Chapter 19

Dearest Daddy-Long-Legs:
Last night, I sat on the hospital bed and looked at the rainy scene outside the window, and I had a strong feeling in my heart-life is really boring. The nurse handed me a big white box filled with bright roses. What makes me even more happy is that there is also an elegantly worded note inside, with a characterful left italic font that climbs up little by little.Thank you, uncle, a thousand thanks.Your flowers made me feel life so real for the first time, and it was presented so clearly in front of me for the first time.I was so happy that I lay down and cried like a child.

Now I can assure you that you read my letter.I'll write more interesting ones later, so it's worth tying red ribbons in a safe--but first find that dreadful letter and burn it.I really don't want you to see it again.

Thank you for cheering up a sick, grumpy and sad freshman.Maybe you have so many dear family members or friends that you don't know what it's like to be alone, but I feel it all too well.

Good night.I promise I will never talk nonsense again, because now I know that you are indeed a real person, and I will not bother you with inexplicable questions anymore.

Don't you like girls?

Your eternal Judy is in the hospital
