A good dad is better than a rich dad

Chapter 35 6 Talking about Collaboration with Friends and Colleagues

Chapter 35 6 Talking about Collaboration with Friends and Colleagues
Few children know what their father does in the company, and few children know how their father accomplishes a thing. It seems that Dad can do whatever he wants, and he is a lone hero.Of course, this is not the case in reality. In society, we all need to cooperate with each other. No matter how powerful an individual is, no one can build a Great Wall. Only when children realize that they must be good at cooperating with others can they have more resources and wealth.

A little boy plays in his toy sandbox.Inside the sandbox are some of his toy cars, a pickup truck, plastic buckets and a shiny plastic shovel. While building roads and tunnels on the soft sand, he found a huge rock in the middle of the sandbox.

The little guy started digging in the sand around the rock, trying to get it out of the silt.He used both hands and feet, and it seemed that without much effort, the rock was pushed and rolled to the edge of the sandbox. That's when he realized, though, that he couldn't roll the rock up and over the sandbox border.

The little boy made up his mind, pushed, shouldered, swayed left and right, and hit the rock again and again. However, every time he felt that he had made some progress, the rock slipped off and fell into the sandbox again.

The little boy had to push and squeeze as hard as he could. But the only reward he got was that the rock rolled back again, hurting his finger. At last, he wept bitterly. The whole process, the boy's father watched clearly from the living room window. When tears rolled down the child's face, the father came to him.

The father's words were gentle but firm: "Son, why don't you use all your strength?"

The dejected little boy sobbed, "But I've given it my all, Daddy, I've given it my all! I've given all my strength!"

"No, son," corrected the father kindly, "you didn't use all your strength. You didn't ask for my help."

Father bent down, picked up the rock, and moved it out of the sandbox.

Teamwork is becoming more and more important in competition, however, every kid these days is very competitive and wants to outdo everyone else. Therefore, they lack a sense of cooperation, lack the basic skills to get along with others, and less altruistic behaviors. This situation is deeply out of tune with the information age we live in, which requires a sense of cooperation, and it is very worrying.

In this regard, while encouraging children to interact with others, fathers should also remind them to learn to cooperate with others. Two people are "cong" and three people are "public". Every family also has limitations. It is impossible to educate a perfect child. If the child does not know how to cooperate, it is also the parents' dereliction of duty.

Cultivating children's cooperative spirit can start from the conversations of fathers. When meeting and chatting with friends, express your gratitude more, "Thanks to your help, I can get this thing done so smoothly", "I am so lucky to have the help of friends like you." When Dad said such words, Children can feel the message of cooperation.

The world of adults and the world of children are not necessarily distinct. For him, fathers often communicate with children about their work, explain complicated things in simple terms, and let children understand some adult ideas and principles. A very precious share.

When the child has any ideas, the father can also promote cooperation, provide conditions for him to organize activities, or encourage him to cooperate with others.Especially performing programs and participating in interest classes allow him to communicate more with children of the same age, listen to other people's opinions, and accept people who are better or worse than himself, which will have many benefits for his future development.
