From this, it can be inferred that if '.cn' is deleted from the domain name system, or even the IP addresses allocated for use in China are cancelled, China will become a spectator of the international backbone network.

In the past, during the Iraq War, the United States deleted Iraq's top-level domain name .iq, which resulted in the paralysis of Iraq's entire Internet, which was a decisive blow to information warfare.

The 9 auxiliary root servers will be placed in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Kunming, Chengdu, Jiangcheng, Chang'an, Bingcheng, and Urumqi.

The request for web page access is completed by a data packet. Since the length of a data packet is 256b, it is determined that a data packet can only have 13 blocks, which fundamentally limits the number of root domain name servers, that is, there can only be 13 root domain name servers.

In the past, there were 13 root servers in the world, 10 of which were in the United States, 2 in Europe, and 1 in Japan.

China has the largest number of Internet users in the world, but does not have a root server.

It was not until 2006 that China opened the "root domain name China mirror server". However, as long as China does not have a root domain name server, no matter how many mirror servers are added, it will only increase the speed of Internet users accessing web pages, and the security problem cannot be completely solved. The United States, which has 10 root domain name servers, can still obtain relevant data from China's Internet DNS resolution, which is a huge threat to China's national security.
