Chapter 35 Motor Trial Production

Chapter 35 Motor Trial Production
In the factory of Surging Motor.

Wen Weiping, president of The Paper Motor Company, is accompanying Huang Haojie on the production line of The Paper 1 motor, looking at the motors being trial-produced.

The surging 1 motor being produced is actually not a rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor, but a permanent magnet synchronous motor.

After all, the price of rare earth is too high, and it is also a strategic material. If a rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor is used, the cost is estimated to be [-] yuan. Obviously, this price will reduce the competitiveness of the surging motor.

Moreover, the permanent magnet synchronous motor used in general electric vehicles has a power of about 80%.

Huang Haojie felt that there was no need to launch it with a total power equivalent to 124% of the rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor.

The ordinary permanent magnet synchronous motor with self-generating coating can already increase the heavy power to about 103% of the rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor, killing all the motors at once, and the rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor is even more against the sky. Just as a technical reserve.

The surging 1 motor is composed of a permanent magnet rotor, a multi-pole winding stator, and a position sensor.

It is a brushless DC motor that uses semiconductor Hall switch elements to realize electronic commutation, that is, replaces traditional contact commutators and brushes with electronic switching devices.

It has the advantages of high reliability, no commutation spark, and low mechanical noise.

The position sensor commutates the current of the stator winding in a certain order according to the change of the rotor position (that is, detects the position of the rotor magnetic pole relative to the stator winding, and generates a position sensing signal at the determined position, which is processed by the signal conversion circuit and then removed. Control the power switch circuit, and switch the winding current according to a certain logic relationship).

The self-generating coating is electroplated on the silicon steel sheet in the permanent magnet rotor.

The difference between a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor lies in the material of the permanent magnet.

The permanent magnet materials commonly used in motors include sintered magnets and bonded magnets. The main types are alnico, ferrite, samarium cobalt, and neodymium iron boron.

Among them, samarium cobalt and neodymium iron boron are rare earth permanent magnets.

The permanent magnet rotor in the surge motor uses ferrite permanent magnets.

Ferrite permanent magnet is a permanent magnet mainly made of SrO or BaO and Fe2O3 as raw materials.

Compared with other permanent magnets, ferrite magnets are hard and brittle with low magnetic energy.

However, it is not easy to demagnetize and not corrode, the production process is simple and the price is low. Therefore, the output of ferrite magnets is the highest in the entire magnet industry and is widely used in industrial production.

Obviously, for surging motors with self-generating technology, the performance of permanent magnets is no longer the first factor, but the price and difficulty of obtaining are the first factors.

The self-generating coating electroplated on the permanent magnet rotor will not interfere with the work of the motor itself due to the introverted characteristics of the coating material.

Instead, with the overall spatial displacement of the motor, the magnetic induction lines of the earth's magnetic field are continuously cut to generate current, which reversely charges the battery.

For example, if the battery supplies 1 kWh of electrical energy to the motor for work, then the self-generating coating will feed back 0.23 kWh of electrical energy to the battery.

Of course, this is under ideal conditions. Wen Weiping, Yang and they bought an electric car, disassembled the battery and motor, and then installed the Thor battery and surging motor.

After testing, they found that for every 1 kilowatt-hour of electricity consumed by the surging motor, the self-generating coating fed back 0.15 to 0.18 kilowatt-hours of electricity to the battery.

If you run on the highway, the feedback electric energy can reach 0.18-0.21 kWh.

In other words, even without the Thor battery, the surging motor can already increase the battery life of electric vehicles by 15-20% (measured data).

With the addition of Raytheon batteries, the electric vehicles with surging power are expected to increase the actual range to 300 kilometers.

After all, Raytheon batteries have 11% higher energy density than lithium batteries.

The domestic electric vehicle Biyadi E6 has a battery weight of about 620 kg, a total storage capacity of 57 kWh, a theoretical battery life of 360 kilometers, and an actual battery life of 260 kilometers.

My scalp tingles when I think about it, what is the concept of a 620 kg lithium battery, which is equivalent to a third to a quarter of the weight of a car.

If surging power also piles up so many batteries, the battery life can explode.

Think about the 620 kg Thor battery, the total storage capacity reaches 117 kWh, plus the 15-20% increase of the surging motor.

The actual battery life can reach 600-630 kilometers, and if the low-speed cruise mode is used, it can be increased to 750-800 kilometers.

The problem is that the production cost of 620 kilograms of Raytheon batteries is 1.67 Chinese yuan.Even if 50 kilograms of Raytheon batteries are sold to surging power, 620 kilograms of batteries will cost 3.1 Chinese yuan.

So stacking batteries is not cost-effective.

For the surging power electric vehicle planned by Huang Haojie, all Thor batteries will not exceed 350 kilograms.

This can not only reduce the cost, but also use the extra weight to strengthen the body strength.

Huang Haojie looked at the sparse workers and the empty workshop and ordered:
"Weiping! The surging motor production line should be improved as soon as possible, and more employees should be recruited. In addition, more suppliers of raw materials and spare parts should be found. Try not to use spare parts from foreign companies, so as to avoid being controlled by others."

After writing it down, Wen Weiping nodded and replied:

"Don't worry, Mr. Huang! I will definitely urge you."

After Huang Haojie ordered Wen Weiping, he and Yang He came to the Electrical Chemistry Laboratory. A group of figures in full-body protective suits were busy in the laboratory.

Yang He knocked on the isolation door, and Li Xiang, who was doing the experiment, realized it.

Looking at the haggard Li Xiang, Huang Haojie frowned: "Didn't I tell you? Work is work, but you should rest when you should. You will die young sooner or later like this, and you are not allowed to work overtime at night."

Yang He on the side suddenly smiled wryly. The boss Huang Haojie can be said to be a maverick. Other bosses can't wait for their employees to work overtime every day.

But the Milky Way is different. Even if the production line cannot be stopped, it uses three shifts, plus one shift. Each employee has at least two days off a week, and the salary is tripled on holidays. It can be said that among the companies in the Milky Way, employees are relatively happy.

"Understood, I'll go to rest after finishing this experiment. Boss, I already have some ideas about the compound you calculated and deduced." Li Xiang changed the subject nonchalantly.

"Well! Experiment slowly, pay attention to rest, our technical reserves can handle it for the time being." Huang Haojie nodded.

He turned to Yang He and asked, "Mr. Yang, how is your motor design going?"

"Boss Huang! Come with me." Yang He took Huang Haojie to the electrical engineering laboratory beside him.

There were also four working inside, and they saw Huang Junjie quickly put down the work in hand.

"Boss Huang!" "Boss Huang!"...

After all, the engineers are more straightforward, and they sincerely admire Huang Junjie, who invented the Raytheon battery and the surging motor.

"Well! Keep busy, everyone." Huang Haojie is often in various laboratories and is familiar with these engineers and researchers.

"Mr. Huang! Look, this is the self-generating induction motor we designed." Yang He pointed to a squirrel-cage-shaped motor.

Huang Haojie looked at it and found that the self-generating induction motor was much more complicated than the permanent magnet synchronous motor. He raised his head and asked:

"What about efficiency and other performance?"

Yang He Rushu Jiazhen reported: "The efficiency is about 90-92%, and the speed exceeds 9500-9600 rpm..."

The reason why Huang Haojie let Yang He develop the induction motor is mainly for the consideration of future high-end models.

After all, if you want to have strong explosive power and fast start, induction motors are essential, and the disadvantage of induction motors is low efficiency, especially at low speeds.

Therefore, domestic electric vehicle companies mostly use permanent magnet synchronous motors, and foreign Teslas and the like mostly use induction motors.
