Chapter 10 Heart Sutra (2)
③The four sentences of "no ignorance": "wu" is used as the explanation of emptiness (that is, ignorance and emptiness, even old age and death). "End" means to end. The word "even" is a super-simplified word, which omits the formation, consciousness, name and form, six entrances, contact, feeling, love, grasping, existence, and birth among the twelve causal conditions, and only ignorance, old age and death are examples. The twelve causes and conditions include: (1) Ignorance, that is, ignorance, which is the general term for all troubles. There is nothing clear about the emptiness of dependent origination, and thus all attachments are falsely born, which is called ignorance. (2) Action is to create righteousness, which refers to all actions, that is, good and evil karma created according to ignorance. (3) Consciousness is the consciousness of karma. This consciousness receives retribution along with karma, is driven by past karma, and takes the seeds of good and evil created to reincarnate. (4) name and form, the name refers to the mind, and the form refers to the body.Because of the thought of love dyeing into the mother's body, it is named, and after it is conceived, it becomes color. The so-called mind and matter are combined to form a fetus, and the initial formation of the fetal phase is called name and form. (5) The six entries are the six faculties. In the middle of the tenth month of the mother's womb, it gradually grows from name and form to the completeness of the six sense organs. After birth, it has the effect of interfering with the six dusts, so it is called the six entrances. (6) Touch is touch.Roots and dust combine to form contact.Point out the contact between the six organs behind the fetus and all external environments. (7) Receive as soon as you accept. The root state is opposite to the two states of disobedience, and the two feelings of suffering and happiness arise, which are called feelings, which is an emotion aroused by the object. (8) Love is craving. For the five dusts of desire, the heart is greedy, which is a kind of greed for the object. (9) To take is to take indiscriminately, to pursue. When encountering a happy state that one likes, one will always be greedy, and one must do one's best to obtain it, and when one encounters a miserable state that one hates, one will be obsessed with it, and one must do everything possible to try to let go of it. This is a kind of love and lust. Seek. (10) There is employment. That is to say, there is cause and effect, from the previous cause (love to acquire), the subsequent result (birth, old age and death), the traction of karma, and the immortality of cause and effect, it has evolved into the fact of reincarnation in the three realms. This is a kind of regulation of the work force feeling report. (11) To be born is to be born.Taking the karma created now as the cause, and depending on the cause and effect, it will inevitably lead to rebirth in the next life. This is an activity that will be rewarded in the future. (12) Old age and death are old age and death. The decay of the faculties is called aging, and the decay of the body is called death. One cannot live without death, and the body of the four elements will naturally grow from young to old, and the change of impermanence will inevitably lead to death, which is a result of future retribution. Both ignorance and behavior are past causes, consciousness, name and form, six entrances, contact, and feelings, and these five are present results.Love, grasping, and possession are the present causes, and birth, old age and death are the future effects. The previous cause, the present effect, the present cause and the effect, such as tossing and turning depending on the cause and then feeling the effect, and recreating the cause on the fruit, the cause and effect are not ambiguous, the front and back are continuous, and the cycle of life and death is endless. If we follow the trend of life and death, we will walk without the karma of ignorance, and even the karma of life and death, so we will experience life and death forever. This is called the gate of revolving. On the contrary, if one can go against the trend of life and death, then ignorance will cease, and even old age and death will cease, so one will be liberated, that is, the door will be destroyed.Liberation is to have prajna wisdom. With prajna wisdom, there will be no ignorance (ignorance), and there will be no wrong behaviors (rows). If there are no bad behaviors, there will be no bad potential (seed ) follow the flow of consciousness, and even there will be no five aggregates, six sense organs, contact, feeling, love, grasping, existence, birth, old age and death, etc. This is the liberation of the world. In emptiness, there is no real being that circulates between life and death, and there is no real being that is liberated in nirvana, so it is said that "there is no ignorance, nor the end of ignorance, and even no aging and death, nor the end of old age and death".

