China Test Pilot College, also known as Northwestern Polytechnical University Test Pilot College, is a higher education institution approved by the State Education Commission with the purpose of training a new generation of high-level test pilots and flight test engineers. It is a relatively independent educational entity based on the China Flight Test Research Institute and Northwestern Polytechnical University.

The Southwest Flight Test Academy is affiliated to Panshan Group and is under the jurisdiction of 011 Aviation Base. Its administrative level is the same as that of Guizhou Aviation Group. It has a high degree of independence and is also a reform pilot unit.

Southwest Flight Test Academy owns a variety of aircraft, including those in service, experimental ones, and those acquired from abroad.

There are many aircraft that have never been seen by the outside world because they are test aircraft that have not passed the test to be mass-produced and put into service.

In fact, only a small number of aircraft can actually be put into service.

At the same time, Southwest Flight Test Academy has the most advanced flight test teaching hardware and software, and has long implemented multimedia teaching and flight simulation. Even its test pilot fitness center and medical center are the most advanced in the country.

This is the improvement in aviation engine performance, which gives the J-20 fighter super maneuverability.

Of course, compared with the J-20 fighter, the most important thing about the J-11 fighter is not the improvement of the aero-engine, but the avionics system and stealth design!
According to current assessments, due to the improvement of the avionics system, the J-20 fighter does not even need to develop a two-seat model, because one pilot can easily fly the J-20 fighter.

Of course, Yang Wei and his team will develop a two-seat model of the J-20 fighter, because theory is theory and must be put into practice. In addition, the two-seat model also has another function, which is to train pilots.
