Chapter 29 Guanyin Temple (recommended ticket)
Xiao Bailong's heart was full of turmoil. How dare the monk on the horseback disrespect the Bodhisattva?
Sniffing, stepping on the horse's hooves, temporarily suppressing the doubts in his heart.

The centaurs and monkeys are on the road, and the monkeys are leading the horses with their burdens on their backs.

The two masters and apprentices traveled westward, the horses ate grass when they were hungry, and Xuanzang ate the seasonal fruits picked by the monkeys.

After walking for about a month, when the sky was getting dark, a Guanyin Temple appeared not far away.

Shrouded in clouds and mist, black tiles and white walls, a pine nut forest outside the courtyard, occasional pavilions and stone tables lined up on both sides of the winding path, the path paved with cobblestones extends to the main road in front of the temple.

The roof of the temple is covered with resplendent colored glaze, and many immortals are carved on the roof ridge, which are lifelike.

The Avalokitesvara Temple is hidden in the deep mountains, and the first-level spacious stone roads are winding and extending to the top of the mountain. On the road, there are monks carrying water. Even in the evening, there are endless streams of pilgrims. They carry baskets, and the baskets are empty. He was walking back, looking very devout.

Along the cobblestone path, on the stone road, before walking to the Buddhist monastery, a sense of nobility rushes over you.

A huge lacquered gold-copper tripod was placed in front of the gate, countless incense sticks were burning, green smoke was lingering, and the smell of aromatherapy permeated for four or five miles.

Two cloud-patterned marble pillars support the dome of the temple gate. The dome is about seven or eight meters high, and it looks extraordinary.

When the welcoming monk in front of the door saw Xuanzang, he couldn't help being stunned, with a look of contempt on his face, just like the eyes of city people looking at country people.

"Where is this monk from?"

Xuanzang didn't answer, turned around and waved to Monkey King, signaling him to throw the burden over.

He took out the brocade cassock from the bag, took the nine-ringed tin staff from Sun Wukong's hand, and put on the Five Buddha Vairocana crown.

Dressed up, he immediately became the most beautiful boy in the field.

The gemstone necklace on the cassock is shining, the nine-ringed tin staff is blooming with silver light, and the red five-Buddha crown is on top, and passers-by stop to watch.

The welcoming monk was also dumbfounded, rubbed his eyes, and put on a respectful look on his face: "Where did this mage come from, please come in quickly, I have already sent someone to invite our old abbot!"

Xuanzang rolled his eyes secretly, the welcoming monk was also a snobbish eye.

The welcoming monk passed Xuanzang's figure and saw Monkey King behind him, and he couldn't help being surprised: "Where did the ugly monk come from, with such little cheeks and so much hair?"

"This is the great apprentice of the poor monk, although it looks weird, but it is useful!" Xuanzang said slowly.

"Then let's come in together. Just leave the horse to the little novice. Naturally, someone will take care of it and feed it!"

The two followed the welcoming monk into the Buddhist monastery. In the main hall of the Avalokitesvara Hall stood a statue of a golden Bodhisattva with a benevolent face.

Xuanzang stepped forward and pretended to bow three times.

Surrounded by luxurious decorations, dotted with gold and silver treasures, bypassing the main hall, it is another world.

Quiet and elegant, with mottled bamboo shadows, green bricks on the floor, and a few chrysanthemums growing in the flower pond.

There is also a bay of Bitan inlaid next to the rockery, where dozens of small red fish swim, often come to the water surface to look for food, and are not afraid of people.

Sun Wukong looked around and said with a smile: "The monks here will enjoy it!"

Soon the two came to the back room, where there was a low table with futons, they arranged to sit down, and then the monk who welcomed guests left.

The waiter monk used a mutton fat jade plate to support a purple-patterned gold-rimmed pottery pot, and served several cups of tea.

The tea leaves spread out like flower buds, and bursts of tea fragrance overflowed.

It's really beautiful in color and durian, and its taste is better than that of sweet-scented osmanthus.

Not long after, two little boys came out tremblingly from behind with the support of an old monk with chicken skin.

The old monk was very old, with age spots all over his skin, but his eyes were piercing, and his attire was extremely luxurious.

