A Failure's hopeful Journey

After giving Jeremy a painful death, You Xi Wang and Allan left the basement. Under the leadership of Richard, they came to the VIP level of the pub. The area was decorated differently from what You Xi Wang expected it to be.

This was a private room, the right side of the room was a floor to ceiling glass wall providing the guests with the wholesome view of the dance floor, it turns out it was one-sided mirror glass. A mahogany chair and table set were placed in the room for the guest to be seated. A glass ball hung down from the ceiling, it cast off the reflection of the lights as it spun in its spot. Light music was being played in the room instead of high bass tracks.

The three of them took seats and Richard spoke first, "Well, brother Xi Wang, you scared a brawler like me down there." he gave off a wary smile.

You Xi Wang replied, "Brother Richard, what would you do to someone who killed your parents and have designs on your sister, also not to forget they are death sect scums, who go around killing people for selfish gains. I came to this town today and met two six-year-old kids who lost everything thanks to these worms."

Richard nodded and answered, "I agree, but those methods did not suit your looks, I was surprised when I saw an adorable, smiling guy killing off people like nothing." his words made a vein appear on You Xi Wang's forehead and Allan could not help but laugh.

Richard realized he had said something wrong. He scratched his bald head and You Xi Wang was about to say something when his Holo-phone vibrated and he found it was Yuki who called him.

He picked up the call and heard a cute voice from the other side, "Big brother, when will you be back, I don't like this big sister, she does not tell me any good stories."

"I will be there in a few minutes sweetie, you talk to big sister okay," he replied with a smile.

"Promise?" the girl asked, "Yes, promise," he replied.

The girl believed him and said, "Okay, big brother come back soon."

"Yes Celes, you be a good girl okay." with that You Xi Wang disconnected the call.

You Xi Wang turned his attention towards Richard and said, "Brother Richard, I will be honest with you, I can tell you are at least a man of principles, who knows what is right and what is wrong. The way you tackled those dark dwellers, that was a reason I befriended you."

Richard nodded and said, "I may not be a good man but I do things in a limit. I hate dark dwellers, they took away my everything and since then I have killed them every time I have a chance. I used to be a normal guy, wanting to be a council official, yet one fine night some mother-fucking dark dwellers raided the whole neighborhood, killed everyone, raped women, and enslaved children. The mafia at that time was a dark dweller, so they had strong support and link. I looked up to the council yet they had their hands tied as they did not have that many resources, so I joined the mafia and learned the trade, I used every mean possible, cheating, deceit, framing and even backstabbing my so-called brothers in arms. In one year I climbed up the ranks and became the right-hand man of the then mafia lord."

He took a deep breath and said, "I killed him in his sleep, I paid an escort who trained in charm skills and you can imagine the rest. It took me fifty years to create all this. The boys now are unlike those old ones, they may look like goons but they all suffered somehow at the hands of the dark dwellers, every one of them has voluntarily taken a heavenly oath. They are all loyal men who shed blood, sweat, and tears to come so far."

You Xi Wang was silent as he listened to Richard and said, "So, this is the story behind the Kingpin of Sahasa town."

"Ha hahaha... you are the first one who gave me a name like that brother Xi Wang. Well, it has a nice ring to it. The Kingpin. I like it." Richard laughed and accepted this moniker, he turned to his boys and said, "Guys, starting today spread the word that I am now called The Kingpin."

The guys laughed as well, still, they spread the word to their contacts. Richard then took out a brocade box from his storage device and handed it to You Xi Wang and said, "This box contains the badges lower only to me in the mafia, you can use it to ask for help in Sahasa town. You will be treated like my brother and your close ones will be my friends too."

You Xi Wang accepted the box and kept it, then he gave Richard a coin with You family crest engraved on it and he said, "This is my family crest, show it to the guard on the gate and they will lead you to the highest designated person in the family."

Richard kept it and nodded, "Thank you, would you like to join me for a drink or two?" he offered.

You Xi Wang shook his head and denied him politely with we are both underage excuse. They chatted a little and then as the two boys left the pub, Richard escorted them personally to the Inn. They said exchanged their call signs and bade farewell to each other.

You Xi Wang entered the inn and dropped Allan to his room, he wanted to explain something but Allan said, "Bro, I know why you did what you did, do not worry I will not judge you as an adorable guy killing someone... hahaha." he laughed and You Xi Wang turned, leaving for his room not bothering with him anymore.

You Xi Wang knocked on the door to his room, just in a breath the door opened and an adorable Celestia smiled at him, "Big brother you are late." she pouted after complaining.

"Hahaha, it has only been fifteen minutes Celes." he bent down and picked her up in his arms.

"Were you a good girl?" he asked the little fairy affectionately.

She excitedly nodded her head, "Yes, I became friends with big sister Yuki."

"Very good, now I will tell Celes about a story and then you go to bed. It is late already, you know," You Xi Wang spoke to the girl affectionately.

He told her about Richard and his story. Soon the girl drifted to the dreamland in his arms. He put her to bed and Yuki who was waiting at a side silently spoke as she walked towards him, "You are good at babysitting."

You Xi Wang hugged her slender waist, dragged her close, and said, "Yes, do you want to have babies of our own?"

Yuki blushed but just as she was about to look away, You Xi Wang stole her lips, her eyes went wide and she flayed her arms but You Xi Wang did not let go. After his constant attacks, she responded. They stopped after sometimes, Yuki was panting and a blush covered her face. Rescuing the situation from turning awkward You Xi Wang hugged her and asked, "Sweetheart, how did she woke up?" the 'she' was obviously Celestia.

"Nightmare" Yuki replied in a small mosquito voice.

They hugged each other under the moonlight.
