After entering meditation, there was no one in the cave, and the birds wanted to build a nest on Bodhidharma's shoulder.

What is "Entering Meditation"? "Entering Meditation" is said in Buddhism, which means sitting in meditation to a certain extent, with a high concentration of thoughts, eliminating all evil thoughts, evil thoughts, and difficult thoughts, and everything outside does not interfere with him. This is a description The high attainments of the eminent monks practicing Zen.

After "opening meditation", he stood up, moved his limbs, exercised his body, and continued to sit in meditation after the fatigue recovered.At that time, Bodhidharma's life content was: "go to work and sit in meditation, sleepy boxing, hungry to eat".

Bodhidharma lived in the cave for nine years. When he left the cave, on the stone opposite the meditation, there was an image of him facing the wall. The folds and wrinkles of his clothes were faintly visible, like a light-colored ink painting. .

People call this stone "Dharma Face Wall Shadow Stone", and this natural cave is called "Dharma Face Wall Cave".

To this day, the ruins still exist.Bodhidharma's deeds of facing the wall for nine years have been admired by people of all ages.

The monks dug out the shadow stone and put it in the temple to make offerings.

During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, people built a double-column and single-hole stone tablet archway outside the face wall cave, with "Moxuanchu" engraved on the forehead and "Donglai Zhaoji" engraved on the back forehead.

This is also the story of Bodhidharma facing the wall.

If you want to talk about where Bodhidharma is facing the wall, you can't simply say facing the entrance and the inside of the cave. That's not talking about Zen, it's just arguing.

Since this old man really intends to discuss Zen with himself, Ye Feng also thought about it a little:
"Bodhidharma faces the wall and his back to the Dharma seeker with the broken arm."
