Huizhi's expression when looking at the Arabian horse reminded Lu Chen of the look on men's faces in the real world when they saw a supercar.

It seemed as if light was coming out of both eyes.

"Brother, why didn't you tell Senior Sister Zhenruo about this BMW?" Lu Chen said with a strange look on his face.

"She didn't ask. Besides, this was given to us by her family. How could she not know?"

Huizhi said so, but the smile on the corner of his mouth made Lu Chen understand that this was Brother Huizhi's bad taste.

I couldn't help feeling a little resentful.

Senior Sister Zhenruo just didn't want to go with you, and you just tricked her again. Tsk tsk, you are a bit petty.

"Are you still saying bad things about me in your heart?"

Senior Brother Huizhi stared at Lu Chen.

Lu Chen's expression straightened up: "No, Brother."

"Really not?"

"Really not, brother."

"Well, I don't think you are a liar." Huizhi said with satisfaction.

"Senior brother, you are really good at judging people." Lu Chen nodded honestly.

Huizhi glanced at him sideways and then said nothing more.

The two men mounted their horses.

Lu Chen has never learned to ride a horse, but his skills are evident.

It’s just horse training. In less than ten miles, Lu Chen can easily control the Arabian horse.

The two men rode their Arabian horses at full speed, and soon, the Ye Ming City behind them gradually disappeared.

……

Sacrifice to Saiguo.

As one of the few big countries in Xiniuhezhou, the Jisai Kingdom has a very high status. Although it is not as good as the Great Zhou inherited from the common leader of the human race in Nanzhanbuzhou, it is a veritable powerful country and suzerain state among the nearby countries.

Just like the Atu Kingdom where Lingtai Fangcun Mountain is located, they are all suzerain states with four or five small countries as vassal states.

However, the countries led by the Jisai Kingdom and the Atu Kingdom are different. The main cultivation force in Atu is headed by the city-protecting immortal clan, and the royal family of Atu Kingdom is also a cultivation family.

The same situation also occurred in several nearby countries, including Nantu and Beitu.

Although there are monks in the temple, their power is not strong and cannot be compared with the immortal clan that protects the city.

For example, Zhen'an, although he tried to conceal it, all his fellow disciples who paid attention knew that he was the prince of Atu Kingdom.

The state religion of the Jisai Kingdom is mainly Buddhism.

Puhua Temple has produced eminent monks from generation to generation, so it can be regarded as a holy place in the country of Jisai.

The abbot of Puhua Temple in this generation, Master Jin Guang, dreamed of traveling to the sacred Zizhulin in the South China Sea. Enlightened by the compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, he led his disciples to the Nantu Kingdom.

The only one who came back was his eldest disciple Miaoxiang.

However, after the Buddha's relics were brought back, everyone in the temple felt that it was all worth it.

Even though the ray of divine thought left by Abbot Jin Guang in the temple in the previous two days had radiated brilliance and left behind the words "Born as a son of Buddha, future Buddha, this is the true meaning of the Bodhisattva's words. All the killing in Yeming City is my fault and my sin. All living beings are innocent, and the Xiong family is innocent. Puhua Temple should know that I, Jin Guang, am the shame of the temple!", it did not reduce the fanatical emotions in Puhua Temple.

In order to welcome the Buddha's relics back to the temple, all the eminent monks in Puhua Temple came out.

The high-level leaders from previous generations also came out one after another. They all looked old and frail, but they were all flying in the air. They were all high monks who were at least in the Purple Mansion Realm!

White jade gems shone brightly, a red carpet stretched for ten miles, and the current king of the country of Jisai came in a luxurious chariot decorated with canopies and garlands to welcome the return of the Buddha's relics!
Although Miaoxiang traveled a long way, when he was hundreds of miles outside the city, he was surrounded by monks from Puhua Temple who had been waiting for a long time.

He took off his bloodstained and filthy monk's uniform, put on a clean white monk's robe, and put on a bright red cassock inlaid with pearls, agates and gems. Then, he was surrounded by hundreds of monks, chanting Buddhist scriptures all the way back to the capital.

There are bursts of Buddhist music, and light shines on gems and pearls.

The spacious avenue was already crowded with people on both sides. When countless people saw the monks returning, they immediately prostrated themselves on the ground, pressed their heads against the ground, and kowtowed with utmost respect.

The king got off the carriage and knelt on the ground with the ministers behind him.

The loud sound of monks chanting scriptures came from all directions. Three thin old monks came forward and saluted Miaoxiang. The old monk in the middle handed over a staff made of gold and inlaid with a huge gem.

Miaoxiang looked a little flustered, but soon calmed down and took the staff symbolizing the abbot of a temple from the old monk.

