The Bodhisattva said he wanted to leave, but Taizong was not happy!Looking at the Bodhisattva, he said: "You originally said that the cassock was five thousand and the tin staff two thousand, but now I want to buy it, but you don't want the money. Let others know, and don't you say that I can't take your things by force in accordance with the throne?"

Seeing Taizong, the Bodhisattva explained: "That's not the case! In fact, the poor monk said before that as long as people respect this Buddha treasure, the poor monk will not take a penny! What's more, His Majesty still gave these two Buddha treasures to the great virtue of the Buddha. What about the person?"

Hearing what the Bodhisattva said, Taizong didn't care about it, but Taizong also felt that the Bodhisattva was not bad, so he planned to ask someone to prepare a fast meal and treat the Bodhisattva well, but the Bodhisattva still didn't accept it, and left the palace with Mu Zha and returned to the Earth Temple !

Bodhisattva is gone!Taizong saw that it was noon time, so he asked Wei Zheng to call Xuanzang to see him.After hearing this, Wei Zheng rushed to Huasheng Temple and told Xuanzang's will.

When Xuanzang heard the emperor's imperial decree calling him for an audience, he dared not neglect, and followed Wei Zheng into the palace.

When Taizong saw Xuanzang, he said with a smile: "I have to thank the master for the water and land meeting. I have nothing to reward, but now I have got two Buddhist treasures, which are just for the master!"

After speaking, a maid took out cassock and tin staff.Xuanzang saw that the cassock and tin staff were not ordinary things, but Xuanzang did not refuse, and with the help of the maid, he put on the cassock and picked up the tin staff.Suddenly the whole person changed a lot.It looks more like a Buddhist virtue.The officials who watched the hall cheered Xuanzang in unison.

Seeing how Xuanzang wore the cassock and picked up the tin staff, Taizong also joined in the fun and sent two teams of guards to escort Xuanzang back to the temple.However, Xuanzang was required to parade through the streets as if he had won a prize.Xuanzang couldn't refuse Taizong, so he had to agree.When Xuanzang returned to Huasheng Temple, everyone in the temple saw Xuanzang wearing cassock and holding a tin staff like a son of Buddha. Immediately, all the monks in the temple had a sense of respect for Xuanzang, and Xuanzang was also there. Inadvertently subdued the monks of Huasheng Temple.

Time flies, and I don’t realize that it is the seventh day Xuanzang said. On this day, Xuanzang was sitting on the altar and was talking about "Shousheng crossing death" for a while, talking about "An Bang Tian Bao Zhuan" for a while, and proclaiming "Persuasion" for a while. "Xiu Gong Juan" was a formal meeting on this day, so Taizong brought many courtiers, guards, concubines, etc. to the scene!He sat quietly in his seat and listened to Xuanzang's explanation.

Just when Xuanzang talked about the wonderful things, everyone was fascinated by it.Monk Laitou, the incarnation of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, suddenly walked under Xuanzang's altar and said to Xuanzang, "Then monk, you are talking about 'Hinayana Buddhism', but do you know 'Mahayana Buddhism'?"

When Xuanzang reached a critical point in his teaching, when he heard someone interrupt, an ordinary person would be furious!But Xuanzang is not an ordinary person. When he heard that his teaching was interrupted, not only was he not unhappy, but he jumped down from the altar and said to the Bodhisattva happily: "Master, father, you are very polite! All the monks before Gein are talking about "Hinayana." Dharma', but disciples don't know 'Mahayana Buddhism'."

The Bodhisattva said: "You, the Hinayana Dharma, can't transcend the dead, you can only be with the light. I have the Tripitaka of the Mahayana Dharma, which can transcend the dead to ascend to heaven, save people from suffering, cultivate the body of infinity, and do things that come and go without coming."

While the Bodhisattva was talking, the inspector rushed to Emperor Taizong: "Your Majesty, the mage was talking about the wondrous Dharma, and suddenly he was pulled down by two monks who relied on his head to talk nonsense?"

