Saints and sages can be tamed.

Don't be unreasonable in your words, and don't act recklessly in your actions. This is a big taboo for literati; don't spoil and give up. Noble morals and outstanding talents can be cultivated slowly.

During the Southern Dynasties, there lived a man named Gu Huan.He was born in a humble and poor family, but he loved reading very much since he was a child.Because the family was poor and had no money for him to go to school, he was asked to go to the fields to do some farm work within his ability whenever the farming was busy.Once, his father sent him to the field to guard the crops that were about to mature, so as to prevent the sparrows from stealing food. Unexpectedly, Gu Huan became so poetic that he wrote "Ode to Sparrows" on the field. Most of the sparrows were eaten.When his father found out, he was very angry and wanted to beat him. When he saw Gu Huan's "Ode to the Sparrow", his anger subsided.There was a school in the village, but Gu Huan couldn't study inside, so he stood outside the school's wall and eavesdropped.

When he was ten years old, he went to Yuzhang County to seek advice from Lei Ciding, a famous scholar at that time, and worked hard to study the meaning of the Five Classics. Later, he finally succeeded and became a well-known university student at that time.

If you have enough energy, you can learn literature.

Parents call, do not delay; parents do not be lazy.

Parents teach, you must listen carefully; parents take responsibility, you must obey.

In winter it is warm, in summer it is clear;

If you go out, you must tell, but if you go back, you must face it; there is permanence in residence, and there is no change in karma.

Although the matter is small, don't do it arrogantly;

Although the things are small, don't hide them privately;

If you love what you like, you can use your strength;

Injuries in the body bring troubles to relatives; wounds in virtue bring shame to relatives.

Dear me, how difficult is filial piety; hate me, filial piety.

If you have a relative, you will be remonstrated; if you like my color, you will soften my voice.

If you don't remonstrate, you will remonstrate with Yue; if you cry, you will not complain.

If you are sick, try the medicine first; serve you day and night, never leave the bed.

After three years of mourning, I often swallow sadly; the place of residence changes, and the wine and meat are cut off.

The funeral ceremony is complete, and the sacrifice is sincere; the dead are treated like living ones.

Brothers and Dao friends, brothers are respectful; brothers are harmonious, filial piety is in the middle.

Light wealth, no resentment; forbearance, self-confidence.

Or eat and drink, or sit and walk; the elders come first, and the younger ones follow.

If you call for a long time, you will call on your behalf; if the person is not there, you will arrive immediately.

When addressing an elder, don't call him by his name; to an elder, don't show ability.

If the road is long, you will bow quickly; if you are speechless, you will retreat and stand respectfully.

Get off the horse, get off the chariot; wait for a while, more than a hundred steps.

When the elders stand, the young should not sit; when the elders sit, it is their destiny to sit.

In front of the elder, the voice should be low; low and low, but unsuitable.

Advance is bound to move, and retreat must be late; ask right, but don't move.

The father is like the father; the brother is like the brother.

Three, sincerely and faithfully
Get up early in the morning and sleep late at night; it's easy to get old, but it's a pity at this time.

In the morning, you must wash your hands and rinse your mouth; when you urinate back, you always clean your hands.

The crown must be straight, the button must be knotted; socks and shoes must be tight.

Putting on the crown and clothing has a certain position; don't mess it up, causing filth.

Clothing is expensive and clean, not expensive;

When it comes to food, don't pick and choose;

Don’t drink alcohol when you’re younger; drinking drunk is the ugliest.

Step calmly, stand upright; bow deep and round, bow respectfully.

Don't trample on the threshold, don't limp and lean on;

Open the curtain slowly without making a sound; make a wide turn without touching the edges.

Holding an empty vessel is like holding a surplus; entering an empty room is like having a person.

Don't be busy with things, you will make mistakes when you are busy; don't be afraid of difficulties, and don't take things lightly.

Don't get close to the fighting field; don't ask about evil things.

When you enter the door, ask who is there; when you go to the hall, your voice must be raised.

When people ask who they are, they answer by name; I and I are not clear.

When using characters, you must ask clearly; if you don't ask, it is stealing.

When borrowing someone, return it promptly; if someone borrows something, don't be stingy.

Wherever you speak, trust is the first priority; deceit and deceit, Xi Keyan!

It's better to talk too much than less; but it's true, don't be tricky.

Harsh language, filthy words; city atmosphere, refrain from it.

If you see it is not true, don't talk lightly; if you know it, don't pass it lightly.

Right and wrong, don't make promises lightly; respect light promises, advance and retreat wrongly.

Fandao characters are heavy and comfortable; don't be anxious, don't be vague.

He said long, this said short; don't care about yourself, don't take care of yourself.

Seeing good people, that is, thinking of harmony; even if you go far away, you will gradually rank.

Seeing people are evil, that is, introspection, and if there is something, change it, and there is no need to add police.

Only moral learning, only talent, not as good as others, should be self-motivated.

Like clothes, like food; not as good as people, don't get angry.

When you hear anger, you hear good news; when you lose friends, you benefit from them.

Hearing fame and fear, hearing Guoxin; straight understanding, gradually blind date.

Unintentional wrongdoing is called fault; intentional wrongdoing is called evil.

If the past can be corrected, it will be gone; if it is concealed, it will be added to the blame.

All human beings must be loved; the sky is covered and the earth is carried.

A person who is high is a self-promotional person; what is important to a person is not high in appearance.

Those who are talented are arrogant; those who are obeyed are not big words.

If you have the ability, don't be selfish; if you have the ability, don't take it lightly.

Don't flatter the rich, don't be arrogant and poor; don't hate the old, don't like the new.

When people are not idle, do not disturb them; when people are uneasy, do not disturb them.

People have shortcomings, cut the pods; people have selfishness, don't talk about it.

Taoists are good, that is, good; people know it, the more they think about it.

To promote people to be evil is to be evil;

If you persuade each other kindly, you will build virtue;

Where to take and, you should be divided; and should be more, should be less.

If you are going to add someone, ask yourself first;

Desire to repay kindness, desire to forget grievances; complaining is short, repaying kindness is long.

Treat maids and servants with dignity; even though they are noble, they are kind and lenient.

Power persuades people, but heart is not; reason persuades people, but nothing is spoken.

The same people are not homogeneous; there are many customs, but few benevolent ones.

Those with benevolence are more afraid of people;

Being able to be affectionate and benevolent is infinitely good;

Incomparable harm is unlimited; if the villain enters, everything is bad.

If you don't practice hard, you can learn literature; if you are flashy, who will you be?

But practice hard, don't study literature, let your own opinions, ignorant of the truth.

There are three ways to study; heart, eye, mouth, and letter are all necessary.

If you read this, don't admire him; if this is not over, don't get up.

Width is the limit, work hard; when time is up, stagnation will pass.

If you have doubts, follow the notes and ask people for clarification.

The rooms are clean, the walls are clean; the cases are clean, and the pen and inkstone are straight.

The ink is worn out, the heart is wrong, the words are disrespectful, and the heart is sick.

List classics, there is a fixed place, after reading, restore the place.

Although there is a hurry, the volume is neat; if there is a defect, it will be filled.

It is not a holy book, do not look at it with the screen, blinds the cleverness, and bad will.

Don't be violent, don't abandon yourself, sage and virtuous, can be tame.
