One, accept the precepts.

Bewilderment becomes confusion, and worry becomes karma.

Rewarded by karma, life and death are endless.

Second, accept and uphold the law.

To eliminate the bitter fruit, first eliminate the cause of suffering.

Karma is divided into good and evil, and merit has no beginning and end.

Three, accept and uphold wisdom.

When the dust goes to the mirror, the sky shines on itself.

The karma is all confused, and the forgetfulness of love is revealed. "

The elder said that the three studies have been completed, and the layman asked again, "What are the four changes?"

Zen Master Xuejian put his palms together again and said: "The door of the Shi family, with the breadth of all living beings, said four changes in order to repay the Buddha's kindness: [-]. The compassion of the Buddha changes the violence and evil of all living beings.

Second, the Buddha's joy and sacrifice can change the greed and miserliness of all living beings.

Third, the equality of the Buddha can change the karmic relationship between all living beings.

Fourth, the Buddha's patience and humiliation can change the hatred of all living beings. "

The elder said that the four changes have been completed, and the layman asked again, "What is gradual?"

The elder said: "From gradual to sudden, from second to complete. From merit to self-sufficiency, the fruit is ripe." He asked: "What are the four breaks?"

Answer:

Do not engage in sexual intercourse, cut off all pure seeds.

If you don't drink, you will cut off all seeds of wisdom.

Do not steal, cut off all seeds of merit.

If you don't kill, cut off all seeds of compassion.

The elder said that the four breaks had been completed, and the layman asked again, "What is sitting meditation?"

The elder clasped his palms together and spoke a verse:

The light of the heart is illusory, and the body is absolutely round.

Jinbozaza, movement, tranquility and constant Zen.

Thoughts arise and thoughts cease, there is no need to stop them.

Ren Yun torrent, never rise and fall.

From the beginning to the end, the great Kassapa appeared.

Sit, lie, live, and move, and don't often rest.

Zen why not sit, why not sit Zen.

If so, it is called zazen.

The elder said that sitting meditation was over, and the layman asked again, "What is mind contemplation?"

The elder clasped his palms together and talked about the mind view, saying: "Surangama" says: All dharmas are produced, but the mind is manifested.All cause and effect, the dust of the world, the body is formed by the heart.If you want to speak with your mind, it is like the sound of a harp, seeking to be invisible; if you want to speak without your mind, it is like the sound of a harp, and your meditation will sound immediately.Whether there is nothing or nothing is wonderful.

And said the verse:

It is said that the Buddha obtains liberation from the heart, and the pure heart is called Wuxi.

And the Tao is fresh and clean and not subject to color, and those who understand this will become the Tao.

After the elder had finished preaching, the layman threw himself into the ground, wishing to worship his disciples and accept the precepts, because he said: "There is a Pilu nunnery here, which has been destroyed by war and is uninhabited. I would like to keep my teacher to make offerings. It is beside the big forest in front of the village. The old Zen master is invited to rejoice. "The elder Xuejian walked forward with tin, and followed when he was empty.After leaving the village, within half a mile, there was indeed a thatched hermitage.But I saw that the mountain gate was locked upside down and sealed with clouds, and the fragrance was desolate and there was no moonlight.Wang Xing'an took the key and opened the door, only to see that the sandalwood statue of Wei Tuo in the front hall and the Pilu Buddha in the middle hall have not yet been completed.Wang Xing'an said: "If the disciple is destined, the teacher is willing to live, and he is willing to give up his family's wealth and finish Buddhist work." After paying homage to the Buddha's Wei Tuo and the Kitchen God, the lay monk asked the elder for conversion.It was also Likong's old wish. Yunniang gave up the one hundred and eight bead beads here. Due to this good fate, she was naturally protected by the Buddha's power, and Wei Tuo took her to guide her, and she came to Pilu Temple to practice.

This Wang Xing'an is said to be in the old days of Tanyue, and all the faithful men and women knew that a virtuous monk was recruited here.The phantom sound that was there in the past went to Wangguzi's nunnery in the city because there was no one in the nunnery. He was worried that there was no one to guard the Buddhist affairs. When he heard this letter, everyone sent rice, flour, oil and salaries, and recruited a Taoist to make a fire.The elder reconciled with Kong, and within three days, he cleaned the front and back as clean as new. He planted vegetables in the garden, swept the floor and burned incense.

But he said that Taiding hadn't seen Yunniang since Tokyo, and when he came back, he went to the Linqing gate and asked about the official ship from Bianliang, but he didn't believe it at all.After a day, I found out that the Jin soldiers came down from Shandong to intercept the boat and snatch the palace man, so they changed the road and went from the small river to Huai'an from the lake. "

Everyone spent the night happily.The next day, Liaokong reported to Elder Xuejian and said: "The disciple has been lured out of the labyrinth by the master for several years, and found the way to return to enlightenment. It is really rare. I should follow the throne and repay the teacher's kindness. It's like burning, and I meet old people again, and I'm eager to find them. Master Wanwang is merciful, don't let them go." Monk Xuejian smiled and said: "The fate has come, how can I keep you? But you have to cross the river of love and the sea of ​​desire. , must be firmly grasped, and if there are unjust vines and vines, they must be wiped out one by one, and then the dragon balls will meet, and the Buddha-nature will be bright. I have eight verses, you must keep them in mind, and they will come true." Yin said: "Who is the bright moon?" Companion, the reed flower is alone.

The broken pearls are returned, and the tide makes a sound.

See the Buddha in the tiger's den, and stop prostitution in the mandarin tent.

Eliminate trespasses and release sins, lotus purifies plum hearts.
