"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "There must be a loss if you slow down, so you will suffer from it." "Loss" means reduction.This hexagram comes from the Tai hexagram, the lower hexagram is reduced, and a Yang line is added to the upper hexagram, which becomes the loss hexagram.That is to say, the bottom loses and the top benefits, the wealth of the people decreases, and the wealth of the monarch increases, but the focus is on loss; so it is called the hexagram of loss.The opposite of this hexagram is the upper loss and the lower benefit, and the following is still prevailing, which is called the Yi hexagram.Derogation should not be completely regarded as evil. In order to govern the country, sometimes it is necessary to take from the people and suffer a certain degree of derogation, but it must be taken from the people and used for the people in order to gain the trust of the people and be accepted by the people.It should be unlucky and negligent to cause people to lose money, and it cannot last for a long time; however, as long as you are honest, it will be beneficial and auspicious.

"Yuan" says: Loss, damage to the bottom and benefit to the top, the way goes up.Loss and "fu, Yuanji, no blame, can be chaste, and benefits will go. For the purpose, the second gui can be enjoyed"; the second gui should be time.There is a time to lose rigidity and gain softness, and profit and loss are profitable and empty, and go with the times.

Loss is the lower part of the loss, and the upper part of the gain, and the direction is from bottom to top.As long as the damage reduction is honest, it will be auspicious, there is no fault, it can last for a long time, and it will be beneficial.The use of reduction, although it is said that two bamboo plates can be used for sacrifices, but it does not mean that all decorations and forms can be abolished.Rituals should have piety as their essence; but piety must be expressed in form.Therefore, the use of two bamboo plates as a sacrifice should be decided according to the timing, and the essence and form must be paid attention to. Only the pretentiousness of the form for the sake of form can detract from it.Similarly, if it is too rigid, it should be reduced, and if it is too soft, it should be gained. It is also limited by the time factor.Losses, increases, gains, surpluses, and deficits evolve with time, so they should be properly disposed of as a result of the evolution of time, and cannot be violated.

"Elephant" says: There is luster at the foot of the mountain, but damage: the gentleman punishes anger and suffocates desire.The upper hexagram "Gen" of the loss hexagram is the mountain, and the lower hexagram "Dui" is the marsh, which reduces the soil in the marsh to increase the mountain, so the mountain is high and the marsh is low.A gentleman should imitate this spirit, he should punish himself for his anger, and kill his greed by himself, so as to reduce human desires and enhance the principles of heaven.

"Lao Tzu" says: "Destroy again and again, until there is nothing to do." That is to say, one should reduce the ability, intelligence, and desire to return to the natural state of inaction and no desire. "Xiang" said: "The past has happened", Shang Hezhi also. "Ji" means to finish and stop, "聄" means speed, and "Shang" is the same as above. The "ninth day of the first day" is the moment when the loss and the gain are high, corresponding to the "June Fourth" in the upper hexagram.

The "ninth day of the ninth day" itself was more than vigorous, but the "ninth day of the sixth day" was not feminine enough. Therefore, the "ninth day of the ninth day" stopped its work and hurried to help the "June [-]th".However, between profit and loss, we should consider our strengths and make them moderate.

"Elephant Legend" said.This is because the "June [-]th" above corresponds to the "Ninth day of the first day", and they are like-minded.

This line shows that what should be lost will be lost, but it must be measured and moderate.Ninety-two: Lizhen, levying fierceness, profit and loss.

"Xiang" said: "Ninety-two" and "Li Zhen" are also aspirations in the middle. "Ninety-two" Yang Yao is resolute, in the center of the next hexagram, the mean does not advance rashly, so it is beneficial to stick to the right way; if it actively develops outward, danger will occur.Although it is right to sacrifice oneself to help others, sometimes you can help the other party without detracting from yourself, and on the contrary make the other party more beneficial.There are many loyal and righteous people in the world, but they often don't understand this truth. "Xiang Zhuan" said: This is the reason for the ambition of the mean.

This line emphasizes the principle of benefit without loss, and the principle should be used flexibly.Don't stick to it.

Six Three: When three people walk together, one loses one; if one walks together, one gains a friend.

"Xiang" said: "One person walks", "three" is doubtful.The loss hexagram is transformed from the Qin hexagram. In the lower hexagram of the Tai hexagram, one yang line is reduced and one more yang line is added to the upper hexagram to become the loss hexagram.That is to say, one of the three yang lines of the lower hexagram of the Tai hexagram is lost; therefore, if three people walk together, one person is lost.At the same time, in the upper hexagram of the Tai hexagram, there is a yin line descending, and the yin and yang meet; therefore, one person can get friends by walking alone.Everything in the world is established by the combination of one yin and one yang; therefore, if one person goes alone, he will definitely meet like-minded friends; if three people go together, they will be suspicious and do not know which person should become comrades; , will leave because they find another companion.That is to say, the principle of equalization is that there is more than enough to lose, and not enough to benefit. Three people will lose one person, and one person will gain one person.

"Xiang" said: "It hurts its disease", and it can also be "happy". "Illness" means disease, which is extended to shortcoming. "Make" means to assume. The position of "June [-]th" should be helped by the corresponding "Ninth day of the first day". "Chu Ninth" is a resolute gentleman, and "June Fourth" is a soft villain with flaws in character.Therefore, we can reduce the disadvantages of "June [-]th" by reducing the advantages of "Ninth Day".However, just like curing a disease, the sooner the treatment is performed, the greater the chance of recovery. It should be done quickly, and when the accumulated evil is not deep, it will be corrected, so that there will be gratifying results and no disaster will happen.
