A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang was resting on the back of a giant beast as the troupe moved forward. This beast was Tiberius. The wolf beast was five meters high with all his limbs on the ground. The back was big enough to accommodate two people. You Zhichi would usually just sit on the back. She was a maiden, how could she lay down in front of so many unknown people? 

Yuki and Gena had found a beast to share as well. Fenny and the sniper team were in the back and they also had beasts to ride. The pace of the people marching forward had enhanced. However, after one day, You Xi Wang gave out a demon order. The beasts were their companions and not pets. They must treat them with respect and honor. If anyone was found exploiting them he will be shedding a layer of skin in compensation.

The troops, who thought that these beasts were going to be their pets were tamed. Yes, he tamed the crooked branches and fixed them straight. You Zhichi would just observe the situation from the side and after ten days they all reached the dwarven kingdom. These three days long journeys had taken ten days because they traveled on the ground. Even if they could fly they were not allowed to. 

You Xi Wang was not as beastly as these people imagined him to be. The boy gave them a reason for his actions. he said If they waste all their energy to fly and they were all to waste energy in flying. What would be the result? Will they be able to fight with all their strength as soon as they reach the dwarven lands? 

Someone asked why was he riding on Tiberius. His actions looked hypocritical. The boy simply said with a cruel grin, because, I am strong and I can beat your asses alone. His words made the people angry and some went on to challenge him. The difference between them was so deep that they wanted to die of shame. 

The people all became disciplined after they heard this. The scout division sent back the message that they have arrived at the borders of the dwarven territory. You Xi Wang got off Tiberius and came to the forefront of the formation and his weapons appeared on his suit. The people all became alert. Their commander took out all his weapons in an instant, something they have never seen before.

However, six people knew better that this was a tactic to intimidate the dwarf leaders. You Zhichi and the phantoms also followed him along with Gena, Djal, and Alcalde. They reached the forefront and found that a welcoming delegation had already been waiting for them. 

Alcalde said, "They came here because they can detect the approach of our party. Allow me to talk and then we can enter the country."

You Xi Wang took down his mask and with an indifferent gaze, he nodded to the man. The dwarf leader was shaken from inside and then he quickly left with his people to address the delegation. The delegation was actually a battalion of mini soldiers dressed up in strong-looking metal armor and held axes, hammers, and blades in their hands. 

You Xi Wang figured out that it was the army of the dwarves. Do not look down on their sizes. Imagine a group of ants fighting against an elephant. You know the result. This was the same thing. You Xi Wang could take them down but there will be casualties. He was not going to stake the lives of his people. If the situation escalated then he would just take them on by himself. 

Alcalde walked over to the guard captain of the dwarves with his people and showed him a badge. He talked a few words and the guard's captain sent someone back inside the city. You Xi Wang used his soul force and paid attention to the situation. He said, "Fenny, deploy a drone." 

Fenny manipulated her gadgets and the next moment a fly-like tiny drone was deployed from her suit. The fly drone could fly up to a height of twenty feet. They made no sounds and had no aura so they were basically invisible. The drone slowly followed the guy sent back by the guard's captain. 

The drone displayed the whole city's layout to them. The city was actually inside a mountain. Yes, it was a monolith the dwarves had carved inside the mountain. They made the city illuminated by using mirror illumination. The sunlight fell on the mirrors at a certain angle and then it was all directly concentrated on the city after passing through an array of film. 

This array film was to keep the heat away. After all concentrated sunlight can make things burn. The guard came to the center of the city where a huge pillar was connected to the peak of the mountain. It was as if the pillar was supporting the mountain. You Xi wang nodded when he observed the architecture of the country. 

While the drone followed the guard it also transmitted the surrounding scenes. The people were together, however, they were not looking happy. The mood was tense. It could be that the terror they all faced from the tunnels. 

The dwarves were a smithing race. They never feared working their ass off but now that they had no work and were forced to be vacant they were stressed. The guard reached a palace built around the big pillar and smoothly entered the inner courtroom. 

He knelt in front of a burly figure. You Xi wang presumed that this guy was the king of the dwarves but his physique was no different than a body-building hunk. The drown was incapable of recording sounds and transmitting them as well. However, watching the video transmission the phantoms basically knew the content. 

The soldier was asking the king whether they should let the outlanders inside or not. The king said something very interesting that made the phantom smirk, "They want to help us? Humph, I want to see what they are made of first." 

You Xi Wang said, "This one is mine, I have not worked out in a long time." 

Yuki said, "Very well, don't scare the guy. God bless him."