Her cheeks were flushed, perhaps because of the reflection of the bright red robes or because the weather was too hot.

At the back of the crowd, a young monk in white was watching the scene calmly.

Seeing the crowd cheering and shouting "holy monk", and seeing Miaoxiang proudly raising the staff in his hand, clasping his hands together, he sighed softly: "Amitabha..."

"Master Jinchan, are we...are we really going to leave?"

Behind the young monk was a young novice monk. He looked at the boiling scene in the distance and couldn't help showing a look of longing. When he turned his head to look at the young monk behind him, he looked a little embarrassed: "Although Abbot Jin Guang passed away and went to heaven, the Buddha's relics have successfully returned to the temple. The orthodox status of Puhua Temple will never be shaken. Isn't this also your wish, Master Jin Chan? Puhua Temple will become the national temple of Jisai Kingdom. Leaving now... I'm afraid..."

The young monk did not continue speaking.

However, he was somewhat dissatisfied with the young monk's behavior.

Although Puhua Temple is a large temple, there are still two or three temples of the same size in the country that can threaten its status.

Now that Miaoxiang has successfully brought back the Buddha's relics, no one will be able to shake Puhua Temple's status as a national temple. The future of Puhua Temple will be bright and there will be great potential for development. Why are they leaving now?
Upon hearing this, Master Jin Chan remained calm and asked softly, "Miaoyun, how many years have you been with me?"

Miao Yun was stunned for a moment, then immediately said, "Master, it has been seven years and more than two months."

"Ah."

Master Jinchan nodded and said, "You don't have to follow me anymore. Just go back to the temple."

Miaoyun was stunned for a moment. Although he called himself Master Jinchan, he had been following Master Jinchan for seven years and had never become a disciple of other eminent monks. However, he thought that he was already Master Jinchan's disciple.

Now Master Jinchan wants to drive him away?

How does this make!
He knelt down hurriedly: "Master! Please don't chase me away. I already know my mistake. Please forgive me..."

"No, you have to give yourself a break."

Master Jinchan looked down at Miaoyun, his voice calm and gentle: "Follow your heart and don't go against your original intention. You need to experience it before you can understand thousands of principles. If you force yourself to go against your original intention, even if you follow me, you will not be able to achieve great freedom."

Miaoyun kowtowed immediately, calling out, "Master, I wish to stay by your side..."

But when he looked up again, Master Jin Chan was no longer there.
If Miaoyun looked up, he might have seen a figure in white flying away. It was the Master Jinchan who had already left.

Since Miaoyun was unwilling to leave the corrupted Puhua Temple with him, he would not force her to stay.

As soon as he walked out of the capital, he landed on the ground and walked forward step by step. However, he was not willing to use too much magic power to travel, but wanted to measure with his footsteps and travel around.

When flying within the capital, he did not want to meet fellow disciples from other temples, for fear that the two would get tired of each other and feel uncomfortable.

That's perfect.

However, when he walked not far, he met an old monk. The old monk was very old and skinny, with skin wrapped around his bones, loose and wrinkled, just like the old bark of a dead tree.

"master."

When Master Jin Chan saw the old man, he was shocked. This old monk turned out to be his teacher who had passed away to the West hundreds of years ago.

But I don’t know why it appears here?

Although the old monk was skinny, the soft and pure Buddha light emanating from his body, which was the same as his, proved that he was not a demon in disguise. He hurried forward and bowed to the old monk.

"Master, when did you return? Are you here to receive the Buddha's relics as well?"

Master Jin Chan was somewhat puzzled.

The Buddha's relics are probably the most precious in Puhua Temple.

But in the wonderful land of Lingshan Mountain, where all the Buddhas coexist, the word "precious" cannot be used at all.

The old monk shook his head slightly and said with a smile: "No, I came here specifically for you." The old monk shook his head slightly and said with a smile.

"Come for your disciples?"

Master Jinchan was puzzled: "Why did the disciple make the master worried? It was the disciple's fault that I disturbed the master's meritorious practice."

His expression showed guilt.

"Saving oneself is Hinayana, saving others is Mahayana. I cannot save everyone in the world to become a Buddha, but I can save you."

The old monk asked, "Jinchan, let me ask you, have you made up your mind? You know, if you don't leave, even if Miaoxiang returns with the relics, the position of abbot will still be yours in terms of virtue and reputation. He is not qualified enough and has not practiced enough. He needs to take over the position of abbot after you. As long as you want, I will make the decision for you."

"Master, this is not my intention."

