A Failure's hopeful Journey

Lina was a girl who sat behind Fenny on the roof. She was also a sniper and covered her teammates, who guarded Fenny. She spoke to You Zhichi, "Zhichi, why are we asked to guard here? We are the strongest team in the academy. Is your brother looking down on us? We broke through to the core formation realm. We can also kill people."

Before You Zhichi could reply she heard Rafael speaking, "Lina, it is not that he underestimates us. The fact is, we cannot keep up with him."

Lina spoke, "What do you mean?"

Rafael said, "He saved three people while we were chatting and also killed one of the dark dwellers. He treats this battle as a practice method for the people."

Lina snorted and focus on her task, but she was unreconciled in her heart. She was about to talk to Fenny, but she just heard her guide people. Fenny spoke, "Sniper team two get ready, your team target is about to go for the kill. Disrupt him."

Lina shifted her attention to the ground below and located a team of two people attacking a dark dweller, but the dweller was like a sneaky worm and dodged every time. He was about to break away and counter the team of two men when a laser flashed. With a WENG the laser passed through the dweller's arm leaving a clean hole. The dweller descended into pain and rage. But the other teammates took care of it. You Tong, the leader of team two kicked the back of the dweller's neck, knocking him out. Two make sure this dark dweller does not make a move later they sealed this guy perfectly and moved on to help his teammates facing the other opponent.

These dark dwellers were as crude as it can be. They did not believe in strategy. They all loved the chaos and followed the way of chaos. They were sneaky little bitches. Always attacking when the opponent is the least ready for them. Do anything to get their goal. Their teams had teamwork existing just in name. That is why they were successfully divided by You Family troops.

The young core formation realm disciples of the family adapted quickly and took on the role of support. The difference between a major realm was something the dark dwellers could not deal with. So they were suppressed by the spiritual formation realm boys and girls collectively, and whenever they had they found the opportunity to counter-attack they were forced by the core formation realm individuals. 

The scale tipped in the favor of You Family. You Xi Wang nodded in satisfaction. Lina who was keenly monitoring the situation was shocked by this. She could not help but ask, "How come I feel that these guys are gaining experience at a frightening pace, and also, how did the core formation warriors dropped back from the front and became support?"

Fenny on her side chuckled and said, "Maestro is playing chess, Senior sister Lina. This was the strategy You Xi Wang came up with. Use the artillery to allow the infantry to have enough time to adapt, then the infantry advances while the artillery support it. The core formation is the artillery, while the spiritual formation is the infantry. Do you now understand? You have no idea how deep the mind behind this pretty face is."

Lina was left in a stupor. The dark dwellers observing from the shadows were also surprised, they ordered the core formation realm practitioners to advance and deal with the forces of You Family. You Xi Wang sensed this movement of theirs and spoke in the comms, "First grandma, you are on."

She was addressed as the first grandma by every young grandchild of hers, even her own grandchildren would call her first grandma. She was in charge of the Elite core formation team of the family. This team contained people who were at least mid-level core formation. These guys were also hidden by both the stealth suit and soul energy from the elders and the three ladies. 

The Dark Dwellers of the primal soul realm also felt some faint soul energies lingering in the mansion, but they just sneered at them. They were all at the peak of the realm and were not afraid of some newbie primal soul cultivators. They commanded their subordinates to advance. 

The core formation realm Dark Dwellers rushed towards the mansion quickly. They all loved killing people. They were all looking at the young generation of You family as if roasted chicken. But their drool was sent back to their filthy stomachs by the You family snipers. The bullets and lasers whizzed past them, leaving wounds. This time the guns were wielded by core formation cultivators. In metropia the same weapon used by a higher level cultivator would produce a higher damage effect to that of a lower-level person. 

A core formation-level cultivator can blast up an enemy in the same realm, but a spirit formation realm cultivator cannot do that. The secret lies in the difference in the quality of the spiritual energy transferred through the weapon. This wave of shots left some core formations to be wounded badly, but it was nothing that a healing pill can not fix. 

