Chapter 14 Silence
"Dad, why are you here?" I asked without seeing my mother.

"I asked your mother to go to rest. I stayed up with you last night." Dad saw me wake up and took out the breakfast he brought.

"Oh." I felt a little distressed, "Dad, I'm fine, let's leave the hospital."

Dad looked at me and thought for a while, "The car accident is not a trivial matter, let's observe it for a few more days."

"I'm really fine, I just touched it." As he said that, he thought of doing something to show him.

"Don't move." Dad said quickly, "You're still holding the bottle."

When I saw it, I really said, "Then I'll show you after I finish typing. I'm really fine."

"Let's eat first, I will discuss it with your mother later." Dad was unmoved.

"Okay." I was a little weary.

"Susu." Seeing me like this, my father hesitated to speak.

"Huh?" I looked up, "What's wrong?"

Dad shook his head, "It's nothing. Let's eat."

I looked at him suspiciously, knowing that he promised my mother that he would not tell me anything, so I lowered my head and prepared to continue eating.

"Susu, your mother and I love you very much." Dad suddenly said without beginning or end.

I was a little surprised, but I still affirmed, "I know, I know you are here to protect me. I love you very much too."

It's somewhat embarrassing to say such a thing. After I finished speaking, I lowered my head and continued to eat.

Dad smiled gratifiedly and patted my head, "Well, I really have grown up."

"What are you talking about, so happy?"

My father and I looked at the same time, and I called out, "Mom."

"Why don't you rest for a while?" Dad got up and walked to Mom.

"How can I sleep." He said and came to my bed, "Susu, do you feel uncomfortable?"

I shook my head, "No, I think I'm all right." After thinking about it, I looked at my father and continued, "Mom, I want to discuss something with you."

"What's the matter?" Mom also glanced at Dad, who shook his head quickly.

"Mom, I'm all healed." I thought about my words, "Look, how much trouble you have to run back and forth in the hospital, isn't it? I think I can go home and take care of myself."

Mom didn't speak.I think there is a play.

"Really. Mom, I know my body. I'm really fine. Besides, you're a nurse. Don't you still have everything?" I smiled flatteringly.

Mom looked at Dad, and Dad nodded, "Okay, it shouldn't be a big problem seeing you like this." Mom agreed.

The discharge procedure was done very quickly, and we went home in a short time.

He threw himself on his own bed, rolled twice, and said with emotion, "Sure enough, my bed is comfortable."

but……

How can I convince my mother to go to grandma's house?
What if she doesn't let go?

No matter what, things can't be delayed any longer. To be on the safe side, I'll do my father's ideological work first. No, I can only confess.

Dad has gone to work, and I can only wait for him to come back at night. By the way, there is also the diary that Zhenzhen left for me.

The diary is very ordinary, but the inside is very delicate. It can be seen that Zhenzhen's mother likes uncle very much.

The diary records some daily life events. Although it was given to me by Zhenzhen, I always feel that it is not good to read other people's privacy.I just flipped through it casually without looking at it carefully.

The diary will be finished soon.I was a little shocked.

Uncle actually entrusted Zhenzhen's mother with dreams more than once, and repeatedly told her not to go back to the countryside, and every time she came, it was for this matter.Zhenzhen's mother also asked why, but my uncle just kept silent. It seems that what Zhenzhen said is right, there are indeed many doubts about the uncle's death at that time.

Dad didn't know how my uncle died at that time, and grandma didn't say either. It seems that if you want to solve the doubts about my uncle's death, you can only go back to the countryside.

Since I had just been discharged from the hospital, the meal in the evening was also very rich, and everyone at the dinner table was very happy.

After eating, my mother went to pack things, and I sat next to my father with a flattering face.

Dad looked at me amusedly, "Tell me, what's the matter, you need me to help you hide it from your mother."

"Nothing can be hidden from your eyes." I gave a thumbs up.

"Okay, okay, tell me quickly, or your mother will come out." Dad looked at the kitchen and said.

"Dad," I thought about how to speak, "do you think it's better to keep it secret? Or to reveal the truth?"

Dad's expression became serious, "You still want to ask about that?"

"No, I didn't ask about that." I quickly expressed my opinion and continued, "Dad, don't you miss grandma?"

"This..." There was hesitation on Dad's face, and then he thought of something, and his voice suddenly turned cold, "I don't want to. It's fine, go back to your room if you have nothing to do."

"I haven't finished yet." I hugged my father's arm and said coquettishly, "Dad~"

"Okay, okay," Dad's tone softened, "I promised your mother can't tell you. It's not negotiable."

"Yeah, I know." I nodded exaggeratedly, "You love mom the most."

"I'm not asking about this, I just want to go back to the countryside to see grandma." After I finished speaking, I looked at my father's expression and continued, "Grandma often sends us delicious food, which means she misses us very much. But Mom keeps throwing it away, I think there is some misunderstanding in the middle."

"Dad, what you see may not be true, and what you hear may not be true." I continued, "Don't you believe grandma?"

Dad fell silent.

"And uncle." I threw another weight bomb.

"Uncle? What's the matter with your uncle?" Sure enough, Dad lost his temper.

"Remember Zhenzhen?" I looked into my father's eyes, "Zhenzhen told me that my uncle didn't die by drowning."

"What?" Dad was shocked. "What else do you know?"

"Well, my uncle even entrusted Zhenzhen's mother with a dream to prevent her from going back to the village." As I said that, I watched my father's expression.

"Is this what Zhenzhen told you?" Dad looked serious.

I have never seen my father's expression like this before, and I nodded subconsciously.

"Dad, do you agree or not?" After reacting, I asked.

"This... I'll think about it again." Dad got up and went back to the bedroom.

There was a popular drama on TV recently. I glanced at it and found it boring, so I turned it off casually.

Back in the bedroom, lying on the bed sprawled, "Can't I go back?" Turning over and over, I just felt very irritable.

"Heh, you're quite free." A sudden voice came from above the head.

"Ah, yes, I'm very free." I rolled my eyes at him, and that eye saw that I was very free.

"What's wrong?" He asked, patting my head.

"You won't tell me if you ask me." I was still lying on the bed.
