Lu Chen took off his gloves. There was nothing to say about how much of a mess Liao Yan was. Even now, his gloves were covered in a stench. No one would want to touch him.

"Mmhmm." Han Meng nodded. He couldn't stand the smell in there.

"Also, speaking about Liao Yan, what did you do with Bai Lei?" Lu Chen dealt with Liao Yan, while Han Meng had Bai Lei.

Han Meng smiled, "Do you want to know?"

"Of course not." With that smile of yours, there's no way it's anything good. Like Lu Chen, Han Meng's smile always meant he did something.

"But Elder Bai asked me about his son. He was wondering what had happened to him. He'll probably give you something in return for him." Unlike Liao Yan, Bai Geming seemed to value Bai Lei more.

"Don't need anything for him." Han Meng scoffed.

"Mmhmm. But I need to know whether he's alive or not." Before Bai Geming left his office, he asked him to find out whether or not Bai Lei was alive. It seemed he had an inkling that Lu Chen knew the person who had taken him.

"He's not dead...Yet." Han Meng said.

"...I see. Well, I'll let Elder Bai know." Lu Chen cooly answered. He was only the messenger and nothing more.

Lu Chen and Han Meng returned to the gym. Lu Chen asked, "Elder Zi, can you take a couple of people to clean the brat up."

"Come back any time." Actually, come here more. That way, you can de-energize this beast! Zi Han glanced at Han Meng, who was bruised up as well. With how the two fought, it made Han Meng gasp from exhaustion.

"Mmhmm." Lu Chen left.

Watching him leave,

"I do not want to be on the kid's hit list." Zi Han said calmly.

There was one time he went there. And that was the last time. He could hear Liao Yan's screams. It was agonizing. And no one was there to help him.

He was all alone.

"I'm more afraid of the people who tried to target his family instead." Han Meng said with a smirk.

"Lu Chen isn't the scariest when he's being targeted. But it's when the person targets his family." He saw it. The fight between Lu Chen and Greed Viper.