Taizong heard that someone was messing up the water and land meeting, so he ordered people to arrest the two lay monks.After a while, the soldiers brought Bodhisattva and Mu Zha to Taizong.

When the Bodhisattva came to Taizong, he neither saw the ceremony nor worshiped.Instead, he asked Taizong, "Why did Your Majesty ask me?"

Taizong recognized the Bodhisattva when he was sent up, so he asked, "Since you have come here, why do you disturb the Buddhist hall and miss my Buddhist affairs?"

The Bodhisattva was not surprised when he heard Taizong's words, but replied calmly: "Your Majesty, your mage only taught the Hinayana Dharma, and the dead cannot ascend to heaven. Today I have the Tripitaka of Mahayana Dharma, which can save death from suffering, and live without damage. .”

Hearing this, Taizong moved his face and said, "Where is your Mahayana Buddhism?"

The Bodhisattva said: "In the Daleiyin Temple of the Great Western Tianzhu Kingdom, I, the Buddha Tathagata, can untie the knots of a hundred grievances and eliminate innocent disasters."

When the Bodhisattva said that the Buddhadharma was in the Western Tianzhu Kingdom, he showed a disappointed expression, and then asked the Bodhisattva in front of him: "Do you remember?" "Also invite the master to give lectures on the Dharma altar! As long as the master finishes teaching Mahayana Buddhism, I can only thank you very much!"

When the Bodhisattva heard what Taizong said, he didn't show any expression. Instead, he took Mu Zha and flew over the altar. After a while, he flew over the altar and flew to the nine heavens, revealing the real body of the Bodhisattva.

When Taizong saw the Bodhisattva showing his true body, he was surprised at first, and then overjoyed.Taizong was surprised that the bodhisattva turned out to be the former monk, and quickly recalled to see if he had offended the bodhisattva, but he was delighted that he actually saw the real body of the bodhisattva.

The Bodhisattva also ignored the attitudes of Taizong people below towards him, just waved his hand, and a post fell from the sky.As soon as the post fell, someone picked it up and sent it to Taizong.Taizong looked at the post and saw a few eulogies written on it: "Greetings to the Lord of the Tang Dynasty, there are wonderful writings in the west. The journey is one hundred and eight thousand miles, and the Mahayana is diligent. When this scripture returns to the kingdom of Shang, it can surpass ghosts and go out of the crowd." .If anyone is willing to go, seek the golden body of the true fruit.”

Taizong got the post and saw the above words, thought for a while, and said to the people around him: "Who will lead me to the west to seek the scriptures?"

Before Taizong finished speaking, a person appeared beside him and said to Taizong: "Your Majesty, the poor monk is not talented. I would like to work like a dog and a horse to go to the west to obtain the scriptures for Your Majesty. I will protect my Tang Dynasty forever!"

Hearing Xuanzang's words, Emperor Taizong was overjoyed, and immediately stepped forward to help Xuanzang up, and said: "Master, if you can do this kind of loyalty, you are not afraid of long journeys and trekking mountains and rivers. I am willing to worship you as a brother." Hearing Taizong Xuanzang would not be able to say anything, so he could only accept the decree to thank him.Taizong did not delay, and became brothers of the opposite sex with Xuanzang on the spot, and he called him "the emperor's younger brother, the holy monk".After making obeisance with Master Xuanzang, Emperor Taizong was going to return to the palace, and he would send out a dish to go out on auspicious days.

The next day, in the early court of Emperor Taizong, he wrote the scripture collection document and used Tongxing Baoyin.Then he took out a purple gold bowl and said to Xuanzang, "Brother Yu, today is a good day to travel, and I will see you off here as a brother!" Then Taizong asked Xuanzang if he had a nickname, and Xuanzang replied No, so Taizong helped him take another nickname called "Sanzang".

Just when Taizong was about to see Xuanzang off, a voice suddenly shouted: "Wait a minute, King Tang!"

Everyone present was shocked when they heard this voice, it was the one who was so bold that he called the emperor!Thinking that all the people in the hall looked towards the place where the sound came from.
