Sex and the city

Chapter 16 Urban Baby VS Suburban Girl

Chapter 16 Urban Baby VS Suburban Girl (2)
Unfortunately, Kylie emerges from the kitchen just as she speaks, drinking a tall glass of vodka on the rocks. "Speaking of babies," she said, "Bella's husband wanted her to get pregnant again, but she didn't want to, so she went to the pharmacy and bought something like an ovulation test. The clerk at the pharmacy wished her a 'good pregnancy' look, but they have no idea that she bought it to avoid having sex during ovulation - isn't it funny?"

"I don't want to be pregnant in the summer," Bella said. "I don't want to have a big belly in a bathing suit."

Brigid abruptly brought the subject back. "What do you do, Miranda?" she asked. "You live in the city, don't you?"

"Yeah, I'm the director of a cable company."

"Ah, I like cable TV," Rita said. She wore three thick gold necklaces, showing off a twelve-carat sapphire and diamond ring on her finger, and another sapphire-encrusted wedding ring on her ring finger.

"Yeah," Bella said with a sweet smile, "we all thought Miranda was our Bob Pittman. You know, the founder of MTV."

"Yeah, I know," Rita said. "My husband works at CBS. I gotta tell him I met you, Miranda. I'm sure he knows you—I've always been him, to tell you the truth." Assistant! Then the whole world found out we were dating—he had a wife then!" She exchanged glances with other Connecticut women.

Kelly slumped down next to Rita, accidentally spilling a few drops of vodka on her.

"Sorry," Kelly said, "I'm so clumsy today. Want a tissue?"

"It's okay," Rita said.

"That's funny," Kelly said. "Fishing a married man, I can't do that. I guess I'm the type to be his wife and best friend."

"That's why Xiji Company has opened so many courses to cultivate your ability." Sara interjected bluntly.

"Yeah, but I don't want to be in class with a bunch of losers," Kylie responded.

"I know a lot of people who take skills classes, and they're all nice people," Brigid said.

"What's our favorite class?" Rita asked. "Sexual abuse—how to be a dominatrix."

"My husband is only a little bit interested in whipping," Brigid said. "It's sex after marriage."

Lucy laughed unnaturally.

Suburban Shock: The Bidet

Kelly stood up drunk and asked, yawning, "Anyone know where the restroom is?"

Kelly wasn't actually drunk at all.She didn't go to the bathroom at all either. She crept up the stairs, which were covered with oriental rugs. She thought to herself, if she were Julie, she would know all about the origins of these oriental rugs—if you have the ability to tie up a wealthy banker and let him buy such a big house in the suburbs, then This knowledge is one of the necessary skills.

She sneaks into Julie's bedroom. There was a thick white carpet on the floor, and there were silver framed pictures all over the bedroom, some of which held photos of Jolie in a swimsuit, smiling professionally, her long blond hair falling gracefully over her shoulders.

Kelly stared at the photo for a long time. What is her life like? How did she get these? How on earth do you get a rich man to love you like crazy and give you all these luxuries?Julie is 34 years old and has never been successful before, but she still seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

She grew up believing that sooner or later she would live the life Julie had—because she wanted to.However, the men she likes either don't want this kind of life or don't want her; and the men who want her are either too boring or too mediocre. She goes into Julie's bathroom. It was paved from floor to ceiling in opulent black marble, and there was an unusual bidet.Maybe suburban husbands want their wives to wash their pussies before they do it—unlike the guys in the city.Kelly thought to herself, almost screaming at her own thoughts.

On the wall was a huge fourteen by seventeen inch color photograph. In the photo, Jolie is almost naked like Demi Moore, wearing only a light pajamas, showing a pair of plump breasts. She looks proudly at the camera with her big belly, her hands resting on her protruding navel.Kelly flushed the toilet quickly and ran down the stairs without breathing.

"We've already started unwrapping presents," Brigid scolded.

Kelly sat down next to Miranda. "What's the matter with you?" Mirada asked.

"The photo is in the bathroom of the master bedroom. Go and see it!" Kelly whispered.

"Sorry to excuse me." Miranda quickly got up and left the room.

"What are you doing?" Julie asked.

"It's okay," Kelly said. The soon-to-be bride had just unwrapped a present. Inside was a pair of red silk thongs trimmed with black lace.Everyone is laughing wildly. This is the bridal shower.

"I was shocked!"

"That photo was unbelievable!" Miranda said. They were on the train back to the city, and the carriage rocked rhythmically.

"If I got pregnant," Bailey said, "I'd hide in my room for nine months without seeing anybody."

"If it were me, I would be like her." Sara looked out of the window with an unhappy face, "They have a villa, a car, a babysitter, everything. Their life is so moist. I am very happy. envy."

"What do they do every day? I really want to know," Miranda said.

"They barely have sex anymore!" Kelly thought of her new boyfriend, Mr. Big.Everything is perfect between them now, but in a year or two - if they last that long - who knows what it will be like?

"You won't believe what I heard about Brigid," Bailey said. "While you were upstairs, Julie pulled me into the kitchen and said, 'Be nice to Brigid, She just got her husband Ted in bed with another woman.'”

The other woman was Brigid's neighbor Susan. She and Ted both work in the city, so have been going to work together every day since last year. One night at around ten o'clock, Brigid was out walking her dog when she spotted Ted's car at the end of an alley.Ted and Susan were getting drunk and fighting inside.

Brigid slams the car door open and pats Tad's bare bottom lightly. "Whedon has a cold and wants to say 'good night' to his dad," she said, before walking away on her own.

For the next week, she continued to act nonchalantly, while Ted became more and more restless, calling her ten times a day.Every time he tried to explain, she shifted the conversation to their two children. Finally, on Saturday night, they sat face to face on the patio.Ted had had a little too much to drink, and as he was setting down a margarita, Brigid said, "I'm pregnant again, three months. So we don't have to worry about miscarriages. Happy Do you, honey?" She picked up the jug of margaritas and poured them over his head.

"It's so classic!" Kelly said, cleaning her nails with match clips.

"I'm glad my husband is a trustworthy man," Bailey said.

"I'm getting goosebumps," Miranda said. The train runs on the bridge.Outside the window, New York City looms in the dusky brown twilight. "I'm going to have a drink. Are you coming?"

After three cocktails, Kelly called Mr. Big.

"Hey," he said, "how's your day?"

"Damn!" she giggled. "They're talking about kids or private schools, and whose friends got blacklisted from the country club, whose nanny wrecked their new Mercedes. You know me How annoying these things are."

She could hear Mr. Big taking a deep draw on his cigar. "Don't worry, girl. You'll get used to it," he said.

"I don't think so," she said.

She turned and looked at their table.Miranda lured two men over from another table, one of whom was having a lively chat with Sara.

"I need someone to cover me—come to the Bowery!" she said, and she hung up.
