Changshui Village Farming Notes

Chapter 18 Changshui Village

Chapter 18 Changshui Village

Haicheng City is neither a commercial city nor a traditional heavy industry, but a small city that relies on fishing and agriculture.

Gu Kuangyun's home is in Changshui Village under Qingyang Town, Hede County under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City.

Qingyang Town is the most remote town in Hede County, and Changshui Village is the most marginal village in Qingyang Town.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, it is the only village in Qingyang Town that faces the sea. Changshui Village is surrounded by continuous mountain peaks.

Due to the rugged mountain roads, planting is not easy, and these mountains do not have much output.

The government has included several large mountains in the vicinity within the scope of Changshui Village, which can be regarded as the largest village in the vicinity.

Because this place is called Qingyang Town, these connected peaks are also called Qingyang Mountains.

The peaks of the entire Qingyang Mountains are not high, generally at an altitude of 500 meters.

Behind Gu Kuangyun's house is the highest peak in the entire Qingyang Mountains, which is only about 600 meters high.

The vegetation on the mountain is dense, and there are quite a lot of wild fungi and wild fruits.

When Gu Kuangyun was young, her favorite entertainment was going up the mountain to hunt for treasures with her father. Normally, her father would be able to find a lot of delicious food for her.

On one side of the Qingyang Mountains is half of Qingyang Town. The fields here are flat and fertile, so 90.00% of the people in the town live here. On the other side of the Qingyang Mountains is Changshui Village.

Although there is land in the village, it is not neat and tidy, and the output is not high.

In the 70s and [-]s, relying on these fields alone, many people in the village could not have enough to eat, and many people died of starvation. Later, the remaining people were so hungry that they built many terraced fields on the mountain.

They planted some coarse grains such as corn and sweet potatoes, and barely supported a whole village.

Fortunately, over the years, the output of many agricultural products on the market has greatly increased, and some people will go out to work, and everyone's life can be counted.

Only three or four miles further in, you can see a moon-like bay.

And the entire Qingyang Mountain Range is also like a miracle, running north-south, stretching for tens of miles, distributed along the bay, firmly embracing Changshui Village in this semi-circular bay.

The sea breeze blows the waves and beats the sea water on the beach. A little further away, there are some towering reefs standing in the sea.

If you look closely, you can still see some villagers who came out to catch the sea.

And farther away is the vast and boundless sea.

Therefore, since ancient times, people in Changshui Village have not only relied on farming, but also relied on catching some fish in the sea and selling them to the town to maintain their family's livelihood.

When she returned to her hometown this time, her thoughts were completely different from before.

The closer she got to the village, the more cordial she looked at everything. She just felt as if she hadn't come back after a century, and she missed everything about her hometown.

Through the only asphalt road that connects the village with the outside world, after driving through a valley mouth, it enters the scope of Changshui Village.

For a while, the air became different from that in Qingyang Town, it became more humid, and there was a faint smell of sea water in the nostrils.

Smelling this smell, Gu Kuangyun not only didn't feel uncomfortable, but became more friendly. She grew up in this environment since she was a child.

The families of the entire Changshui Village are distributed along the bay, with the Qingyang Mountains in their backs.

It's officially entering the second part, please add a lot of favorites, if you can vote for some recommendations!thanks
