1.2
Youzi said: "As a man, he is also filial to his younger brother, but it is rare to be fond of offending his superiors! It is rare for him to be fond of offending his superiors, but he is fond of making trouble. There is no such thing. "

Zi Xia said: "A virtuous person is easy to look at. When serving parents, one can do one's best. When serving one's ruler, one can do one's best. When dealing with friends, one must keep one's word. Even if you say you haven't learned it, I must say you have learned it."

1.8
The Master said: "If a gentleman is not serious, he will not be powerful; if he learns, he will not be solid. The Lord is loyal and trustworthy, and if he has no friends who are not as good as himself, don't be afraid to correct his mistakes."

1.12
Youzi said: "For the purpose of etiquette, harmony is the most important thing. The way of the ancient kings, this is the beauty, and the small and the big are left to themselves. If you don't want to do something, you should know harmony and live in harmony. If you don't use etiquette, it will not work."

1.13
You Zi said: "Faith is close to righteousness, but words can be restored. Being close to courtesy is far from shame. You can also sect because you don't lose your relatives."

1.14

Zi Gong said: "How about being poor without flattery, and being rich without arrogance?"

Confucius said: "Yes. It is not like being poor and happy, but rich and polite."

Zi Gong said: "The "Poetry" says: 'It's like cutting like weaving, like cutting like grinding', what do you mean by that?"

The Master said: "Give it to you, and then you can say that the "Poetry" is over! Tell everyone who has gone and knows what will come."

The Master said: "Don't worry about what others don't know, and worry about people who don't know."
