Tripitaka: There is a law and a collection, Talking about the sky; discussing one collection, talking about the earth; having one collection of scriptures, saving ghosts. It is really the path of cultivation, the door of righteousness, and the astronomy and geography of the four continents of the world. , human beings, birds and beasts, flowers and trees, utensils, personnel affairs, everything is not recorded. When you come from afar, you will be given to you to take it all, but you are afraid that the people there will be stupid and stubborn, slander the truth, and do not know the mystery of my monk Purpose."

After fasting, open the treasure pavilion, and take 35 of my Tripitaka. When Anuo saw this, he didn't dare to ask for property anymore, and said: "What is this place, you are still acting wild! Come here and continue the scriptures."

Seeing this, Monk Bajie held his temper, persuaded the walker, and turned around to pick him up.One roll was put in the bag, and it was carried on the horse. Ba Jie and Drifting carried two more loads, but they came to the throne and kowtowed, thanked the Tathagata, and went out.Whenever you meet a Buddha, you should pay your respects twice; when you see a Bodhisattva, you should pay your respects twice.Going to the gate again, I paid homage to the monks, nuns, upas, and Sai, and said goodbye to each other one by one, and went down the mountain without mentioning the road.

But he said that there was an ancient lamp-burning Buddha on the treasure pavilion. He listened to the story of passing the scriptures secretly in the pavilion, and he knew very well that it was Anuo and Jiaye who passed on the wordless scriptures, but he laughed to himself and said: Dongtu The monks are foolish and ignorant of the scriptures without words, but the journey of the holy monk was not in vain?Ask: "Who is here?"

Only Venerable Bai Xiong flashed out.The ancient Buddha said: "You can act like a god, Feixing catches up with Tang Monk, snatches the scripture without words, and teaches him to come to get the scripture with words."

Venerable Bai Xiong rode the strong wind and rolled away from the gate of Leiyin Temple, showing great power.That good wind.

Sanzang and the others were walking, when they suddenly heard the fragrant wind blowing, they thought it was the auspiciousness of the Buddha, and they didn't take precautions.Hearing another bang, he stretched out a hand in mid-air, and lightly snatched the scriptures carried by the horse, causing Sanzang to beat his chest and scream, and Ba Jie rolled to the ground to chase after him. Monk Sha was guarding the load of scriptures. The traveler hurried to go like flying.The Venerable Bai Xiong, seeing that the traveler was approaching, was afraid that his stick would have no eyes and would injure his body indiscriminately for a while, so he crushed the sutra bag and threw it into the dust.

Seeing that the sutra bag was broken and blown away by the fragrant wind, the traveler pressed down on the cloud head, and Gu Jing did not chase after it.Venerable Bai Xiong calmed down the wind and mist, and returned to the ancient Buddha.

But he said that the ancient Buddha was the master of the lamp, and he was ordered by the seven saints to set up this catastrophe.On that day, the Seven Sages had a meeting, and it was strictly stated that these four people went to the west to learn scriptures, and there were three calamities and seven disasters, and there was another catastrophe in the future, which was co-hosted by the Seven Sages. It was to explain the cause and effect for the four of them, point out the previous life, and achieve the true immortality. This one.

Don't talk about this, but Bajie went after him, and seeing the scriptures fell down, he and the traveler packed up and carried them, and came to see Tang Seng.

Tang Seng said with tears in his eyes: "Apprentice! In this world of bliss, there are still fierce demons oppressing you!"

Drifting took the Sanjing that was in his arms, and when he opened it, it turned out to be white with no writing on it, so he hurriedly handed it to Sanzang, "Master, there are no words in this volume."

When Xingzhe opened another volume to read, there were no words.Bajie opened a volume, but there were no words.

Sanzang said in surprise, "Open them all and have a look." The scrolls were all blank paper.Immediately, he sighed and said, "I am a native of the East, so I am not blessed! What's the use of taking away such a blank copy without words? How dare you meet the king of Tang! The crime of deceiving the king is a crime that cannot be punished!"

The traveler was silent for a while, and he understood the reason, so he said to Tang Seng: "Master, needless to say, this is Anuo and Kaye Nasi. They asked me if I wanted personnel, so I brought this white paper book with us. Hurry up." Go back and sue Tathagata for the crime of greed for money and cheating."

Bajie yelled: "That's right! That's right! Tell him to come!" The four people hurried back to the mountain, and then turned to Leiyin to meet the Tathagata.

Not long after, when they arrived at the gate of the mountain, all the people greeted each other with cupped hands, and said with a smile: "The holy monk came here to change scriptures?"

Sanzang nodded in wonder, seeing that all the Vajras didn't stop him, and they didn't report layer by layer like before, let him go in, and then went straight to the front of the Daxiong Hall.

Where did the traveler still care about the official script, he jumped up and shouted: "Tathagata! Our masters and apprentices have endured a lot of hard work. They worshiped here from the east. They were ordered by the Tathagata to pass on the scriptures, but they were bribed by Anuo and Jiaye. They cheated. , deliberately taught us to take the wordless white paper, what use are we to take it! Let the Tathagata tell us!"

