Chapter 44
[Original text]

The most soft in the world, galloping [1] The most firm in the world.Nothing enters into nothingness.I know that doing nothing is beneficial.

Teaching without speaking, benefiting from doing nothing, the world hopes [2] to reach it.

【Note】

[1] galloping: Mercedes-Benz, freely vertically and horizontally, here is the usage of using verbs, referring to driving.

[2] Xi: Rare.

【Analysis】

The weakest thing in the world can ride freely on the hardest thing in the world. The invisible penetrates the seamless.I learned from it that doing nothing must be beneficial.

Few people in the world can really realize the benefits of not teaching with words and doing nothing.

In fact, the reason is very simple. The water is soft, but it can travel freely on the solid earth; the sound is invisible, but it can penetrate steel or crystal without gaps. This is the principle of "inaction" and "Tao".Ordinary people always pay attention to things that can be seen, touched, and picked up, but ignore those things that cannot be seen, touched, or picked up.

【Explanation by Famous Artists】

Mr. He Shang:
The softest is water. Those who are most firm are gold and stone.Water can penetrate the solid and penetrate the rigid, omnipotent.Nothing is called Tao.Dao has no form and quality, so it can go in and out of the world, and it can communicate with the gods and benefit the group.I have seen that inaction leads to the transformation of all things, so knowing that inaction is beneficial to people.

Fa Dao does not speak, but is handsome.Dharma and Tao do nothing, governing the body is beneficial to the spirit, governing the country is beneficial to the people, and it is not troublesome. The world is governed by people. It is hoped that there will be a way of governing the body and the country that is as good as Tao and inaction.
