The Four Steps to the Sky
Chapter 90 Da Vinci
Darcy, one of the Guardians of the Devil
Leonardo, Darcy 1452-1519), also translated Da Vinci, was a polymath during the Italian Renaissance: in addition to being a painter, he was also a sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer , inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer.
His talent may be higher than other figures of the same period, which makes him a representative of Renaissance humanism, and also makes him a typical artist of the Renaissance and one of the most famous painters in history. Michelangelo and Raphael are called the three masters of the Renaissance.Asteroid 3000 was named "Leonardo".
Darcy is often described as the quintessential polymath, a man of "irresistible curiosity" and an "extremely active creative imagination".
He is widely recognized as one of the greatest painters of all time, and perhaps the most diverse talent of all. [
According to art historian Helen Gardner, his interests reached an unprecedented range and depth, and "his thought and personality seemed out of the ordinary, while he was mysterious and distant." There have been many observations about Darcy, but his worldview is qualitatively logical rather than mystical, and the empiricism he used was unusual for the period.
Darcy was and is known primarily as a painter, and is known for his realistic and influential paintings.
In his works,
The earliest known dated work by Darcy is a 1473 painting with the pen and ink of Amo Valley (rno vlley).
Darcy accepted two painting contracts between 1476 and 1478, and it is assumed that he had a studio of his own at that time.
Between about 1482 and 1498, Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan (uke of mln), hired Daci and allowed him and his apprentices to open a studio.
This location is where the Duke of Milan tried to save Milan from being ruled by Charles VIII of France in 1495. He cast 70 tons of bronze into weapons, and these materials were originally intended to be used by Darcy for the equestrian sculpture - Gran Camero.
In 1498, when France returned to the rule of Louis XII, Milan surrendered without a fight, and the Sforza family was overturned.Darcy remained in Milan for some time until, early one morning, he discovered that the life-size clay model of Gran Camero was being used as a target by French archers.
Darcy left Milan for Mantua with his close friend and assistant Salai and Luca Pacioli, the friend who first described double-entry bookkeeping, and arrived in Venice two months later.
In Venice, Darcy was employed as a military engineer.Returned to Florence in 1500.
In Florence, Darcy entered the ministry of Pope Alexander VI's son Caesar Pogier as a military architect and engineer, and traveled with Caesar Pogiel throughout Italy.
In 1506, Darcy returned to Milan, where Maximilian Sforre was established after the expulsion of the Swiss mercenaries from France.
From 1513 to 1516, Darcy lived in Rome, when famous painters like Raphael and Michelangelo were active in Rome, but Darcy did not have regular contact with these artists.
Yet he was a key figure in the relocation of Michelangelo's masterpiece, David, to Florence, possibly against the artist's will.
In the last three years of Darcy's life, at the invitation of Francis I, he moved to Amboise, France.Francois I gifted Darcy Clauslus Castle as a residence, and Darcy designed the double spiral staircase for Chambord Castle.
Darcy died of illness in 1519 and was buried in the chapel of St. Hubert in Amboise Castle.
Art Hing Humanism - An extreme phenomenon between science and art and mutually exclusive.
Darcy's research into science and engineering is as memorable and outstanding as his art.
The approximately 13000 pages of notes and drawings in the manuscript are records that mix art and science. These records are created by Darcy through observation and continuous creation during his European trip.
Left-handed, he wrote in mirror image all his life. For left-handed writers, it is easier to pull the quill from right to left than to write from left to right, and it will not confuse the words just written. Therefore, his diaries are all mirror words.
