I became a weirdo in Marvel

Chapter 35 Afterwards

Chapter 35 Afterwards
it is finally over.

The same words echoed in everyone's heart. They had been really tormented that night. From their indifference and determination at the beginning, to their shock and fear later on, they were only now able to completely relax.

"Chief, the Homelander won," Coulson said.

"Homelander? What a good name."

Fury had already arrived at the SHIELD medical facility. Looking at the bright red light in the emergency room, he ordered, "Go find Kingpin. If possible, take him down before General Ross does. At least get some useful information out of him."

"Given his personality, if he had such a powerful force long ago, he wouldn't have used it now. I want to know what happened to him in the past two days."

"Yes!"

After hanging up the phone, Coulson, who was already in the car, asked his subordinates in the driver's seat to speed up.

However, before reaching the place where Jin Bing fell, his car was stopped by a group of armed soldiers.

"S.H.I.E.L.D." Coulson showed them his credentials.

The soldiers looked at each other and shrugged, "What is SHIELD? Have you heard of it?"

"No, I don't. Maybe it's the name of a dance hall."

"Oh, I bet there's a hot-assed girl in there."

"Hahaha!"

Listening to the soldiers' teasing, Coulson's face darkened. The situation he feared most had occurred. General Ross had no intention of keeping his promise and sharing the information with them, but was prepared to keep it for himself.

With the mentality of giving it a try, he took the initiative to contact General Ross, and strangely, the call was connected.

"General Ross, I request a meeting with Jin Bing. This is what we agreed on."

"Agent Coulson, I have some unfortunate news for you. Kingpin is dead, so it's useless for you to see him. He can no longer answer any of your questions."

Doing this?
Coulson's first reaction was that General Ross was lying.

"General, I think you know how terrible Kingpin is. You won't fake his death and make some stupid deals with him, right?"

"Heh, let me say it again, he's dead, and his body is in the custody of our military. It has nothing to do with your SHIELD anymore. That's it!"

Hearing the busy tone on the phone, the honest Coulson couldn't help but clench his fists. This was the right that Hawkeye had fought for with his life, but he was fooled by such a light sentence. It was simply unforgivable.

After he reported the situation here to Fury, Fury's tone seemed very calm: "Politicians are like this, you have to get used to it. It's okay, we at SHIELD have our own way of doing things. You don't have to worry about this matter anymore, look for the survivors tonight, they may know something."

"it is good."

Jin Bing's villa has become a ruin.

Coulson asked Fury for a group of helpers, who used various instruments and equipment to remove the piled up rubble and search for possible survivors.

Suddenly, a young man dressed as a tramp was brought over by his subordinates, twisting his shoulders.

"What's going on?" Coulson asked.

"When we went to look for the strange man in red, we found him hiding in a tree, so we brought him here."

"Hey, you're their leader, right?"

Eddie pretended to be a crazy tramp and said nonsense seriously: "I was sleeping peacefully in the tree, why did you catch me? You made a lot of noise all night, can't I sleep?"

"."

Coulson took out a palm-sized instrument and directly collected Eddie's fingerprints, and immediately obtained his identity information: "Eddie Brock, a popular reporter for the Globe. He once..."

“Stop, stop, stop! Stop talking.” Eddie raised his hands and admitted defeat: “Okay, I am indeed a reporter, and I came here to find out some big news. However, this news is so big and terrifying that I can only hide. I dare not show my head at all. If I go out, I will be dead. So, please rest assured that I didn’t take any photos.”

Coulson chuckled, "So how did you get to the tree?"

"Well, Spider-Man got me there."

Seeing their bewildered expressions, Eddie added, "Oh, that's the weird guy in red you mentioned. Can I ask, was he beaten to death by that monster?"

Spider-Man?

What is going on in this world? Why do so many weird and powerful guys suddenly appear?

Coulson shook his head and said, "No, he should be fine. We are also looking for him. If you have more information about him, please let us know."

"No, I'll tell you when I find out. Then, I'll leave first."

After saying that, Eddie wanted to turn around and leave, but was blocked by the two burly men.

"I'm sorry, you can't leave now. Please come back with us and assist in the investigation."

"what?"

Uncle Ben is certainly not dead.

After being hit by Kingpin's punch, he just felt like he was hit hard by a car and was a little weak, but the injury was not very serious.

After a short rest, he chased after Harry and Kingpin, and cleaned up the mess for them, keeping himself busy.

After Uncle Ben saved all the people he could and saw Jin falling from the sky and getting hurt miserably, he completely relaxed and headed home, completely forgetting that there was someone alone in the tree waiting for him to come back.

Quietly returning home, Uncle Ben took off his Spider-Man suit, revealing a large bruise underneath. He reached out to touch it and grimaced in pain.

He found some medicine in his home medical kit, applied it on himself, and felt much better.

After spraying some perfume on himself to cover up the smell of the medicine, Uncle Ben opened the door and walked out.

The house was quiet. Uncle Ben went to Parker's door, gently opened it and went in.

Parker was sleeping soundly. Maybe it was too hot in the room. He kicked the quilt aside, exposing his belly. He was still mumbling something, but no one knew what he was saying.

Uncle Ben curled up the corners of his mouth, smiled silently, pulled the quilt for him, and looked at the desk beside him.

There was a stack of papers on top, all filled with sketches of Spider-Man in various poses with slightly different patterns on his costumes.

How come this child cares more about this than I do?
Will this affect his studies? I have to talk to him about it tomorrow.

Uncle Ben shook his head and exited the room, carefully closing the door.

Going downstairs, Aunt May was lying on the recliner with her head tilted to one side. She had also fallen asleep. The TV was flickering on and off, broadcasting a boring late-night drama.

Uncle Ben picked up the remote control, turned off the TV, walked to Aunt May, bent down, picked her up, and said something softly in her ear.

"Mei, I'm back."

At the same time, Harry stood in front of Norman with a bright smile.

"Dad, I'm back, it's easy to solve."

"As expected of my son, you did a great job. However, the Superman armor is completely scrapped and needs to be remade. The funds will be deducted from your pocket money."

"what?"
