Chapter 9 Good Mouth Care

Chapter 9 Good Mouth Care
For all kinds of people and phenomena in the world, we should just treat them with a pure heart, and don't jump to conclusions, let alone criticize monks at will.

No matter what the situation is, we Buddhist practitioners must carefully choose between cause and effect, and protect the three doors of body, speech, and mind.As ordinary beings, we are not capable of judging whether a person is an accomplished person or not.

Not to mention far away, only in the small valley of Larung, in the hundreds of years since the thirteen disciples of Hongshen, the first Dudjom Dharma King, have achieved success in various ways, practitioners have emerged in an endless stream. Some people's deeds were known during their lifetime, while some people concealed their merits all their lives, and even deliberately showed a deviant image to dance around the world. Therefore, it is good for us to treat various characters and phenomena in the world with a pure heart, and we must not jump to conclusions, let alone criticize monks at will.

If you don't have confidence in a certain monk, or you don't like some of his behavior, you don't need to follow him or get close to him, but never criticize. This is my advice to everyone!Although the network is virtual, its cause and effect are real.

Having said that, I would like to tell you a true story about a monk from Wuming Buddhist Academy:

This monk is called Amo Raodo. He has been relying on the Dharma King Ruyibao for more than ten years at the Wuming Buddhist Institute, and he has great confidence in the Dharma King. But his behavior in appearance was very unlawful, he was idle all day long, wandering around, and the housekeeper of the academy gave him a headache.A few years ago, it seemed that Amorado could no longer endure the strict and harsh life of the college, so he returned to his hometown of Kardze Datata, got married and had children.Seeing him like this, fellow Taoists felt that he had violated his oath and surrendered to depravity, and they all despised him, and the villagers also criticized him a lot.

Once, he said to others: "If I die, I may die with my head down." This means that the death will be ugly and unlucky. After hearing this, everyone satirized him and said: "If you are really capable, you should die in a dignified manner, lest people look down on you when you die." Amo Rado replied: "Well, it's up to you." He pretended to say big things, which was ridiculous.

At the beginning of last year, Amorado felt unwell. One day he dreamed of Dharma King Ruyi Bao, and Dharma King asked him to recite the "Prayer for Universal Knowledge" [-] times to get rid of adverse conditions.According to his master's instructions, he completed the [-] recitations. Afterwards, he saw Dharma King Cintamiya in his dream again, and Dharma King said to him, "Come to me."

The next day, Amorado told his wife about his dream. He said that he will die soon, leaving this world without any sadness or concern. He told his wife to become a monk and practice after his death, not to worry about the future, and he will definitely help her on the way of practice. The children can be sent to an orphan school in Guoluo, Qinghai, and his Vajra brother Genrong Khenpo will take care of their education and life.

After everything was well arranged at home, a few days later, Amo Radha invited several monks to help him recite the "Manjusri Dzogchen Ji Dao Guo Wu Bie Vow" and he meditated beside him. After everyone recited the vow, he opened his eyes and said, "I'm terrible! I didn't die, so do it again." So the monks recited it again.During the second chanting of the vow, Amo Rado sat down and passed away. After passing away, the dharma body sat upright for three days without falling down.

On the third day, people invited the local Living Buddha Majendolo to recite the Dzogchen instructions for Amo Raduo. The Living Buddha got up and was about to leave when he heard a loud noise suddenly, and Amo Raoduo's sitting body fell down.

A few days later, Amo Rado's body shrunk to a very small size, and many auspicious signs symbolizing great achievements appeared during the Dabi, which amazed everyone present. They had a lot of confidence in Amorado, and those who criticized and slandered him before Amorado's lifetime were even more regretful, but in any case, they had lost their faith in front of Amorado. opportunity for repentance.

In the past, Venerable Tilopa liked to eat fish, and the appearances of the eighty siddhas in India were all strange and strange.

In the past, Venerable Bodhi Vajra and Tathagata Buddha studied the Dharma with Venerable Jigme Lingpa in U-Tsang.A few years later, Venerable Jigme Lingpa said: "All my Dharma is handed over to you, you go back to practice and spread the Dharma, we may never see each other again in this life." division. Before leaving, the master said: "You go to the great yogi Chowang Rinzengchenpo to seek the empowerment of a long-lived Buddha, which will be helpful to you." Chowang Rinzenchenpo was the greatest termon recognized in Tibet at that time Has incredible supernatural powers.

Bodhi Vajra, Venerable Tathagata and another brother Jigmey came to the yogi's residence. The yogi was being tormented by his own group of children. When he heard that someone was asking for empowerment, he cursed: "Don't you see how bad I am? Are you trying to mock me?"

After listening to the three of them explain that asking for the empowerment was an instruction from the Guru Jigme Lingpa, the yogi agreed to give them the empowerment.Sitting in the middle of a pile of messy things, he couldn't find the whisk stick for the initiation, so he picked up a poker, took off his leggings and tied it to the end of the stick, and began to initiate initiation for them.In the middle of the process, I suddenly remembered that a vase was needed for the empowerment, so I took a jug as a vase, and shared the nectar in it with the three people to drink.

The person seeking empowerment has no doubts about the teachings of his master and the blessing power of the yogi, and respectfully takes the nectar with his palm and drinks it.Bodhi King Kong even held the vase and drank all the remaining nectar in it.Later, they all got the siddhi of Longevity Buddha and lived to a long life.Bodhi King Kong often said: "I didn't want to live to such an old age. I just blamed the yogis who drank too much nectar. If I wanted to die sooner, I couldn't die!"

I tell these stories to tell you that those practitioners with high internal realization merits may sometimes behave inappropriately, and their appearance cannot be discerned by ordinary people's discrimination at all.

Sangha is one of the three treasures we take refuge in, and it is our helper on the way of practice. If you slander the Sangha at will because of your own discrimination thoughts, you can reflect on yourself to see if your refuge precepts are pure.

The serious fault of slandering the Sangha has been elaborated in many scriptures such as "The Teachings of Ultimate Bliss".Wanton slander will not help your practice, but will cause you to create a lot of bad karma. In this case, not to mention liberation, it will be very difficult to obtain a human body in the next life.

From the perspective of secular life, it is against the principle of personal cultivation, even immoral, to speak freely, to criticize others at will, or to slander maliciously.

I hope that everyone will practice diligently and protect the three doors well. This is what everyone who pursues liberation and happiness should strive to do.
