Chapter 30 Mr. Big is not at home, the lonely girl came to him
Kelly met the girl in the nightclub bathroom by accident.
While Kelly and Sissy were chatting in the bathroom cubicle, someone knocked on the cubicle door.Kelly was in a good mood, so instead of yelling at her to get the hell out, she uncharacteristically opened the door ajar. There was a girl standing there, dark haired, who seemed to be in good shape."Can I come in?" she asked abruptly.
"Oh, of course," Kelly said.
"Hey," Sissy said, "do we know you?"
"No, we don't know her," Kelly answered for her.
"What do you have?" the girl asked.
"What do you want?" Kelly asked her back.
"I brought some great weed," the girl said.
"Okay," Kelly said.
The girl lit a joint and handed it to Kelly, "This is absolutely the best joint you'll ever smoke."
"Not necessarily." Kelly said, taking a deep breath.
The nightclub is crowded and noisy, so it's easy to be in the bathroom stall. The girl was leaning against the wall, smoking weed. She said she was 27, and Kylie didn't believe it, but she didn't mind either. After all, she was just a passerby I met in the bathroom. This kind of thing is very common.
"So, what do you do?" Sissy asked.
"I own a skin care business," the girl said.
"Really?" Kelly said.
"It's a scientific research product. If you want, I can help you maintain it."
"Really?" Kelly said, lighting a cigarette. They've been occupying the bathroom for so long that the others have started banging on the door.
"We have to get out," Sissy said.
"I'd love to have someone take care of me," Kylie told the girl. "My skin hasn't been doing well lately."
"Let's get out!" Sissy repeated impatiently.
"I'll help you improve," said the girl.
The girl is not tall, but full of aura. She has a cool look, a low voice, and a face that's somewhere between pretty and mediocre, making it impossible not to take a few extra glances. She was wearing leather pants and boots, both expensive and high-end.
"I know some of the people waiting outside." Sissy complained distraughtly.
"Hey, take it easy," Kelly said.
"I want to be with you," said the girl. "I want to be with you tonight. I think you are beautiful. You know that."
"Well, of course," Kelly said, but she was surprised.
What's wrong with me?
In eighth grade, Kelly met a girl named Charlotte Knight.Charlotte is popular at school, which of course means she develops early.Charlotte often wrote cards to other girls inviting them to spend the night at her house. One day, Kelly's friend Jackie is also invited. But in the middle of the night at Charlotte's house, Jackie called her father out of the blue and asked him to come pick her up.The next day, Jackie tells Kelly that Charlotte "assaulted" her.Charlotte kissed her, touched her breasts, and wanted Jackie to do the same.Charlotte said it was "a warm-up before going on a date with a boy".After that, they broke up.
This incident also left a shadow on Kelly. In the years that followed, Kelly never changed in front of other girls or shared a bed with them. These behaviors are taken for granted, after all, we are all girls. So Kylie always wondered what was wrong with her and why she couldn't let go of her tension and look at it with a normal heart like everyone else.
However, problems followed.Just imagine, if your best friend proposes to sleep with you, what kind of horrible scene will it be?Years ago, two of Kylie's best friends got drunk and slept together at night. The next day, they called Kelly separately, complaining that the other guy wanted to have sex with them, and warned Kelly to be careful too.Kelly didn't know who to trust, but the two women never saw each other again.
perfunctory persuasion
Mr. Big was away all October, so everything seemed quiet. On the streets of the Upper East Side, people have changed into autumn clothes, but the weather is still warm and sunny. At first, Kelly stayed at home every night, reading Jane Austen's "Persuasion", not going out to drink or watch movies. She has read this novel twice, but this time, she suddenly felt that the novel was boring and the dialogue was too long. The lack of alcohol and parties made her feel low.So she started her life outside again, but found that there seemed to be no new people or things that could arouse her interest.
One night, Kelly was in Vacos, a new nightclub in Soho.Stanford Bratch came in with a man's handkerchief tied around his neck.
"What's wrong with you?" Kelly asked him."That's what you say? Blame that idiot," says Stanford, referring to a man who likes to be strangled during sex. "I don't mind choking him," Stanford said, "but don't let him do it the other way around! But I guess I'll see him again. Yeah, I'm that freak."
The next night, Kelly and Rock?McGuire, who was a TV personality, ate together. "I'm looking for a boyfriend," she said, "I think I'm finally ready for a relationship."
"You're such a nice guy, smart, funny, and successful," Kelly said, "and you'll be absolutely fine."
"It can't be that easy!" Locke said. "I don't want to date guys in their early 20s who live off their faces. Even if they are in their 30s, I want them to be successful. Questions How many guys still fit that standard? So I just go to a sex club and sort things out, have a good night and go home. At least it doesn’t mess up my relationship.”
The next morning, Miranda called. "You'll never guess what I did!" she said excitedly. "What did you do, honey?" Kelly asked, making an involuntary fist in her right hand, which she had been doing a lot lately.
"Have time? You'd absolutely love it."
"Uh, I'm a little busy, but I'd love to hear from you."
"I went to a party with John Finn. You know John Finn?"
"I don't know, but..."
"I told you about it before. That party was thrown by my friend Sally. You remember Sally? The 'Sally on the Motorcycle.'"
"Oh, 'Sally the Motorcycle'."
"That's right. All the famous baseball stars were there yesterday. Guess what? I slept with one of them, and then I went into the bedroom with another one, and it happened again. At the party!"
"Incredible!" Kelly said. "How does it feel?"
"It's so cool!" Miranda said.
"I've got to do something," Kelly thought to herself.
