A Failure's hopeful Journey

The group inside the cave fell down unconscious. After a few minutes, You Xi Wang entered the cave with Neo supporting him on the side. The one who snipped all of them with the tranquilizers was none other than You Xi Wang. Neo went back to the place he was laying to attack the group and brought him here. 

At this moment, You Xi Wang looked pale. His eyes were filled with vein patterns. The illusion Maya cast by borrowing his soul power was a combined result of her illusion and You Xi Wang's soul spell. These two were not so strong yet to cast something that big on their own. Maya, Luna, and Shroud came to their side as they watched the two boys entering the cave. You Xi Wang sat down on the ground and panted slightly.

He said, "Neo, first copy send the video from this girl's Holo-phone in the data-coin." Data coin worked just like any other external hard disk, but just like the advanced technology in Metropia this tiny non-significant-looking gadget also got a makeover and became 'tap and store'. 

The principle behind tap and store was simple, you select the file you want to copy and tap the coin on the device the file is on and Tada it will suck the file off of that device and create a copy. The storage device looked like a coin. Easy to keep and easy to use. Neo nodded and acted swiftly. He controlled Lara's hand and operated her Holo-phone, and stored the video inside the data-coin. 

You Xi Wang observed the face of Ronald Colt and his gang. He stood up and placed his hand on their heads one after another, and with the help of his system, he imprinted them with seals. Except for Ronald Colt, none of these guys were dark dwellers and indulged in heinous activities for fun. 

This made You Xi Wang feel more irritated after discovering this. He manipulated their memories and made them forget about how they cut their dicks off. The system made seals in a way that as long as You Xi Wang focused his soul power, he will appear in the dreams of these people and issue commands and they will follow those commands with no complaints. 

It was just like a computer executing a program. Once launched the machine will follow the orders of the administrator and complete the task, but since these guys were humans, they came with some perks that machines did not have. After the sealing was complete You Xi Wang gestured Neo to help him get back to the hideout and he asked the pups to remove all their traces. These wolf pups were super smart and followed the order completely. They left without leaving a trace.

This whole event was successful because You Xi Wang used his utmost to exploit the loopholes in the Council systems. Otherwise, the tracking feature of the tokens was good enough to have them called in front of the council to answer why did they carry out such actions against their fellow students. 

Neo carried You Xi Wang, back to the hideout on his back and the pups followed. When they reached their hideout, Neo first entered and closed the cave entrance and sat You Xi Wang down. 

Yuki who was now feeling relieved walked up to him and asked with an anxious expression, "Xi Wang, what happened? Are you okay?"

You Xi Wang had a pale complexion and with a weak voice, he replied, " I cast a soul spell which left me exhausted. I will sleep for a bit. You guys will take care and be careful." with this said, he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. 

The system has notified him when he was casting the Soul-spell that even with Maya's support he will put a strain on his soul energy and will need to sleep for 24 hours, although unlike the last time when he forcefully used the same method, this time he used this method by his own will and Maya carried half of his burden. Since Maya was fifty percent creditor in this deed. She came over his chest and curled up in a ball to sleep and restore her health. 

You Xi Wang's body started emitting a golden hue just like last time. That meant his body will now be self cultivating. Maya who was laying over his chest also benefitted from this. The three others turned to Neo and asked him about what happened there. The latter could only describe the incident word to word how he witnessed it. 

He spoke with a sigh, "These people really did not want to live. If not, because this is a competition, Bro Wang would have killed them brutally. But right now they are more miserable."

Fenny spoke, "For real?"

Neo only nodded his head as he sat down on the ground. Allan spoke, "They had it coming. Xiao Wang will kill the entire world for his friends and family. We all know this, but we also know that Xiao Wang hates shady people too. So regardless of whoever it is, they will pay once he catches them."

Yuki nodded and changed the topic. 

"What do we do now? Today is the fifth day of the assessment, and I do not think our points are enough to get a high rank in the zone? Should we just stay here as Xi Wang needs rest?" this was her question.

Fenny shook her head, "We raid people. The time is short and many people have already been eliminated. We need to use this time and don't worry about Xi Wang. He will be fine."

Neo asked, "How do we approach this aim, then? Bro Wang is injured, this will affect our formations."

Fenny shook her head and said, "We have pups. We will cope up with it. Also, the method this time will be distractions. The pups will attack one guy in a pair and when the others try to support, another pair will counter. The third step will be us. An all-out attack. Let's go, we have little time."

The group started preparing and just as the evening arrived, the four humans and four wolf pups left the cave. They made sure that the cave is closed and secure. They erased all their traces. This location could be seen as the needle in the haystack now, and only the wolf pups with an extra keen smelling sense can backtrack here or a human with soul cultivation, that were hard to find, especially since the area had been cordoned off by the council.

While the Phantoms were raiding people with all their might and skills to ensure a good score. Inside the cave hideout where Ronald Colt and the others were lying unconscious, another team from Croma city academy arrived and when they looked at the scene in front of them they were flabbergasted. They quickly used the token to attract the invigilator's attention and sent the five people for medical treatments. 

In the medical science of Metropia, nothing is left uncured and chopped ding ding dongs were no exceptions either, the only drawback was they will be shorter and less sturdy after the procedure. There were some methods for the iron pillar to gain its former glory, but that will take a decade at the least, add or subtract two-three years.

Mirai no Kaiden, the edifice of The Mirai Group, top floor. Edward Colt was busy conducting a meeting of executives to counter against the products launched by Tianlong Group, suddenly received a phone call. He was irritated by this, he thought, 'Who dares to interrupt me.'

He lifted his hand and saw the caller ID belonged to the council medical services. He recalled his son was out for a school assessment and this made his heart trembled a bit. Thinking something happened to his son, he forgot his arrogance and picked up the call. 

"Am I talking to Mr. Colt? Father of student Ronald Colt?" the staff on the other side asked with a soft voice. 

Edward Colt felt his heart skip a beat, thinking his speculations come true. He forced himself to calm down and asked the staff in a calm voice, "Yes, it is Edward Colt. What happened to my son?"

The staff replied, "Your son has been afflicted by genital amputation. He was found unconscious with four of his team members in their cave hideout. You are requested to arrive at Flare City Hospital to complete some formalities, and we advise you to arrive as soon as possible." the call was disconnected after the staff finished speaking.

Edward Colt felt his world-shaking when he heard that his son suffered from Genital Amputation. He did not dare delay and left the conference hall directly without uttering a word to the executives. The meeting ended.

The moon was about to rise when the group made it's way back to the cave, Fenny and the others were extremely vigilant. After Neo manipulated the cliff wall, the team entered the cave and was shocked by the sight in front of their eyes.
