual.

I counted the gold coins around me and found that there was no increase. It seemed that Reinhardt had not yet arrived at the royal capital.

"You still have to rely on yourself."

Fari stretched and walked out of the nest.

Then he saw what seemed to be a conflict taking place in front of the small village at the foot of the mountain.

The militiamen held their crude weapons and pointed them at the goblins not far ahead.

"My...name is Krigor. No fight, deal."

The dragon-born goblin named Krigo spoke haltingly in the common language of mankind.

He opened his arms to show that he had no weapons.

"What do you want?"

The village chief stood up.

Early this morning, the hunter in the village reported to him what happened in the goblin camp.

If a fight breaks out in this goblin camp with hundreds of people, many people in the village will die.

"First, get some food to send them away, then go to the city to find adventurers to come and finish them off."

The village chief thought so in his heart.

"We need farm tools, seeds... We can exchange them with you for herbs."

Krigo's common language was gradually becoming fluent. He pulled a thin goblin next to him and pulled a small bag from his arms.

It contains low-level medicinal materials.

Collecting herbs is a delicate job. There is not a single herbalist in the entire village. Whenever you need herbs, you either have to hire the corresponding adventurers or buy them at high prices in the pharmacy in the city.

"We can provide herbs and beast leather for a long time..."

Farri watched as Kriego and the village below reached a deal, finally shaking hands with human etiquette, and then walked towards their camp with the goods.

Fary's eyes were fixed on the skinny goblin.

He is smaller than the average goblin, and his eyes and ears are also different from those of ordinary goblins. It seems that he has some elven blood.

Even if he only inherited a small part of the bloodline, his talent in collecting herbs and brewing medicines would surpass that of ordinary humans. Not to mention, Fary seemed to feel that there seemed to be the budding of magic in the goblin's body. Perhaps in the near future, he would be able to feel the magic around him and become a spellcaster.

Such mutants would appear from time to time among the goblins. According to the dragon scholars that Farui had heard, the bloodlines of the goblins were mostly mixed, and occasionally newborns would revert to their ancestral roots, activating a certain bloodline in their bodies and becoming mutants.

However, there seemed to be too many mutants among this group of goblins. Fary only took a quick glance and found three mutants in that small settlement.

"This group of goblins might actually achieve something."