④ Suffering, settling, extinction, and Tao: Suffering, settling, extinction, and Tao are the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism. After the Buddha became enlightened, he went to Luyeyuan to speak for the five sages for the first time, which was the beginning of the Buddha's turning of the Dharma wheel, so it is called the first turning of the Dharma wheel. The content of this discourse is the teaching of the Four Noble Truths. So the Four Noble Truths are the Dharma that Shakyamuni first spoke of.Truth refers to the meaning of judging reality and truth, which refers to the four correct and infallible truths of suffering, origin, extinction, and Tao.These four are true and true, so they are called the Four Noble Truths and the Four Noble Truths; and these four are known and seen by the saints, so they are called the Four Noble Truths.Suffering is the Noble Truth of Suffering. It refers to the saint who truthfully examines the bitter fruit of the leaks in the three realms (the world of sentient beings and utensils). For ordinary people, all phenomena in real life (with outflows) can be said to be suffering. The four sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death, plus the four sufferings of meeting hatred and hatred, parting from love, not getting what one wants, and the five aggregates of grasping, are the eight sufferings.Set is the collection of the holy truth, and it is also called the study of the truth, the hard study of the holy truth, the suffering of the collection of truth and so on.Set is to set up, and it has the meaning of reason and reason, that is, it refers to the reason for the collection of things. It is also about the reason why all beings in the world sink into life and death and suffer the fruit of suffering. The root of suffering is craving, and because of craving, "afterlife" and "afterlife" are formed. The core of craving is the illusory self-view arising from ignorance. If there is craving, there will be samsara.Extinction is the Noble Truth of extinction, and it is also known as the Noble Truth of the cessation of suffering, the Noble Truth of the end of suffering, the Noble Truth of the cessation of suffering, the Noble Truth of the cessation of love and so on.The meaning of extinction, extinction, and extinguishment. It refers to the root of cessation of suffering, that is, to permanently cut off all afflictions such as ignorance, desire and love, and to obtain liberation and freedom from continuous suffering; that is, the state of Nirvana. The Tao is the Noble Truth of the Way, the Noble Truth of the Way to the End of Suffering, the Noble Truth of the Way to the End of Suffering, and the Essential Truth of the Origin of Suffering, etc., which refer to the elimination of afflictions. The method of practicing according to the realm of the cessation of suffering is divided into eight parts and becomes the sacred Noble Eightfold Path. The so-called Eightfold Path is Right View, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration.Among them, suffering and origin represent the fruit and cause of the delusional world, while extinction and Tao represent the fruit and cause of enlightening the world; that is, the fruit of the world's leaks is the truth of suffering, the world's leaks are the cause of the truth, and the world's leaks are the fruit of the world. The truth of extinction is the truth of the Tao because of the absence of omissions in the world.

⑤ There is no gain without wisdom: "wisdom" is "prajna", that is, wisdom and the wonderful wisdom of knowing. "Wisdom" is the heart that can seek; "get" is the attained Buddhahood or the realm sought. The wisdom of being able to empty all dharmas and the emptiness of dharmas obtained by emptiness wisdom, both cannot be obtained, even if there is no wisdom and no attainment. Here is to explain the bodhisattva's practice (wisdom) certification (acquisition), one should leave the appearance without abiding, that is, not follow the practice of the practice, nor obtain the fruit of the certification. The "wisdom" that can be observed again and again, and the "fantasy" that is obtained, are still a kind of dharma, and they have not met the wonderful meaning of prajna vacuum, so they must be empty. In fact, there is nothing to practice with prajna contemplation, so there is nothing to prove. Therefore, if you do not see the great wisdom of knowledge, you will not have the fruit you have attained. If you seek it with the heart of gain, it is no longer a vacuum.

Translation
Therefore, from a fundamental point of view, there is no material color, no feeling, imagination, will and consciousness in this space; there is no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body and mind as the basis for cognitive activities, nor is there the six cognitive faculties. There is no object of sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, and there is no eye root of sight, and even no sense root of other worlds; there is also no six kinds of consciousness as cognition. There is no ignorance, nor extinction of ignorance, nor even old age and death, nor extinction of old age and death. That is to say, there is no sacred religious practice process of knowing suffering, breaking down, cultivating the Tao, and proving extinction; there is no fundamental prajna wisdom, and there is no Buddhahood or the realm sought by relying on this wisdom.

Original
Because there is no gain, Bodhisattva ①, according to Prajna Paramita, there is no hindrance to the heart ②.No hindrance, no fear.Stay away from reversing dreams ③, and finally Nirvana ④.The Buddhas of the third age ⑤, according to Prajna Paramita, have obtained Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi ⑥.