The scenery outside the wall
"Let's go to the club," the girl suggested.Kelly was in the backseat of the car with her, along with the girl's friends, young men in their early 20s who seemed unattractive to Kelly. "They have more money than anyone you know," the girl whispered to Kelly. But Kelly felt the only thing about them was that they were forgettable.
The girl tugged at Kelly's arm, trying to pull her up.She kicked the boy sitting next to her and said, "Hey bastard, we're going to hang out."
"I'm going to a party at Trump Tower!" the boy said with a European accent.
"It's true," she said.
"Come on, honey, come with us." She turned her head and whispered to Kelly.
Kelly squeezed into the front seat of the Land Rover with the girl. The car was driving uptown when the girl yelled, "Stop here, you idiot!" She turned sideways, opened the door, and pulled Kelly out of the car. "Let's go," she said.
So the two girls ran happily along West Eighth Street. They spotted a club on the side of the road and went straight in.They were holding hands, and the girl knew some people in the club, and Kelly didn't know anyone, but she liked it.The eyes of the men were on them, but they did not look back. They don't look like two girls out to have fun.It seems that there is a wall separating them from the outside world, and on the other side of the wall is freedom and strength. "It's a good feeling," Kelly thought. From now on, say goodbye to tension, say goodbye to anxiety. In fact, everything is not so difficult.
Kelly remembered that when she had been to a party the other day, a woman named Alex had told her a story about her friend. That friend is bisexual, neither male nor female. She will date a man she likes, but once she meets a woman she likes, she will dump the man without blinking and turn around and fall into the arms of the woman.
"I've never been around a girl before," Alex said. "Maybe I'm weird. All women think, I wish I was 'La La' so I don't have to deal with bad guys. "But the funny thing is, my friend said that the relationship can become very tense when you are with the same sex - after all, both are women.Think about it, a woman is equal to [-] ducks, how can a thousand ducks get together? The two women would talk non-stop all day long when they were together - gossip, heart-to-heart, gossip - until four o'clock in the morning. After a while, my friend finally couldn't take it anymore and went to find a man.She was tired of chattering like this. "
"Have you ever been with a woman?" the girl asked Kelly. "You would absolutely love it."
"Okay," Kelly said. She felt she was ready.it's time.Kelly thought, "Maybe I've always been gay and I just didn't realize it." She imagined kissing that girl. Her lips must be softer and more elastic than men's.It shouldn't matter.
So Kelly went home with the girl. The girl lived in an expensive high-rise apartment on the Upper East Side, with a luxuriously decorated two-bedroom apartment. The furniture was imported from Denmark. The floor was covered with oriental knitted blankets, and there was a delicate china cat on the side table. On the kitchen table was a small earthenware bowl filled with joints. The girl ordered one, poured some red wine, and handed Kelly a glass.
"I still sleep with guys sometimes," the girl said, "but they drive me crazy."
"Really?" Kelly said. All she could think about was when the girl would start and what she should do.
"I've slept with both men and women," said the girl, "but I prefer women."
"Then why are you still sleeping with men?" Kelly asked.
The girl shrugged and said, "Material needs."
"It's the same set again, essentially the same," Kelly said. She lit a cigarette, leaned against the bar, and scanned the apartment. "So, what the hell do you do?" she asked. "I mean, you must be rich enough to rent this place yourself. Or you're working on something else."
The girl took a sip of red wine. "Well, I still dance," she said.
"Oh, that's it," Kelly said. "Where?"
"Schonfleur's Club. I do well there. I make over a thousand a night."
"It turned out that this was the root cause."
"Can I have a cigarette?" the girl asked.
"Strippers hate men, so they only sleep with each other."
"Yes," said the girl, "because men are scum."
"Only the ones you know are. Only the guys who go to strip clubs are," Kelly said.
"Oh, are there others? Men are almost the same." The girl said.Under the light of the kitchen, Kelly found that her skin texture was not very good, and traces of acne scars could be vaguely seen under the thick makeup. "I'm tired," said the girl. "Let's go lie down."
"Let's go," Kelly said.
They went into the bedroom.Kelly sat on the edge of the bed, searching for something to talk about. "I'll change into something comfortable." The girl said as she opened the closet. She took off her leather pants, changed into a pair of loose gray sweatpants, and took out a T-shirt.She turned away from Kelly and unbuttoned her underwear.Kelly found that she looked short and fat without clothes on.
They lie on the bed, and the minutes pass by. "Do you have a boyfriend?" the girl asked suddenly.
"Yes," Kelly said, "I love him a lot."
They lay still for a few minutes more.Kelly begins to miss Mr. Big terribly.
"Listen," Kelly said, "I've got to go home. But it's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you, too," said the girl. She turned to the wall, her back to Kelly, and closed her eyes. "Will you close the door for me when you go out? I'll call you."
Two days later, Kelly got a call from the girl.Kelly thought, "Why did I leave her a call?" The girl said, "Hi, Kelly, it's me. How are you doing?"
"I'm fine," Kelly responded perfunctorily. She paused and said, "Listen, I'll call you back in a bit. What's your phone number?"
She took down the girl's phone number - even though she already had her number. She didn't call back. The phone kept ringing, but she ignored it and let it automatically go to the answering machine. Two hours later, she was out the door.

A few days later, Kylie went to see the Ralph Lauren fashion show in Bryant Park. Those thin and tall girls walked across the runway one by one, their long blond hair fluttering to their fragrant shoulders, they were so beautiful that it made people feel hallucinatory, as if they were in a perfect world. And when those girls passed by each other, their eyes met and they smiled secretly.
