Chapter 1 Preface
Unknowingly, I have written the series "Corpse Investigation Section" to the third season. With the increase of the readership, more and more questions follow.

"Are you really a policeman?"

These are the two most frequently asked questions by readers in my private messages on Weibo.

I have fully revealed my identity in the prologue of the first season. For the second question, there will be an answer in what I want to say later.

Since I was in high school, I have been a bookworm, and I have eaten almost all the novels I like to read on the market.Many years later, when I picked up the pen to write my own story, I realized that my concept of the word "novel" was very vague.Many people are discussing the wonderful novels of ×× in their spare time, but what is the real concept of "novel", and how many people understand it?
"Fiction" is explained in the Xinhua Dictionary: "It is a literary genre that centers on the portrayal of characters and reflects social life through complete storylines and environmental descriptions."

The literal meaning is easy to understand. Since a book is called a "novel", it must at least reflect a certain aspect of social life.As a criminal investigation novel, its foothold must at least respect the actual work of the police.In the criminal investigation novels I have read, many famous authors are keen on describing "big cases". "Big cases" can indeed bring a strong sensory impact, but how much real "big case" material is there?
Since I went to work in 2008, I have been working in the front line of criminal investigation for more than eight years. I have handled at least a few thousand cases, but "serial killings" and "perverted killings" can be said to be very few. In this era of rapid information development, if such a case occurs in a certain place, it is estimated that it can spread throughout the country overnight. Once such a "major case" occurs, it will definitely be arrested by the whole police.

All investigators who have participated in handling cases know that "big cases" are not difficult to solve, but "small cases" that really test a person's ability to handle cases are often "small cases". For the "small cases" around you, my purpose is to let everyone truly feel the whole process of a case from discovery to detection, and these "cases" may have happened around you.

My main job is police, writing is just my hobby, I don't do it for a living.I personally think that a novel is not to show readers superb writing skills, nor is it to outline those mysterious and mysterious stories. As a criminal investigation novel, it must at least reflect the objective and true "criminal investigation system". The lack of "Sherlock Holmes" and the "Corpse Investigation Section" series is to allow everyone to truly feel their existence.

Often when a case occurs, everyone can only stand outside the security circle and wait and see.
