Chapter 20 No.16 Hexagram Yu

Kun went to Yu, Li Jianhou Xingshi.

This hexagram is opposite to the image of the Qian hexagram, and they are "comprehensive hexagrams". Modesty makes others happy and makes oneself happy, and there is an interaction.

"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "If you are big and able to be modest, you must hesitate; so you should accept it." Wealthy and modest, of course happy.

"Yu" means harmony and joy. In this hexagram, only "Jiusi" is the yang line, and the other yin lines obey him, so they achieve success and feel happy.Also, the lower hexagram "Kun" means smoothness, and the upper hexagram "Zhen" means movement, which is the image of following actions happily; therefore, it is named "Yu".Compared with personnel affairs, everyone is willing to follow the action, and it is certain that the foundation of the prince can be established, which is conducive to the use of troops.

"Xiang" said: "Yu, just respond to the will and act, follow the movement, Yu."Henan moves along the way, so the heaven and the earth are like it, how about "Jianhou Xingshi"?The heaven and the earth move smoothly, so the sun and the moon don't pass, but the four seasons don't change: the saint moves smoothly, and the punishment is clear and the people obey.The righteousness of the time of Yu is great!

The only "nine four" rigid line in the Yu hexagram has five negative lines that respond to it, so it can carry out its ambitions: the upper hexagram "Zhen" is movement, and the lower hexagram "Kun" is smooth, and it can act according to the timing.So happy, named "Yu".The hexagram Yu acts according to the timing, just like the heaven and the earth. If the heaven and the earth are like this, how about establishing a princely foundation or using force?The heaven and the earth act according to the timing, so the sun and the moon run without mistakes, and the four seasons cycle without deviation.The meaning of time displayed by the Yu hexagram is so great!

"Elephant" said: Thunder comes out of the ground, Yu.The ancient kings worshiped morality with music, and Yin recommended God to match the ancestors.

"Yin" is grand, "God" is the emperor of heaven, "kao" is the deceased father, and "pei" is sacrifice.

In this hexagram, the upper hexagram "Zhen" is thunder, and the lower hexagram "Kun" is earth. Thunder erupts on the ground, producing thunder and invigorating the earth. This is the most harmonious phenomenon of yin and yang, so it is called "Yu".The ancient sage kings imitated this spirit and created music, which is to imitate the sound of thunder and the meaning of harmony.

The "Book of Filial Piety" said: "On the day of the winter solstice, the Duke of Zhou went to the suburbs to offer sacrifices to the ancestor Houji; in September, in the Mingtang, he also offered sacrifices to his late father, King Wen, and the Emperor of Heaven." They are summoned to earthly utility.

Sixth day: Mingyu, fierce.

"Xiang" said: "The sixth day of the first day Ming Yu", Zhipoor is also "fierce". On the sixth day of the lunar new year, the yin and yang are not in the correct position, and they are villains.But the "sixth day" and "ninety-four"

The yin and yang correspond to each other, and there is a strong support from the upper level. They can do whatever they want, proudly, and sing loudly without knowing it. This kind of smug attitude, of course, has a vicious result. "Xiang Zhuan" said: This is self-satisfied, so it is fierce.

"Yu" means harmony and happiness, and it should be auspicious, but this "Yaoci" is said to be fierce because it means that one is happy alone, not everyone is happy.Therefore, happiness is conditional and not necessarily auspicious.

This line emphasizes not to be happy alone, but to be happy together.

Sixty-two: Between stones, not all day long, Zhenji.

"Xiang" said: "It is not chaste and auspicious all day long", which means to be righteous. "Jie" means rambunctious, lonely, "Yu" as an explanation, "Yu"

It is joy, but joy can easily make people addicted, and instead fall into sorrow. In the Yu hexagram, only "[-]" is in the middle, and the cloudy sky is in the right position, which symbolizes that all the upper and lower lines are addicted to joy, but he is the only one who remains awake. Adhere to Zhongzheng, unwavering like a stone, think carefully and discern clearly at any time throughout the day, and see through good and bad, because of purity, it is auspicious. It is said in "University": "When you are safe, you can worry about it, and after you think about it, you can gain." This is what it means.

This line emphasizes not to indulge in peace and happiness, but to remain vigilant.Six three: Xuyu, regret.Too late to regret.

