Mind Control and Distraction: Mind Control Techniques for a Lifetime

Chapter 25 Distraction Techniques for Drawing Circles with the Left Hand and Squares with the Right

Chapter 25 Distraction Techniques for Drawing Circles with the Left Hand and Squares with the Right Hand (7)
First, we can look at the family history of the child.Parents of children with bipolar disorder often have a bipolar disorder or alcoholism; second, children with bipolar disorder often have trouble sleeping-some children with bipolar disorder have difficulty waking up in the morning, although they are divided Children with depression sometimes do this too, but children with bipolar disorder are more severe and need to be dragged out of bed to get up.

Once diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the most effective drugs should be atypical antipsychotic drugs and mood stabilizers. Stimulants that have the opposite effect will only make the condition worse.Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (such as Prozac, Lefort, Paxetine, etc.) don't help, and they just make things worse.

For atypical antipsychotics, try aripiprazole (Abilify) first, as it does not cause weight gain.Risperdal is very effective in controlling aggression but can cause severe weight gain.Zyprexa also works well, but may cause type [-] diabetes or abnormal movements.

As for mood stabilizers, you might try Trileptal or Lamictal first, rather than Lithium, Depakote, or Tegretol, because the former Fewer side effects. You must fully communicate with your doctor first to understand the risks of taking these drugs before making a decision.Lithium remains the oldest, best-studied, and most commonly used drug, but it can also have significant side effects. All medications for bipolar disorder have side effects.

Some people take a nutritional supplement called Empowerplus, which contains various vitamin and mineral supplements. Some people have raved about it, but there aren't any studies to prove the supplement's efficacy. It's just health supplements.

If bipolar disorder is diagnosed, other symptoms should also be treated along with it.Antidepressants, such as citalopram (Celexa) 5 mg per day, or other low-dose serotonin reuptake inhibitors may work.If you have both distraction and bipolar disorder, you can increase your stimulant intake to treat distraction once the bipolar disorder has eased somewhat. While we don't know everything about bipolar disorder in children, I think it's a good idea to consider the possibility of bipolar disorder in your child before making a diagnosis of ADD, and especially before starting stimulant treatment, to prevent just in case.

At the same time, we also need to carefully evaluate the living environment of the child. After all, many sick children and adults start from an environment that does not support them. Over time, they develop into problem children or problem adults. They may simply be wrongly labeled as mentally ill.If you have a doctor you can trust, go talk to him and carefully sort out the medical file. It's not that hard, just take your time.

Addiction is the psychological tendency of distracted people
What do you do when there is nothing else in life that gives you pleasure other than alcohol, drugs, or other bad habits? This is a difficult question that many distracted adults have to deal with.I have said before that most distracted people tend to be addicted, probably because of innate biological reasons, they cannot have as much fun in life as normal people.

Distracted people often suffer from substance abuse and other addictions.About 15.00% of the distracted people drink a lot of alcohol, and about [-]% of the distracted people have the experience or intention of smoking marijuana and cocaine.About half of distracted people smoke and have difficulty quitting.About [-]% of distracted people may have anti-social personality and therefore often break the law. These distracted individuals had similar behaviors as children, just not as much as adults. An effective way to deal with addictive tendencies is to completely avoid alcohol, drugs, and all addictive things, such as gambling. You have to find a safer way to replace them.

What if doing nothing else brings you joy? There is no standard answer here. How do you quit if your body wants it all the time? Why would someone pay such a huge price for a quick moment?
My favorite answer is that of 18th-century litterateur Samuel Johnson.Someone asked him, "Why do people in taverns drink so much and make themselves inhuman?" Johnson's answer was: "They drink to forget their pain as human beings."
We know that some people just don't know how to have fun in a safe and healthy way. It's ironic. The more such people tend to have great talents, and many of them are distractions. They must try to find ways to control their addiction so that their talents can manifest. How to control addiction?Although this problem seems to be related to moral issues, it is not entirely something that can be solved by morality. It also depends on physiological conditions.

