Lu Xiaotong looked at his wife, "Dear, shouldn't you put that away. We're eating." While they ate, Zhang Wenling stared at the album the whole time.

Zhang Wenling scoffed, "No way! Someone is going to take it!" That was her precious treasure. There was no way she could let this be stolen.

"..." No one is going to take it! None of them wanted to take it away from her. They really didn't care about it. But it seemed Zhang Wenling didn't believe them as she still had it close to her side.

"..." Lu Xiaotong turned to Lu Chen, signaling him for help. But Lu Chen was dealing with something else.

"Young master, ahh." Kang Shuchun extended her fork to Lu Chen's mouth, and the latter ate it. The two of them were in their own world, without a care in the world.

"..." There was nothing to be said. This whole stint lasted throughout dinner.

Lu Chen sat at his table and thought about it. It's time to increase my company. He knew it was time. Looking at his phone, he started dialing,

"Hello?" On the other side was a female voice. Lu Chen smiled,

"Is this Ms. Kong?"

Lu Chen could only grab his head. He was still off after what happened between Feng Meifeng and him. I should go talk to her after this.

Feng Meifeng hadn't responded to him. He tried calling and texting her, but there was no response. As he thought about talking to Feng Meifeng,

"Hello, handsome. I haven't seen you at this college." A couple of girls walked up to him. Lu Chen was alone and stood out. But Lu Chen scoffed,

"What do you want?" His voice was cold as he answered. And the girls flinched,

"Um."

"If you haven't nothing else to say, then leave." Not looking at them further, he stared out the window. And the girls were stun-locked as they couldn't say anything to Lu Chen.

Lu Chen exuded an aura of not wanting to be touched or talked to. He wanted to be alone. And this lasted a couple of minutes before Kong Qingzhu came,

"Sorry, I'm late." Kong Qingzhu noticed Lu Chen. And when everyone saw Kong Qingzhu calling out to Lu Chen, they understood.

This man was taken.

Lu Chen smiled, "Please have a seat. I hope you like milk tea." He bought two cups of milk tea.