"Xiang" said: "Xuyu has regrets", which is inappropriate. "Xu" means looking up. "Six Three" yin and yang are not in the right position, and they are not in the middle, which symbolizes the villain who is not in the middle; it is also close to the main body of this hexagram, the strongest "Nine Four"; With his mind, he gets peace and happiness.This attitude, however, will soon be regretted.Therefore, you must repent immediately, and if you hesitate, you will really regret it.

This line shows that peace and happiness should be obtained in a proper way.

Ninety-four: Youyu, you will gain a lot.No doubt.Friends hairpin.

"Xiang" said: "You can gain a lot from Yu".Zhidaxing also. "From" is from. "盍" and contract. "Hairpin" means borrowing and hastening.In addition, "hairpin" is used to tie hair, and it is also interpreted as a gathering, a gathering of friends, called "盍hairpin", which comes from this "Yao Ci".

"Nine Fourth" is the only Yang line in this hexagram, and "Four" is the position of the minister. It echoes with the upper and lower Yin lines, and becomes a friend and comrade; it is trusted by the "Sixth Five-Year" king, and becomes the symbol of peace and happiness. Central character, so much to gain.However, the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" was weak, and the heavy responsibility was entrusted to him alone. He must be honest and not suspicious, so that comrades would come to gather and get help.

This line shows that you must be honest, sincere and united to have peace and happiness.Sixth Five-Year: Chastity, illness, eternal immortality.

"Xiang" said: "Sixth Five-Year", "Zhen disease", Cheng Gang also. "Eternal Immortality" means that the middle is not dead.

The Yin line of the "Sixth Five-Year" is weak. Although it is in the supreme position, there is a strong "Nine-Fourth" line below, so the situation is dangerous, like a seriously ill person.However, the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" is in the middle of the upper hexagram, and it has not lost its authority and will not perish.In such a dying state, neither dead nor alive, one must be cautious, adhere to the principle of the mean, and maintain purity in order to avoid perishing.

This line emphasizes happiness without forgetting worry, moderation, and adherence to purity can avoid perishing.

Upper Six: Ming Yu, Cheng Yuyu, No Blame.

"Xiang" said: "Mingyu" is on the "upper", how can it grow?

"Xiang Zhuan" said: How can a person who indulges in pleasure secretly in spite of the heavens and wrongs be in the top position for a long time?

A Comprehensive Overview of Yu Gua

[Meaning] Facing Anle - be prepared for danger in times of peace, never forget worries when you are happy.

[Gua Yi] An Le, Joy, Entertainment, Sexuality.

【Introduction】Yu has three meanings, music, interest, and premonition.If you blindly indulge in "joy", you will inevitably "take advantage of the opportunity" and lead to failure, so you need to "pre-birth".Judging from the shape of the hexagram, it is the yang energy on the earth that makes the spring thunder vibrate.Now, the heat energy stored in winter has to be dissipated. The unsatisfactory things in the past can be said to be the preparation stage for the present.

[Gua Yi] The upper hexagram shakes as thunder, the lower hexagram Kun as the ground, and the thunder comes out of the ground.Kunjing, pure yin mainly closes; closing extremes leads to stagnation.Earthquake is the movement of thunder, and all things come out when the sun moves, so joy, when you are quiet and think about movement, when you close the extreme, you start to announce, and when you move according to the time, you will be happy.But Joy and Joy should not be indulged too much, one must be prepared for danger in peace, and never forget worries.

[Gua Xiang] The upper hexagram thunder shakes on the ground of the lower hexagram Kun.Thunder strikes the ground, and the sound of vibration floats out of the quiet and secluded earth, symbolizing entertainment, joyful and comfortable scenes.

[Thinking mode] Yu hexagram is a hexagram that discusses ideological cultivation and discusses the principle of harmony and happiness.

②Using the conditions of peace and happiness, start a new round of "Jianhou" business.

[Philosophical Enlightenment] Elaborate the principle of harmony and warn people: be good at making use of the conditions of happiness, and take the opportunity of happiness as the starting condition for creating another round of career without forgetting the worries.

[Decision-making thinking] In the course of one's life struggle, or in the stage of career success, it is especially necessary to correctly handle the relationship between work and rest.At the right time, you should relax yourself and wait for work with ease, but you must keep in mind that you should not indulge in excessive drinking and sex, and you must not forget your worries.We must understand the dialectical relationship of "born in sorrow and died in peace".