Jin Chan shook his head decisively, with a somewhat sad look on his face: "Besides, Puhua Temple will no longer exist from today. Only Jinguang Temple will remain. As the last attendant disciple of Brother Jinguang, it is only natural for Junior Brother Miaoxiang to take over the position of abbot. This is also what everyone expects. I am willing to travel around the world to find the truth to save all living beings in the world."

As he spoke, he clasped his hands together, and the sun's light shone on his body, emitting strands of white light.

The old monk looked at Master Jin Chan and shook his head slightly: "Jin Chan."

"Master." Jin Chan bowed slightly, pretending to listen attentively.

The old monk said, "You will definitely become a Buddha in the future. Someone will come to ask for retribution for the killings committed by Jin Guang and his men in the future. Today's cause will have consequences in the future. When the Mahayana Tripitaka goes east, Jin Guang Temple will be ravaged... Amitabha."

Master Jin Chan was confused by what he heard.

At this moment, the old monk in front suddenly changed his appearance. In the astonished eyes of Master Jin Chan, he gradually transformed into a Bodhisattva-like figure holding a jade bottle.

Master Jin Chan immediately put his hands together and said nervously, "This humble monk pays homage to the Bodhisattva!"

The master turned out to be a transformed Bodhisattva! ?

"I wonder why the Bodhisattva has changed so much?" Master Jin Chan looked puzzled.

He had practiced for hundreds of years, but this was the first time he had seen a real Bodhisattva, and it happened at a time when he was depressed and frustrated.

"Golden Zen."

"The little monk is here."

The Bodhisattva said, "Just now I was testing you to see if your heart of enlightenment would be deceived by this worldly world."

Master Jin Chan's heart tightened, and he couldn't help feeling a little nervous. If he had hesitated a little when the Bodhisattva asked him questions just now, he might have failed the test.

He said quickly: "Buddha, I know clearly what I said, every word is from my heart!"

"I know that you are determined to be a Buddha."

The Bodhisattva nodded and slowly said, "The cause and effect of the Jinguang Temple has been determined. The Buddha's revelation was misunderstood. Although the relic was welcomed, it was not a good result. Because of this incident, a total of 967 people were killed. From now on, within 967 years, no one will be able to obtain the true fruit position in the wonderful realm of Lingshan in the west of this world of Jambu."

Master Jin Chan opened his mouth in surprise.

For nearly a thousand years, no one will be led to the sacred mountain realm. This will completely cut off the chances for the future development of Jinguang Temple!

It is known that the reason why Puhua Temple can become as grand as it is today is that every hundred years, there will be a person who is led to the Western Paradise, sits under the Buddha's seat, listens to the wonderful words of Buddhism, and seeks to attain the status of Arhat.

The person in front was his master.

Because of this, Puhua Temple secured its title as the largest temple in the Kingdom of Jisai, was praised by the people and revered by the king.

But after this incident, let alone becoming larger, it would be good if Jinguang Temple still existed after more than 900 years!

Although he came from Puhua Temple, the predecessor of Jinguang Temple, and felt sympathy for what would happen to Jinguang Temple in the next 900 years, this was, after all, a calamity ordained by the Bodhisattva, and it was the result of cause and effect, so he had nothing to say.

At this time, the Bodhisattva continued, "Since you have decided to leave the Jinguang Temple, this matter has nothing to do with you, and you will have another opportunity to achieve the right fruition. In the Yeming City of Nantu Kingdom, there is a born Buddha child, a reincarnated spirit boy. You need to find him. The day he enters my Buddhist sect and becomes a Buddha, it will be the day for you to help the Buddha child become a Buddha and complete your own merits."

Master Jin Chan was extremely surprised.

The last words left by Senior Brother Jin Guang turned out to be true! ?
That Yeming City, were there really born Buddha's children and reincarnated spirit children appearing?

Master Jin Chan's expression changed, and he suddenly remembered the Buddha's revelation: "Is the Buddha like dust in Yeming City?"

"In Yeming City, the Buddha is like dust, and in Lingshan, the Buddha has returned to nirvana... This is what the Buddha said, remember, you can't force it with force. Do you understand?"

"I know this and will follow the Bodhisattva's instructions."

Master Jin Chan clasped his hands together and nodded in agreement.

"Go, go east, don't go slow, stop when you see the shadow! Save when you see a soul, and be a Buddha when you see fire! You will be able to see the reincarnated spirit boy!"

A ball of white cloud rose from under the feet of Guanyin Bodhisattva, lifting her body up into the sky. She flew higher and higher, farther and farther, and gradually disappeared from Master Jinchan's sight. Only the lingering sound remained in her ears, echoing continuously.

"Farewell, Bodhisattva."

Master Jin Chan bowed again, then found the right direction and flew away again.
