A day at Hogwarts
Chapter 468 To pass the assessment
Charles was confused about the prophecy he had made up, but he couldn't tell who or what it was about, just like he didn't say anything.
The excitement in the Gryffindor common room dispersed, and everyone returned to their dormitories, ending a day worth remembering for a long time.
Seamus had just put on his dressing gown when Charles returned to the dormitory and threw two rolls of parchment to him.
"What is this?" Seamus caught the parchment, "Is it a curse?"
Charles replied: "The assistant you choose needs my approval."
"There is only one criterion for whether I agree or not. Go to the place on the map and come back intact."
Seamus opened the parchment roll. One was Dumbledore's authorization letter, and the other was a map. It looked like a cave in the Forbidden Forest.
"Where is that place?" He was not familiar with the Forbidden Forest.
Charles replied: "A place where your skills can be tested, with life-threatening consequences."
Seamus said: "Since our lives are in danger, we still need to go."
Charles said: "When did you have the illusion that there would be no danger in the Triwizard Tournament?"
"The first two games are just warm-ups, and in the third game it's time for the Fire Dragon to appear."
Seamus asked him in surprise: "Do you know what the game is about?"
Charles shrugged and said, "Don't forget that my restaurant has business dealings with the dragon farm. It's easy to find out how many fire dragons Hogwarts has ordered and when they will be shipped."
"You don't think that's for a dinner party, do you?"
Seamus thought it made sense.
Charles put on his pajamas and said before going to bed: "You can arrange this matter yourself. I only see the results."
"Don't forget, the warrior is responsible for the safety of his assistants."
Seamus began to feel a lot of pressure on himself, and he couldn't sleep well all night.
Starting from the next morning, people kept asking him to introduce themselves, hoping to participate in the Triwizard Tournament as an assistant.
Not only sixth- and seventh-grade students, but also third-grade students came to him.
The first batch of Defense Against the Dark Arts class that day were the third-year Hufflepuff students. Rolf Scamander was waiting for Seamus at the door of the classroom.
"I heard you need a magical creature expert." Rolf said to Seamus excitedly, "Please believe me, I am definitely the best in Hogwarts!"
Then he whispered: "I often go to the Forbidden Forest to play, and those two Mr. Weasleys can vouch for me!"
Seamus told him: "The game is dangerous, you are only in your third year."
Rolf said confidently: "It doesn't matter. My grandfather foiled Grindelwald's plot many times back then. I'm no worse than him!"
Charles was speechless as he listened and almost called Grindelwald to have afternoon tea with him.
But the wizards just believed in me being a hero and a good guy. Seamo began to seriously consider it and added him as a friend using a communication notebook. We would talk about it later if anything happened.
After the Defense Against the Dark Arts class that day, Moody left Seamus behind.
Moody asked him, "Would you like to come to my place every night for some extra tutoring?"
Seamus immediately responded: “I’d love to be coached!”
Moody added: "I hope you will bring your assistants to assist you."
"Eight to eleven every night."
"I won't give you a note, but if anyone is caught by Filch, I will not recognize him as qualified to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, including you."
Seamus nodded immediately.
It's not a big deal to avoid Filch.
At lunch, Seamus told this story to Harry, Hermione, Fred and George, his initial choices for assistants.
"Digory had one more assistant in his squad than expected, so he invited one of us to come," Fred said.
Then George said gloomily: "But he also said that contestants under the age of seventeen must obtain Charles's consent."
Harry and Hermione didn't know about this yet, and they had strange expressions on their faces.
The two of them haven't had a good relationship with Charles recently, and they haven't spoken to each other for a while.
Seamus said: "Charles told me last night that this matter needs to pass a test in the Forbidden Forest."
"I want to discuss something with you, whether to invite Malfoy to participate."
The expressions of several other people became strange.
They were certainly unhappy, but among those relatively proficient in the dark arts, the other students were unfamiliar with it.
In the past two years, Malfoy has kept a low profile because his family has disappeared and he has no father to support him.
More importantly, he was psychologically shadowed by Charles, and he did not provoke Hermione very much, for fear that one day he would wake up and find himself in the lounge at the bottom of the lake.
Hermione was the first to frown and said: "If he is not so annoying during the game, for the glory of Hogwarts, it is not impossible to cooperate once."

Harry hesitated and struggled for a moment, then nodded.
Fred and George looked at each other. Although they had bought a lot of Slytherin books for the Weasley family, they didn't study many of them because there was no need for them. They could only nod along.
Ron stared from the sidelines.
He suddenly discovered that compared with his friends and brothers, he had no special skills at all.
During the lunch break after lunch, Seamus went to find Malfoy, and Charles experimented with rubies in the castle courtyard.
The mascot of the New Zealand Quidditch team, the Mottola Macaws, is a phoenix named Sparks. A while ago, the Daily Prophet's Overseas Interesting Stories section detailed a story about a team member giving Sparks a massage. After reading this, Charles Decided to give it a try.
Charles rubbed the place where Ruby's neck and back connected. The phoenix felt plump and good to the touch. It closed its eyes in comfort.
There were many first and second grade students watching nearby. They also wanted to try it.
Erica came over and imitated rubbing Ruby. She took the opportunity to whisper to Charles: "Come to my place tonight."
Charles nodded.
Gryffindor second-year girl Romilda Vane was watching Charles rubbing the phoenix nearby. She noticed that they were whispering to each other and asked, "What is your relationship?"
Erica looked at her with a smile, licked her lips and said, "You can come too."
Vane asked in surprise: "Are you really a vampire?"
Erica asked in confusion: "How do I not look like a vampire?"
Vane said a little embarrassedly: "Ah? I thought you were just...albino."
"Because I found that you are not afraid of garlic at all."
Erica had come to the Gryffindor table to eat many times before, and she enjoyed the garlic chicken wings very much.
She pouted and said, "Because British food is more terrible than garlic!"
The students around Hogwarts could not refute it.
At night, Charles came to Erica's residence.
Erica said to him, "Karkaroff asked me to ask you if there is a person named Steve Rogers in Hogwarts."
Charles shook his head and said, "I haven't heard of it, what's wrong?"
Erica said, "Karkaroff looks angry."
Charles wondered if there was something wrong with Crookshanks' hair and he was punished by Voldemort.
