Chapter 64 Flammables

Chapter 64 Flammables

After eating the meat he roasted, the sky was getting dark.

Chi Zhenzhen touched his forehead again, and it was no longer hot. It seemed that the medicine had worked.

Since he was leaving for Chifang Valley tomorrow, Chi Zhen really wanted to rest early to refresh himself.

Luo Gu spread several layers of animal skins on the hay, and even wanted to build a fire in front of the hay.

"There's no need for the fire." Chi Zhenzhen saw him doing this, thinking whether he should take this opportunity to take out the sleeping bag and use it, so that he wouldn't have to turn into a beast every night.

"Why not?"

"Because it's dangerous."

Chi Zhenzhen blinked and said, "You see, this dead grass is also a flammable thing. What if it burns over at night without paying attention? And..."

"You're right." Luo Gu touched his chin and interrupted her, "Then you should rely on my body to keep warm tonight."

"..." Chi Zhenzhen pursed his lips, reorganized his words and said, "Actually, I have a magical thing, do you want me to introduce it to you?"

"what?"

Luo Gu was not interested in her magical things at all, and when she told the function and usage of this sleeping bag, he was even less interested.

"Your thing is not as thick as these animal skins, put it away." If she really slept in that sleeping bag, the chances of contact would be even less, so he would not allow it.

Chi Zhenzhen listened and was not convinced: "Don't underestimate this sleeping bag of mine. It has a constant temperature. Do you know what a constant temperature is? Do you understand that it is warm in winter and cool in summer?"

"I don't understand." He didn't want to understand either, "Hurry up and put it away, don't let me do it myself."

Hey, he is a real guy, and the sleeping bag is not for him, why is he resisting? !
"Still putting it away." Seeing that she hadn't moved yet, Luo Gu reminded her again.

Chi Zhenzhen gave him a dissatisfied look, and had no choice but to fold the sleeping bag back into the backpack again. After all, his expression looked like a piece of paper that could tear her sleeping bag to pieces at any time.

Even though the sleeping bag might not be useful here now, she believed there would always be a place for it.

"Then you can rest now." Chi Zhenzhen, who had packed his sleeping bag, went to the haystack to try the animal skins that were laid out, and the thick layers were still warm and comfortable.

Luo Gu hummed, and went to the fire to add some firewood to keep the fire burning, at least it would drive away some cold.

However, just when Chi Zhenzhen was about to lie down and rest, the outside of the cave suddenly became lively.

Listening carefully, it was clearly some noise, and the noise was getting closer and closer.

"What happened outside?" Chi Zhenzhen wrapped his clothes tightly and immediately became vigilant. Could it be that Chi Lang appeared again?
Luo Gu shook his head, apparently not knowing what happened: "Stay here."

Chi Zhenzhen nodded, watched Luo Gu go out, and stood up curiously.

"Luogu's spouse! Are you there? Please help us!"

"Help us! Help us!"

Someone ask her for help?

Chi Zhenzhen walked out of the cave, and sure enough, he saw some people surrounded outside the cave.

Judging by the appearance of these people, they really wanted to rush in, but because of Luo Gu standing there, no one dared to really rush in.

"Luo Gu!" At this moment, Aunt Luo Gu came out from the crowd with a worried look on her face.

"What's the matter?" Luo Gu couldn't stop his mother, he frowned and asked.

Grandma looked at him and said, "Luo Gu, she really has the ability to heal, doesn't she? Let her come out and help look after a few children."

Chi Zhenzhen also heard what Grandma said, and she hurried over, and the people surrounding the cave became even more noisy.

They were all begging her for help loudly and noisyly, but she couldn't hear clearly what to help.

"Really, there are a few children who are not feeling well, can you go and take a look?" Grandma saw her coming out, and looked at her quickly.

"Uncomfortable?" Chi Zhenzhen glanced at Luo Gu, but he didn't stop him, "Why is it uncomfortable? Wait a minute, I'll go in and get something."

Chi Zhenzhen turned around and went into the cave to pick up his backpack, and was surrounded by the crowd and walked towards another cave.

Originally, Grandma was explaining to her what happened, but the people around her all wanted to explain, so her head would get loud.

When they finally reached the cave, those people were still clamoring eagerly, and they seemed to want to follow in to see the end.

Chi Zhenzhen stopped, took a deep breath, and shouted loudly: "Don't worry, I will try my best, but I also need your cooperation now. If there is no special need, please don't come in, okay?"

The crowd froze, and nodded worriedly.

Chi Zhenzhen breathed a sigh of relief and followed Luo Gu and his mother into the cave.

I heard from my mother that these children were fine during the day without any discomfort, but not long after it got dark, they started to feel hot all over, until they lost consciousness.

"So the uncomfortable symptoms of these children all happened at the same time?" Chi Zhenzhen walked in front of these children. There were five children in total, all lying on the ground unconsciously.

"It should be, their grandmas all came to look for me at the same time." Grandma answered her.

Chi Zhenzhen glanced at the anxious men and women beside him, they should be the parents of the child.

She didn't ask any more questions, and stretched out the back of her hand to touch the foreheads and palms of the five children. The fever was not low, and she had to cool down quickly.

"Go and help me prepare cold water and put it in pottery." Chi Zhenzhen said while taking the pulse of the children, "Go and see if there are any other children with fever in the tribe."

"Okay, okay, let's go right away!" The guarded men rushed to fetch water.

"Luo Gu's spouse, um, what does it mean to have a fever?" asked the mother of a child.

"..." Chi Zhenzhen swallowed speechlessly, and explained, "Just like their current state, they are hot and uncomfortable."

"Okay, I understand." The child's grandmother couldn't bear to leave her child, so she ran outside the cave in a hurry and asked the guards outside to watch it.

After finishing the order, Chi Zhenzhen took the medicine box out of his backpack.

These children had a high fever and were unconscious, and the effect of taking antipyretics was far from that of a direct injection. She thought she should have spare antipyretic needles in her medicine box.

Sure enough, she found a box of antipyretic injections, which was more than enough for the five children.

"Luo, Luo Gu's spouse, what are you going to do?!" The mothers guarding the child saw her take out several sharp objects, and immediately shouted vigilantly.

Chi Zhenzhen was startled by the cry. Before he could react, he was pushed by a woman. He fell to the ground and almost dropped the injection.

"What are you doing?!" Luo Gu burst out, scaring the mothers who were protecting the children to tremble.

"She wants to hurt my child!" But there was still a bold grandmother shouting, "The thing in her hand must not be a good thing!"

Chi Zhenzhen pushed away Luo Gu's hand that was holding her, and became serious: "Do you really want your child to live?"
