Taihuai Town is the central hinterland of Mount Wutai Scenic Area. It is a beautiful mountain town surrounded by mountains and water, with a population of nearly 2000 people from four ethnic groups: Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan.This area is located in the embrace of the five peaks of Mount Wutai, hence the name "Taiwan Huai".
