Bodhisattva said: "Since there are good fruits, I will give you a Dharma name."

Wukong thought it was funny, and Guanyin also gave him a name, but said: "I am already famous, and my name is Sun Wukong."

The Bodhisattva said happily: "There are two people who have surrendered in front of me, and they are the characters of "Wu". Now you are also with the word "Wu", but you are compatible with him, very good, very good. You don't need to tell me, I will go."

How did Guanyin know that the people with the word "Wu" went west to learn Buddhist scriptures, but it was because of Hongyun that he got the name for Wukong and set the number of days, he just followed the number of days.

Avalokitesvara replied: "If you put on my cassock, you will not fall into perdition, hell, evil, and tigers and wolves. If you are a foolish monk who is greedy for lust and pleasure in misfortune, or a monk who does not fast or fast, you will destroy scriptures." It is not good for ordinary people who slander the Buddha to see my cassock face."

Taizong heard this exaggeration, so he asked again: "Why do you want money, and don't want money?"

Avalokitesvara said: "If you don't follow the Buddhist teachings, don't respect the Three Jewels, buy cassocks and tin sticks by force, you must sell them for 7000 taels. Xizhang, I would like to give it to him, and form a good relationship with me, that means no money."

Taizong was hesitant when he heard the words, but at this moment he heard the prime minister Xiao Yu playing: "Your Majesty asked Pharaoh Chen to do it and set up a water and land assembly. This cassock happened to be worn by Master Xuanzang. Why don't you just buy it and give it to the Master."

Move, there are seven Buddhas with you..."

Taizong thought that he couldn't see that the person in front of him was transformed by Avalokitesvara. Although he had been enlightened by Yunxiao and had some supernatural powers, he had not entered the door of cultivation. He thought that the old monk in front of him was exaggerating on purpose and wanted him to buy the cassock and Zen staff. Elder, I will tell you the truth. There are many monks gathered in the Huasheng Temple today, and among them there is a virtuous man named Xuanzang. If I buy these two treasures from you, it will be a blasphemy to the Buddha treasure. Why don't you take a look He and this group of monks are the ones you said have a predestined relationship!"

Hearing the words, Avalokitesvara clasped his palms together with Mucha to take refuge, and said: "Since he has virtue, the poor monk is willing to give him away, and he will never ask for money."

When Taizong heard this, he didn't expect it, so he said, "You originally said that the cassock was 5000 taels, and the tin staff was 2000 taels. You saw that I would not buy it, and you didn't want money. Do you think that I want to rely on the throne and force your things? If this is the case, I will pay you according to your original price, but it cannot be evaded."

Avalokitesvara raised his hand and said: "The poor monk has a wish first. It was originally said that if someone respects the Three Jewels and rejoices when he sees good things, he will take refuge in my Buddha and don't need money. I would like to give it to him. Now I see that your majesty is virtuous and only good, and respects my Buddhism. What's more, The eminent monk is virtuous and deeds, and preaches Dafa, so he should offer it up, and no money is required. The poor monk would like to see the face of Xuanzang, and personally give him these two treasures."

Emperor Taizong was very happy to see the old monk's words and diligence, so he ordered Xuan Xuanzang to come up to see the ceremony.

Seeing Xuanzang's true face, Avalokitesvara was satisfied, and asked, "Master Xuanzang, what kind of Buddhist teachings do you know?"

Xuanzang had no choice but to answer: "I know the Sutra of Receiving Life and Death, Anbang Tianbao Zhuan, and Encouraging Xiugong Volume."

When Guanyin heard this, regardless of Li Shimin's presence, he clapped his hands and said in a loud voice: "Since you are called the Great Master, don't you only talk about Hinayana teachings and not Mahayana?"

When Xuanzang heard this, he raised his hand to Guanyin and said, "Master, father, I have lost sight of you and committed many sins. The monks before me all taught the Hinayana teachings, but they don't know what the Mahayana teachings are like."

Avalokitesvara said: "Your Hinayana teachings can't save the dead from exaltation, but can only be muddy and light. I have the Tripitaka of Mahayana Buddhism, which can surpass the dead to ascend to heaven, can save the difficult from suffering, can cultivate the body of infinity, and can do infinity. Come and go."

Taizong heard the words and said: "What is the difference between Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism?"

Avalokitesvara said: "Your Majesty, the Hinayana teachings cannot save the dead from ascending to heaven. The Tripitaka of Mahayana Buddhism can save the dead from suffering, and the life will not be damaged."

Taizong Zhengsexi asked: "Where does your Mahayana Buddhism lie?"

The Bodhisattva said: "In the place of Buddha Tathagata at the Daleiyin Temple in the Great Western Tianzhu Kingdom, I can untie the knots of a hundred grievances and eliminate innocent disasters."

Taizong said: "Do you remember?"

Avalokitesvara smiled and said, "The poor monk will naturally remember."

Taizong rejoiced and said: "Teacher lead me away, please come to the stage and give a lecture. Let me and my subjects see Mahayana Buddhism."

Avalokitesvara knew that today's practice had reached the time to show his holiness, so he took a wooden fork, flew up to the high platform, and then stepped on the auspicious clouds until he reached the sky, where he appeared as the original body of the rescuer, holding the willow in the clean bottle.On the left is Mucha Hui'an, clinging to the iron rod and vigorously, but it is really golden and auspicious.

When the Tang Dynasty came to Daoist country, it didn't believe in Buddhism at first, but Taizong got the order to do something to merge Buddhism and Taoism, so he had to pay homage to Guanyin with his subjects.

Taizong saw that all the monks in the temple also praised him, so he asked all the monks: "Who is willing to accept my order and go to the west to worship Buddha and ask for scriptures?"

Xuanzang was in front of the throne, and immediately stepped forward to salute: "The poor monk is not talented. I would like to do the work of a dog and a horse, and ask your majesty for the truth. I pray that my king will last forever."

Taizong was overjoyed, and stepped forward to raise his imperial hand and said: "Master, if he can do this kind of loyalty, he is not afraid of long journeys and trekking mountains and rivers. I am willing to worship you as a brother."

Xuanzang bowed his head to thank him. Taizong was very virtuous, so he went to the temple in front of the Buddha and worshiped Xuanzang four times.

Xuanzang thanked him endlessly and said: "Your Majesty, what virtue and ability does this poor monk have, how dare he be so favored by God? When I go, I will definitely sacrifice my life and work hard until the Western Paradise. If I don't reach the Western Paradise, I won't get the scriptures, even if I die." If you dare to return to the country, you will fall into hell forever." Sui burned incense in front of the Buddha, taking this as an oath.

Taizong was overjoyed, so he chose Liangli Richen, and sent Xuanzang out of Chang'an for thirty miles to see him go west, and then returned to Chang'an.

Xuanzang drove his horse to the west alone, but he didn't know what the road ahead was, how he would survive the calamity set by the saint.
