Lu Chen turned to the group, "Sorry about that. I was lost in my own thoughts. Good work out there, Jingyi." Despite focusing on his phone, he heard everything they said.

Chu Jingyi shook his head, "I should be the one thanking you for giving me this chance, CEO." Lu Chen was the only one who helped him when he was down.

If Lu Chen didn't, the worst-case scenario might have happened to him.

And the risks were higher than the benefits of his joining. ARCS could have been dragged down with slander and hate because of him. Chu Jingyi knew he had to repay the favor.

"You don't need to thank me. You should thank Silverlight for releasing you." Lu Chen laughed. Without Silverlight doing that, his company wouldn't have gotten to this point.

"If you want to show that you're superior to Lai Liqin in every way, I can arrange it for you." Lu Chen said with an evil look on his face. Destroying Lai Liqin was enough to cause pain for Silverlight.

"But what about the company?" Chu Jingyi asked. He still remembered that incident with Zhang Jian. Because he joined ARCS, the other side had backed out.

"You don't have to worry about it. I'll find a way to make it work." Lu Chen said with a confident expression. But then he said, "But the choice is yours."

Chu Jingyi thought about it and decided, "I don't want to do it."

"Senior," The two retorted at the same time!

"You two, be quiet." Lu Chen scowled at the two to shut up. He turned to Chu Jingyi, "Can you tell us why?"

"I don't want to challenge them, not yet. Junior Zhang is still in his infancy stage." Zhang Jian only produced one album. He was still a newcomer in the entertainment industry.

"I can wait. I don't want my personal feelings to hinder the agency and my junior's growth."