Looking at his clothes again, "he wears a Pilu square hat on his head, and the top of the cat's eye stone is shining; A stick embedded in the clouds and stars."

A mouthful of teeth had already fallen out, and a small hump protruded from his back. There was a string of thick Buddhist beads hanging around his neck, and a string of smaller ones was also held in his hand.

A monk shouted at the door: "Master Patriarch is here!"

Xuanzang got up and bowed slightly, saluted, and said: "Amitabha, Xuanzang of the Eastern Tang Dynasty has seen the old celestial master... Oh no, the old master!"

The old monk saw that Xuanzang was full of aura, and before he had time to return the gift, he rushed forward with bright eyes and carefully looked at the cassock Xuanzang was wearing.

The two little boys had never seen Elder Jinchi act like this, they hurriedly followed and supported him.

"Get up, don't help me!"

Elder Jin Chi waved his hand, and his tone was a little impatient, which scared the two children back away in a hurry.

He looked at Xuanzang's colorful cassock without raising his head, and muttered, "What a cassock, what a treasure!"

"Ahem... I'm sorry, the sorcerer is so abrupt!"

He swallowed, and forcibly pulled his eyes out of Xuanzang's cassock, put on a calm look and said: "Amitabha, Lao Natian is the old master of the Guanyin Temple, named Jinchi, I just heard that the little ones It was said that there is a master from the Tang Dynasty in the East, so I got up and came out to see him."

Xuanzang thought to himself: "This old clapper pretends to be the real one, coveting the monk's cassock and pretending not to care!"

Xuanzang did not lose half of his superficial skills, smiled and said apologetically: "Building Baoshan lightly, I don't know what is good or bad, forgive me!"

Elder Jin Chi raised his hands and said hastily: "Don't dare!"

His eyes wandered, looking at the cassock Xuanzang was wearing from time to time, his saliva was about to flow down.

"Master, roughly how far is it from Dongtu to here?" Elder Jin Chi asked with his eyes wide open, tilting his head, as if he was really interested, but he couldn't control himself from looking around.

Xuanzang wanted to laugh when he saw it, it was really embarrassing for this old man, he obviously loves treasures very much, but due to his status, he could only pretend to not look sideways.

"It's more than five thousand miles away from the border of Chang'an; after crossing Liangjie Mountain, I took in a young apprentice and traveled all the way, passing through the country of Xipanha, and it took another five or six thousand miles before I arrived at your place." Xuanzang thought. said recalling.

Hearing this, Elder Jinchi couldn't help sighing, "Based on this, it's still thousands of miles away. My disciple has wasted his whole life and never left the mountain gate. It's true that the so-called sitting in a well and watching the sky is a rotten generation."

"Old master, how old is your life?"

Elder Jinchi heard the words, the joy flashed on his face, but his face sighed: "According to the counting, it is already 270 years old."

Xuanzang was surprised, "How many lifespans do ordinary people have?"

"I'm lucky to have obtained the treasure pill. If there is no disaster, it will naturally have a long life." Elder Jin Chi raised his brows, and his expression seemed to be quite complacent.

Monkey King laughed loudly when he heard the words, and said to himself: "At this age, he is still my grandson for thousands of generations!"

Xuanzang laughed from the bottom of his heart when he heard the words, this Monkey King is indeed much older than the old monk, but it is a bit too much to say that he is a grandson of all generations.

However, Xuanzang found it interesting to be able to scratch this old clapper.

"Wukong, don't be rude!"

Although it was a restraint, there was encouragement in his eyes. Monkey King understood immediately at a glance, and smiled teasingly while covering his mouth.

My master cut open the inside, and the cliff is black.

The monk next to him asked angrily: "This monk talks like this, so how old are you?"

Monkey King jumped in front of the crowd, twitched his fingers inexplicably and said: "If you count the different days in the sky and the earth, your grandpa and I are now over 1000 years old!"

The attendant monk was shocked, "What kind of crazy words are you talking about? How can people live so long!"

"Damn! If you don't believe me, you won't be able to find out who my old grandson is!"

Xuanzang waved his hand at this moment, signaling Sun Wukong to shut up, but the Elder Jinchi said in surprise: "Master Xuanzang, is your apprentice telling the truth?"