Alcohol and drugs can make people sacrifice everything, but the fun and peace they bring are temporary and not long-lasting.Were it not for the biological constraints and genetic control, quitting addiction would seem to be the only reasonable option.Thousands of people opt for temporary pleasure, even knowing they will pay a terrible price. The desire to "forget your pain as a human being" is so strong that you are willing to give up everything, even if it is just to forget the pain for a few hours.People who choose drugs, alcohol, and gambling to obtain temporary happiness are not so much weak as they are too desperate. They can't have fun like normal people, and their short-term fun is followed by a whole day of endless pain. They have to find some better way to end the pain than addiction.Establishing a harmonious interpersonal relationship, through friendship, finding someone who can understand and appreciate yourself among close friends and teams, this is probably the best solution.Your companion is your best medicine. The 12-step program (twelve-step program) described below can help you find a partner, but they are not the only way.

Medication can also help. Now, we in the Book of Changes have learned how to prescribe to people who are desperate, depressed, and anxious, so that they no longer rely on wrong self-treatment.Appropriate physical exercise is also very helpful to patients, and it is also the best medicine for body and mind.Paying attention to eating habits and nutritional mix will help patients. For example, taking more omega-12 fatty acids can make people more emotionally stable. The best therapy always includes strategies for building relationships so that people don't feel alone. Most distracted and addicted people have a vague sense of unworthiness and shame in their minds, so in times of desperation they hide from others. They need support from a group, and the [-]-step program, group therapy, and joining a club can all help.

Distractors have an advantage too

If we can master these 5 steps that can make us feel happy in the long run, then we can have happiness in life.As long as we are not in a particularly poor or difficult state, each of us can reap the joy of life.Even among the poor, many people have found joy in life. But there are still many people who don't know how to turn their life into a joyful life. What they lack is an inner tool for transformation. There is a big difference between a rich life and a dissatisfied life: people who are satisfied with their lives tend to keep doing what they love to do, while people who are dissatisfied with their lives tend to give up what they love to do a long time ago. They think it's unrealistic to do what they love all the time. They are timid to try, or lack the enthusiasm to keep trying.Around the age of 30, they decided to try to compromise with life, and they thought that real happiness would not belong to them.In fact, it is never too late to find happiness.Whether you are a distractor or not, no matter what your age, you can create a life of joy and hope in your life.

Almost every chicken soup for the soul about life will tell you: do what you like to do.It is precisely because this sentence appears so frequently that we are accustomed to it and feel that it is a cliché.If you want to be successful, you must find the field you are best at, and then use your talents and various advantages to achieve yourself. If you want to have a happy life, you must not only suppress your shortcomings, but also develop your strengths at the same time.In other words, you not only need to make a plan to get rid of pain, but you also need to make a plan to pursue happiness. There are many books telling people how to avoid pain, or how to deal with pain when it comes. But few books tell us how to create happiness and how to keep it.I found that wealth, fame, and health are not the most important conditions for people to have a happy life. The most important condition is actually inner quality, such as optimistic attitude, good communication skills, maximum self-control ability, ability to do things, strong desire to achieve one thing, etc.

I went on to study how these inner qualities are formed.Part of it comes from genetics, which is out of our control. But after all, heredity cannot determine everything about a person, because the environment and life experience in which a person lives affects the expression of genes. In the past few decades of practicing medicine, I have summarized a 5-step method through a large amount of data analysis and conversations with hundreds of experts, which is suitable for both adults and children. This approach can help people have a happy and fulfilled life. While this 5-step method wasn't originally designed specifically for distracted people, it has proven to be very useful for distracted people. That's how I found my happiness. Most of the happier adults I know live by these 5 steps. These 5 steps form a cycle, one step after another, and the cycle repeats.Once the process starts, it can go on forever, for a lifetime, turning like a windmill. When you activate this 5-step cycle in your own or your child's life, you will immediately see a positive developmental force that will grow stronger and deeper over time. "Connection" is the first step and the most important step.If you want to help someone find happiness, reassure him that he's headed in the right direction.

How to create connection is the key to happiness and health. You can create a connection at any time.Current research shows that people who can create connections with others not only live a very happy life, but most of them live a long life.Living a fully connected life is the most important step toward making yourself happier and healthier.

But what do I mean by "fully connected life"?It includes the following various connections. You don't need to have all the connections, in fact, you should be careful not to have too many.If you think of a joint as a garden, careful pruning will make the plants grow more lushly, but if you let the plants grow too much, the garden will be messy.

1.family.For most people, this is the core connection. If you don't feel a family connection, don't worry, you can find it elsewhere.Remember, connection and conflict are two sides of the same coin.If you have conflict with your family, you are actually connected to your family. The opposite of bonding is not conflict, it's not caring.