注释
① Bodhisattva: Bodhisattva, also known as Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva, Mahabodhi Zhidi Sadu, etc.Freely translated as Dao sentient beings, Dao Xin sentient beings, Dajue sentient beings, Jue sentient beings, etc., also translated as Kaishi, Shishi, Gaoshi, Dashi, etc. "Bodhi" means enlightenment, wisdom, and Tao; "Sattva" means sentient beings and sentient beings.Bodhisattvas have two tasks: seeking Bodhi (self-interest) and transforming sentient beings (altruism). Therefore, Bodhisattva means to seek the supreme Bodhi with wisdom, to transform all living beings with compassion, to practice all paramita, and to become a Buddha with great heart in the future. That is to say, those who are self-interested and altruistic, and who are brave enough to seek Bodhi. The deeds practiced by bodhisattvas are called bodhisattva deeds.

②Hanging: "Hanging" means being concerned or being covered by a net. It is a metaphor for ignorance and troubles covering the heart, such as being caught in a net and not being free; "Handling" means hindering or hindering. Perseverance blocks the right path and prevents you from moving forward. It means that due to the obstruction of ignorance such as material desires, one cannot be free.

③ Stay away from upside-down dreams: It means to be free from the upside-down and dreams that make people sad and distressed forever. "Upside down" means that sentient beings regard the phenomenon of karma and condition as real. "Dream" refers to the fantasy in a dream, which is a kind of falsehood. All dreams are illusions, not reality, and the dreamer mistakenly thinks it is real.Ordinary people are ignorant and deluded by ignorance, so they produce upside-down attachments, create evil karma, and continue the cycle of life and death. All living beings should contemplate with prajna, free themselves from ignorance, and let the reality appear, just like waking up from a dream, which means staying away from upside-down dreams.

④ Nirvana: Also known as Nihuan, Niyue, Nirvana, Nirvana, Nafunan, Nifunan, etc.The free translation is extinction, extinction, extinction, ji, no life, etc.In the original language application in India, it refers to the extinguishment of the fire or the blowing of the wind, such as the extinguishment of the lamp, which is called "lamp flame nirvana".Other religions in India have long adopted this term as the highest ideal state, and it is not a term exclusive to Buddhism. As soon as the term Wei appeared in Buddhist scriptures, it gave it new content, and it has almost become a unique and solemn term of Buddhism.Nirvana has the meaning of "elimination", which refers to the elimination of afflictions and disasters. This shows that extinction is righteousness of eliminating afflictions and sufferings; when afflictions and sufferings are eliminated, there will be a state of tranquility, stability, and happiness.Master Xuanzang translated Nirvana as "passed away".Having all the blessings and wisdom is called "roundness"; being away from all troubles and life and death is called "silence".That is to say, both blessings and wisdom have reached perfection (circle), three confusions and afflictions are completely eliminated, and life and death are completely liberated (silence). There are two kinds of Nirvana: one with residual Nirvana, and the other without residual Nirvana. The body attachments of the former roots still exist, you have to eat when you are hungry, you have to wear clothes when you are cold, and you will get sick when the four elements are out of balance. The heart of attachment to love and hate, but the residual body still exists, so it is called surplus Nirvana. As for the difference between Wuyu Nirvana and the former, it is that the life span is over, the physical body is destroyed, the current traction of the body and mind has been cut off, and the future has reached the state of being ashamed of the body and mind.

⑤ Buddhas of the Three Times: "Three Times" refers to the past, present, and future, and here contains the meaning of "Three Times in Ten Directions".The Buddhas of the three times collectively refer to all the Buddhas in the universe; they refer to all the Buddhas of the three times. That is, the past, present, and future Buddhas of the ten directions and three times. Therefore, he became all the Buddhas, the Buddhas of the ten directions, and the Buddhas of the Three Times. At the time when Buddhism was established, Shakyamuni Buddha was called the present Buddha, all the Buddhas before Shakyamuni Buddha were called the past Buddhas, and those who became Buddhas after Shakyamuni Buddha were called the future Buddhas.

⑥Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi: abbreviated as Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, Anutatara-sambodhi, etc. "Anuttara" is free translated as "Supreme", which means that the enlightened Tao is supreme, and "Samyak San Bodhi" is free translated as "right and omniscient", which means that the enlightened Tao is all-encompassing and all-encompassing.Therefore, "Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi" can be translated as "Supreme Enlightenment", which is the wisdom realized by the Buddha, and it is the supreme wisdom that truly perceives all truths equally. The Buddha freed himself from all wrong views and obsessions, achieved supreme wisdom, fully realized the ultimate truth, and taught all sentient beings equally so that they could reach the highest and pure Nirvana. In addition, it is also transliterated as "Anuttara Sanyak San Buddha", which means that the person who has achieved Anuttara Sanyak San Bodhi is the honorary title of Buddha.

