Chapter 4

For this new friend, it took me a long time to figure out where he came from. The little prince asked me a lot of questions, but he never answered my questions.I could only guess slowly from what he said inadvertently, and finally figured out where he came from.

Like, the first time he saw my plane, he asked me, "What's this?"

"This is my plane, it can fly." I proudly told him that I could fly in the sky with this thing. He looked at me in amazement and said, "Did you fall from the sky?"

"Yes." I said modestly.

"That's ridiculous." The little prince let out a crisp laugh.

I saw the little prince who smiled happily and felt that I was being laughed at by him. This incident made me feel very unhappy. I explained my situation to him.I said my plane was broken, I only had a little water, I might die in this big desert, and asked him not to laugh at me when I was very unlucky.

After that, the little prince put away his smile and started to ask me again: "You are also from the sky, which planet are you from?"

After I heard it, I made some discoveries about where he came from, and I asked him again: "Are you from another planet?"

But he didn't answer my question, he nodded while looking at my plane curiously, "Isn't that right, you can't come from far away just by taking this thing." After finishing speaking, he was silent down. Then, he took out the lamb I drew for him from his pocket, and looked at it fascinated.

You can imagine my curiosity about this "other planet".I want to know more about the secrets of this "other planet".

"Where do you come from, little friend? Where is your home? Where are you taking my lamb?"

He pondered for a while, and then answered me: "Fortunately, there is the box you gave me. I can use it as a house for the lamb at night."

"Of course, if you are obedient, I will give you another rope, and you can tie him up during the day."

"Why should I tie up the lamb? It's very strange." My suggestion seemed to revolt the little prince.

"If you don't tie him up, he'll run around and get lost."

The little prince laughed: "Where do you think it will go?"

"No matter where it goes, it will definitely run around."

The little prince looked at me, "I live in a very small place, it doesn't matter. Even if it keeps running around or going somewhere, it won't go very far."

I looked at the little prince, who was looking at the sky at this time, looking a little sad.
