Return to Scene - After the camera focuses on a character or action in the scene, it returns to the larger scene.

Close-up shot - photographing people or objects from a close distance.

EXTERIOR - OUTDOORS, EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT.

Quick Cuts - Extremely short camera transitions, sometimes as short as one frame.

High Panoramic Shot - The camera is positioned high, "looking down" at an object or scene at a wide angle.

Freeze - The camera freezes on a person or object.

INTERIOR—INTERIOR, INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT.

Jump Cut - Jumping from one important moment to the next moment at the same angle.This transition is often used to represent brief passages of time.

Montage - A sequence of shots in which space, time, and information are compressed in succession, often accompanied by music.

Offscreen - Actions that happen offscreen, or words spoken by unseen characters onscreen.

Panning/Quick Panning - the camera turns on a fixed axis, slowly turning from one subject to another; quick panning is moving from one subject to another extremely quickly.

Point-of-view shot - The camera is shot from the point of view of a specific person.

Whisper - to speak in a low or low voice.

Time Cut - Cut to a later time in the same scene.

Voice-over - Words spoken by characters not present in the scene on screen.

Panoramic shooting - the lens shows the complete image of an object or person, generally used to express its relationship with the surrounding environment.Often used to position scenes in movies.