One man was standing ten meters away from Xia Xue he took a healing pill and recovered from a wound that left a hole in his torso. He grinned sinisterly and rushed towards Xia Xue. The lady saw this, but she stood there unmoved, and just as the man took a step in her range all he saw was a bright orange-red rope latching itself to his neck. Before the pain could register, his head was cut off from his body. The flesh was cut clean by the fire whip as if a hot knife passing through butter. The rest of the people in the You Family team were in high spirits and met with the dark dwellers with much confidence.

One of the Dark Dwellers was fighting with You Shan Wang's mother, Jiang Carol. He used a smoke bomb suddenly and snuck behind her. He wanted to knock her down and take her hostage. He saw a woman in front of him. He took out a knife from his sleeve and quickly put the blade on the woman's nape before speaking, "Stop, I have taken this woman under control. If you dare attack, I will rip off her clothes." 

The others stopped attacking. The man thought that he won this battle slowly everyone in the family was beaten to death by his brothers and they were about to ravage the women when he felt a sharp pain in his throat. He shook his head but was shocked to see that he was standing behind the woman, but half of his throat was missing. He was bewildered by this and even forgot to use a healing pill for a moment. This moment of distraction cost him his life. Jiang Carol turned around and stabbed him between his brows with her long sword. When this man snuck behind her, she felt like she was about to die, but she saw Maya jumped and ripping off this man's throat. She understood that it was Maya who helped her finish this scum.

The battle raged on and slowly the You Family took the lead. The spirit formation cultivators finished the spirit formation dark dwellers and then supported the older people with the core formation realm people. The primal souls watching from the sides were very pissed at this situation and could not help but appear on the grounds.

A man with white hair stood in front of the three men. He emitted a heart freezing pressure, scaring the people to take a step back. He spoke in a threatening manner, "Surrender your weapons and I might spare you a full-body to keep after you die. Also, hand over your women, they will solve the problem of entertainment for my brothers."

You Xi Wang spoke, "Granny Xin this man, I want him to be a cripple." You Naixin heard this and immediately set her eyes on the man who spoke rubbish. She said, "Hey old maggot, come let's see if you have what to take us on."

She flew into the sky. The man also followed her actions and they both appeared in the void, and soon the situation was chaotic. They exchanged blows and soon all the elders also joined in to beat up the man. the man was not worried but what he did not expect was the ferociousness of these people. You family elders teamed up to fight against the three primal soul realm cultivators. But after the initial impression, the situation was in a stalemate. You Xi Wang spoke in his earpiece, "Aunt, Mother-in-law. Please help the elders."

The three women complied with the request and rushed out immediately. The three men who thought they could suppress these elders were confused and frowned. The leader spoke again, "You sneaky bastards, how dare you hide such powerful masters."

Nobody replied but You Xi Wang spoke, "Old bitches, did you think that scum like you can stand against my family?" he paused and spoke, "Oye, you, hidden rat come on out and let the world see what kind of trash you are."

His words were right there was one more primal soul cultivator, who was hidden in the shadows. This person attacked when he heard You Xi Wang taunting him. You Xi Wang vanished and avoided the old man's attacks.

He laughed and said, "Come, is that all?"

You Xi Wang also thought about this and said, "I'll show you a thing or two. How about you face my team?"

The man in the black robe sneered and said, "One little puppy or more little puppies makes no difference. I will play with you."

You Xi Wang grinned and whistled. In five seconds, Neo, Allan, Yuki arrived next to him. While Fenny could be seen walking leisurely. You Xi Wang face-palmed and said, "Big momma, this shit is serious."

Fenny spoke, "It's okay. I am here now, am I not?"

You Xi Wang looked at her with cold eyes, Fenny shivered and hurriedly ran to the team and stood behind Allan. She was afraid of You Xi Wang getting angry. The boy then faced the black-robed man and said, "Let's dance."

The man vanished from his spot, and so did the phantoms. They all used the spirit beast skills they shared with their companions. Also, the beasts stood away forming a pentagon. They all were hound beasts. If they did not move, then they will not be spotted. Their outer circle was to watch over the humans so they could inform them if the enemy approaches them from blind spots.
