In 1872, he retired and entered the Navy Department.

In 1880, he published "Suet Ball" and became famous in one fell swoop.

In 1881, he resigned from his job; published "A Family", "On a Spring Night", and "Dai Liye Spring Tower".

In 1882, published "Miss Fifi", "A Son", "The Woman Who Repaired the Soft Chair", "Pierrot the Dog", "A Norman", "Moonlight", and "The Will".

In 1883, published "Riding a Horse", "At Sea", "My Uncle Yule", "Papa Myron", "Two Friends", "The Medal I Got", "Rope"; published "Life".

In 1884, published "Burning Umbrella", "Necklace", "Happiness", "Inheritance", "Wardrobe" and so on.

In 1885, "Beautiful Friends" was published.

In 1886, "Miss Pearl" was published; "Hot Spring" was published.

In 1887, "The Tramp" was published; "Pierre and Jean" was published.

In 1889, "Port" was published; "Strong as Death" was published.

In 1890, published "Olive Garden"; published "Our Heart".

In 1891, due to illness, he stopped creating.

On July 1893, 7, he suffered a mental illness and died.
