On the lotus platform, Tathagata clasped his palms together and said, "Honorable Guanyin, look at those two Monkey Kings, who is real?"

Avalokitesvara said: "The disciples had identified it the day before yesterday, but they couldn't identify it, so they went to the place of Dizang. They have been listening to the gods and beasts and couldn't tell them apart. They fought here again, and they violated my Buddha's teaching."

Upon hearing this, the Tathagata smiled and said, "It's okay. It's okay." Then he looked at the bodhisattvas and arhats below and said, "You have great powers, and you can only read the things of the sky, but you can't know all the things in the sky, and you can't know the types of the sky. .”

After hearing these words, Guanyin immediately said, "Please tell me, Buddha, what is the type of Zhoutian?"

Tathagata said lightly: "There are five immortals in Zhoutian, they are heaven, earth, gods, men and ghosts. There are five insects, which are scales, feathers and kuns. False Wukong is neither heaven, earth, god, human, nor ghost, nor scales, hairs, feathers, nor ghosts. Kun. It's the four monkeys who don't belong to the ten categories."

"The Four Monkeys of the Confused World?" Guanyin had never heard of such a saying, and asked immediately: "My Buddha, may I ask who are the Four Monkeys of the Confused World?"

Tathagata smiled and said: "The first is the spirit stone monkey, which can understand changes, know the time of day, know the location, and move stars to change battles. The second is the red-legged horse monkey, which understands Yin and Yang, understands human affairs, is good at going in and out, avoids death and prolongs life. The third is The arm-armed ape, grasps the sun and the moon, shrinks thousands of mountains, distinguishes the rest from the wrong, and fiddles with the universe. The fourth is the six-eared macaque, which is good at listening to sounds, can perceive things, knows before and after, and understands everything. These four monkeys are not among the top ten. The species of the species does not reach the name of the two. In my opinion, the fake Wukong is a six-eared macaque. If this monkey stands in one place, it can know things thousands of miles away. Ordinary people can also understand it when they speak. Therefore, they are good at listening and can understand , knowing before and after, everything is clear. The one who has the same image and sound as the real Wukong is also the six-eared macaque.”