The Buddha said with a smile, "Stop shouting. I already know the two of them asking you about personnel matters. But the scriptures should not be passed on lightly, nor can they be taken in vain. When they went down the mountain to all the monks and monks, they once shared this scripture." I recited it with Elder Zhao in Shewei State, to keep the living in his family safe and the dead to be liberated. I only got three buckets and three liters of rice and gold from him. .You came here empty-handed, so you have passed on the white book. The white book is a scripture without words, which is good. Because all the sentient beings in the eastern lands of you are ignorant and do not realize it, so you can only pass it on to your ears."

At the moment, he said again: "Anuo and Jiaye, soon there will be scriptures with words, and each of them will check a few volumes with him, and come here to report the number."

The second venerable led the four people back, went under the treasure pavilion of Zhenlou, and still asked the Tang monk for some personnel.Sanzang had nothing to flatter him, so he ordered Drifting Monk to take out the purple gold bowl, and offered it with both hands, saying: "The disciples are poor and far away, and have no personnel. This bowl was given by the king of Tang himself. I teach my disciples to hold it and make fast along the road. Today, I am special I offer you this, to show my heart, the Venerable Wan Wang is not contemptuous and contemptuous, I will accept this, and I will be grateful to the king of Tang when I return to the court. It is just given by the scriptures with words. It's labor involved."

Anuo answered it, but smiled slightly.Those warriors in charge of Zhenlou, Pao Ding in charge of Xiangji, and the venerable in charge of the pavilion, you wipe his face, I pounce on his back, snap fingers, twist lips, one by one said with a smile: "Don't be ashamed! Don't be ashamed! You need to be ashamed!" The person who asks for scriptures!"

Xu Yu wrinkled his face in shame, but just held on to the bowl.But Jiaye just went into the pavilion to examine the scriptures, and checked with Sanzang one by one, but Sanzang called: "Apprentices, it's easy for you to take a look at this time, it's not like you took the empty copy last time."

The three of them took one volume and read one volume, but they all had words.Five thousand and forty-eight volumes have been handed down, which is the number of one collection. They are neatly packed and carried on the horse, and the rest are loaded with a load, which Bajie carries.Drifting carries his own bag.The traveler led the horse, the Tang monk took the tin stick, pressed the Vairocana cap, and shook the brocade cassock.

Anuo and Jiaye led Tang monks to see the Tathagata, and the Tathagata ascended the lotus seat, commanded the two great arhats, the Dragon Subduing and the Fuhu, to ring the cloud chime, and invited three thousand Buddhas, three thousand Jiedi, Eight Vajras, four Bodhisattvas, and five hundred statues Arhats, eight hundred bhikkhus, upasakas, nuns, and upasikas, all heavens and caves, sacred mountains in the blessed land, holy monks big and small, those who should sit on the throne, and those who should stand stand on both sides.For a time, heavenly music was heard in the distance, the sound of immortals was loud and melodious, the sky was full of auspicious lights, and the auspicious aura was full of auspiciousness. All the Buddhas gathered together and saw the Tathagata.

Tathagata asked: "Anuo, Kaye, how many scriptures have you passed on to him? You can count them one by one."

The two venerables immediately opened the newspaper: "Pay now to the Tang Dynasty:

"Nirvana Sutra" four hundred volumes,

"Bodhisattva Sutra" 360 volumes,

Twenty volumes of "The Canon of the Void"...,...,...,...

Fourteen volumes of The Great Peacock Sutra,

Ten volumes of "Visual Consciousness Lun Jing",
"Ju She Lun Jing" ten volumes.In the Zongjing, there are 35 volumes in total, 48 volumes were found in each volume, and they were left in the Tang Dynasty with the biography of the holy monks in the East.Now they are all tidied up and put on the burdens of people and horses, just waiting for thanks. The three Tibetans and the four others tied up their horses, rested their burdens, bowed their hands together, and bowed upwards.Tathagata said to Tang Monk: "The merits of this sutra cannot be weighed. Although it is a reference for our sect, it is actually the source of the three teachings. If you go to your Nanbuzhou and show it to all sentient beings, you must not take it lightly. You must bathe and fast. Do not open the book, it is the most important treasure! It contains the mystery of becoming an immortal and the Tao, as well as the strange recipe for inventing myriad transformations."

Sanzang kowtowed to thank him, accepted and practiced it, and still bowed three times to the Buddha, sincerely and sincerely, and left with the scriptures.Go to the Sanshan Gate, and thank the saints one by one.

After Tathagata sent Tang Seng away, the sutra preaching meeting was dispersed.Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva flashed to the side and put his palms together to enlighten the Buddha: "The disciple who received the golden decree to find the scriptures in the East has now succeeded. It took a total of 14 years, which is [-] days, and it is still [-] days less. It is not suitable for Tibetans." Count. I hope that my World-Honored One will give the holy monks back to the east and west, and within eight days, the concubine will finish the number, and the quasi-disciple will return the gold decree, face the seven sages, and confer merits on the four of them, which is a great achievement."

Tathagata rejoiced and said: "What you said is very appropriate, and you must pay the gold decree."

That is to say, the Eight Great Vajras ordered: "Use your divine power quickly to send the holy monk back to the east with a cloud, pass on the scriptures, and then immediately lead the holy monk back to the west. You must complete a collection of books within eight days. , don’t delay.”

King Kong immediately caught up with Tang Seng and shouted, "Follow me, those who learn the scriptures!"

Tang Seng and others are light and healthy, and they are swaying at the moment. Following the King Kong, they rise up on the clouds and go to the eastern land of the Great Tang Kingdom.