2.Friends and community. For many people, friends can become their extended family.

3.school or work.If you're popular at school or at work, if you have a friend or two, it's a lot better.Kids who get into trouble tend to be unconnected at home and at school, new research shows.Conversely, the bonds of home and school can convey great strength to children and provide them with protection.

4.Activity.If you find a few activities you enjoy, you're likely to build joy, confidence, and self-esteem through them, even if they have nothing to do with school or work.

5.Art.Music, painting, literature, film, dance, sculpture, etc.The sense of connection provided by art can bring great joy to people.

6.Groups, teams, institutions.Whether it's a club, a team, or an institution or committee that shares your beliefs, these connections convey a sense of meaning and need.

7.pet.Some of our deepest emotions, our warmest, most positive energy come from our pets.

8.Nature.This connection provides us with strength, joy, inspiration, and a place to play.

9.Thoughts and information.During the learning process, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable connecting with the information.Fear and shame are the most vulnerable to hurting connections. You want to make sure that the learning environment is free of fear and shame, as these are the most dangerous barriers to learning.

10.spiritual world.Whatever your connections, whatever your beliefs and traditions, are worth cultivating, aside from knowledge.

11.past.Develop your own awareness of past history, know your traditions and the stories of your ancestors, you will become more aware of why you are here at this moment, which will connect you to the meaning of life.

12.yourself.A connection with each of the above areas will naturally lead to a connection with oneself.Distracted people tend to feel uncomfortable with themselves. The best countermeasure is to strengthen their connection with the outside world.

Creating a fully connected life takes time and effort to sustain, but if you maintain those connections, you'll find that many stresses that may affect others don't affect you.A balanced and connected life will allow you to have a happy life that is not easy to be knocked down.

Regardless of age, people who are well connected to the outside world naturally feel safe and have the courage to go to step 2: play. The game mentioned here refers to allowing you to use your imagination to actively participate in any more meaningful activities that are creative, and the opposite of the game is to do things according to other people's words.

While playing the game, your brain will be active. This is where you can find joy in life, so pay attention to what's going on.We can't enjoy playing games in everything.Once you find an activity that allows you to play, and your mind is active while playing, you have found what I called "gold".The best way to "dig for gold" in a distractor's brain, or anyone's brain, is games.

When playing a game, you're likely to enter a state that psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi calls "flow."In a flow state, you become one with what you are doing. You forget who you are, where you are, and your brain lights up.

The more games you try, the more likely you will find an activity that allows you to let your imagination run wild, enjoy the game, and even enter a state of flow. These activities might be gardening, maybe skiing, or playing stocks.

Once you find an activity that allows you to enjoy the game, you will want to do it repeatedly. This is called practice, which is step 3.The exercises generated through the game will be the ones you really want to do, and you don't need anyone to force you to.

After continuous practice, your technique will naturally be superb, and this is step 4.You don't have to be the best, but you will make progress.A sense of progress strengthens self-esteem, confidence, and motivation.

Distracted people tend to have low self-esteem, low self-confidence, and weak motivation. The best way to do this is to walk them through the steps until they can see their own progress.Competence gives them self-esteem, confidence and motivation.

When you keep improving, others will definitely notice and appreciate your achievements. That's the affirmation in step 5.Affirmations will not only further strengthen your self-esteem and self-confidence, but will also connect you with those who appreciate you.

People who are prone to stealing, vandalism, or other immoral behaviors often see themselves as disconnected from society. If you feel connected to society, you feel part of it, and naturally you don't want to do wrong.Distracted children often break the rules of the game, even break the law, have behavioral problems and develop antisocial personality disorder as adults. For them, the best treatment method is the 5 steps, that is, let them connect with the society.

The 5-step process naturally brings many benefits to the distracted person: security, enthusiasm, love of an activity, discipline, confidence, self-esteem, motivation, and socialized behavior.

This 5-step cycle allows the distracted person to develop talents and strengths and stimulates the patient to achieve without the use of intimidation or nagging.

The most common mistake adults make is to immediately jump to step 5, which is asking themselves or their children to keep practicing. It may be effective in the short term, but in the long run all the efforts often come to nothing.Parents should focus on steps 1 and 2, and the rest will flow in a natural cycle.