Translation
Since there is no proven result, the Bodhisattva relies on the wonderful method of Prajna Paramita to practice, and there is no longer any worries and obstacles.Because there is no hindrance, there is no more fear.So far away from the inversion and illusion about all things, and reached the ultimate nirvana. All the Buddhas and World Honored Ones of the ten directions and three generations also rely on the wonderful method of Prajna Paramita to practice in this way, and they have achieved the supreme enlightenment and perfect Buddhahood.

Original
Therefore, we know that Prajna Paramita is a great deity mantra, a great Ming mantra, an infinite mantra, and an infinite mantra, which can get rid of all suffering and is true and true.

注释
① Five sentences of "old knowledge": This paragraph praises the function of Prajna. The word "old knowledge" summarizes the functions of Prajna mentioned above and arouses the benefits of Prajna mentioned later. That is to say, because of Prajna Paramita, it is possible to get rid of the suffering of life and death, and get rid of the troubles and demons, so "it is a great curse, a great curse, a supreme curse, and an infinite curse."The mantra, the original wish, is a secret phrase that is recited when praying to the gods to make enemies suffer disasters, or to get rid of disasters and pray for benefits. There are mantras in ancient Indian Veda. This refers to mantra secret mantra, also known as mantra, secret mantra or mantra, which means the secret language of special spiritual power that cannot be explained in words. The mantra is also called "Total Hold", transliterated as "Dharani", which refers to the ability to "always hold" all good laws so that they will not be lost, and "total hold" all evil laws to prevent them from arising.Mantra is a powerful language, which can achieve the fact that evil is eliminated and good is produced. There are good mantras and evil mantras. It is a good curse if you curse others for illness or to protect yourself; it is a bad curse to curse others to make people suffer from disasters. The Buddha forbade the practice of such mantras to make a living, but allowed the reciting of mantras for healing or protection. The "Great God Mantra" means that the wisdom of Prajna has great power, and God has the meaning of wonderful power, which can make the recipients drive away the demons of troubles and escape the suffering of life and death. The "Daming Mantra" means that Prajna wisdom has great light, which is unobstructed, just like the sun shining on the world. It can illuminate everything is empty, so that those who are held can get rid of doubts and ignorance, and see ignorance and falsehood. The "Supreme Mantra" means that the wisdom of Prajna can make those who hold it go straight to the Supreme Nirvana. There is no law in the world that can come out of it. If you practice according to this, you can prove the supreme Buddha fruit; "Etc. Mantra" means that the wisdom of Prajna can make the recipient achieve the supreme Bodhi. Nothing can be equal to it.Practicing the Prajna method, one can be carefree, not only understand one's mind and see one's nature, but also can prove Buddhahood and eliminate all sufferings and disasters suffered by all sentient beings. Therefore, the Prajna method is "true and not false".

Translation
Therefore, knowing that Prajna Paramita is a mantra of great divine power, a mantra with great light, a mantra of the highest order, and an absolutely incomparable mantra, it can relieve the suffering of all sentient beings in the world, This is a real fact.

Original
So sayPrajna ParamitaThat is to say, cursing:

Jiedi, Jiedi, Polo Jiedi, Parasangha Jiedi, Bodhisattva ①.

注释
① "Jie Di" Pentecost: This is a Sanskrit mantra. In the front of this sutra, starting from "Guanzi Bodhisattva" and ending with "True and True", it is the explanatory prajna, and this mantra is the esoteric prajna. "Jiedi" has the meaning of "going" or "saving", which is the profound function of Prajna, which can save all living beings to go to the other shore; repeating the word "Jiedi" is nothing more than expressing the meaning of saving oneself and saving others . "Polo" can be translated as "the other shore"; "Polo Jiedi" means "going to the other shore".As for the "sangha" in "Sangjiedi", it refers to "public", "general" or "universal", etc., then "Polo Sanghadi" means "to save everyone and go to the other side together". "Bodhi" is translated as "consciousness", "wisdom", "knowledge" and "Tao", that is, the supreme Buddha fruit. "Savaha" has the meaning of "quick disease", which means that according to this mantra, one can quickly achieve great enlightenment and achieve the supreme Bodhi.Because the incantation has its special meaning, the incantation is five unrepeatable secrets.

Translation
Therefore, to proclaim the total holding method of Prajna Paramita here is to proclaim the following mantra:
Jiedi, Jiedi, Polo Jiedi, Parasangha Jiedi, Bodhi Savaha.
