Chapter 1 Section 16 Parents and Children

[UK] bacon
As the joys of parents are secret, so are their sorrows and sorrows. They cannot speak of their joys, nor will they confide their sorrows and anxieties.

Children make labor beautiful and misfortune bitter. They add to the troubles of life, and lighten the memory of death.

Procreation is a common instinct of animals, but fame, honor and lofty achievements are unique instincts of human beings.Of course, it may be seen that the noblest deeds have come from the childless. After they can't express their bodies and images, they try to express their spiritual images. So, those who have no offspring are most concerned about offspring. The earliest founders loved their children the most, and always regarded them not only as the heirs of the family, but also as the continuation of their own business, so they were both children and creations.

It is often unfair and sometimes undesirable, especially for mothers, that parents feel differently about each child.Solomon said it well: "A wise son pleases his father, but a foolish son dishonors his mother."

It can often be seen that in a family full of children, the oldest one or two are valued, the youngest are doted on, and the middle few seem to be forgotten, but in fact they are often the best.It is a pernicious fallacy that parents routinely stingy with their children's money. This makes children obscene, learns to cheat, associates with lowlifes, and causes them to be greedy when they have money.

So people get the best results when it's their kids that they're keeping a close eye on, not their wallets.

Ordinary people have an unwise approach, parents and teachers often do this. This is the creation and encouragement of rivalry among underage brothers, which often sets them at odds with one another in adulthood, and disturbs the family.

Parents should choose those vocations and paths which they see fit for their children in time, when they are most receptive to instruction.Nor should you be too concerned with the inclinations of your children, assuming that what they are most concerned with is what they are best suited to do in the future.Seriously, if children have unusual inclinations or intellects, do not interfere, but in general the following motto is good: "Choose the best, and habit will make him easy and pleasant."

Among brothers, the younger brother is usually lucky, but it is difficult or impossible for the elder brother to be so lucky if he is disinherited.

Smart parents know how to raise and educate their children to fulfill their parental responsibilities.Parents who are well versed in education are undoubtedly good parents.

If parents think that giving their child life is giving him all of life, then this is the misfortune of the child, and even more the sorrow of the parents.Parents treat their children as their own appendages because of their kindness to their children. This is the tragedy of parents.
