A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang was irritated and decided to give him a flavor of his own medicine this scum a lesson. Despite being fit, he complained of having a headache. The hospital staff led him to a room where a simple bed was arranged for patients to rest if their ailments are not serious. He wanted to see Edward Colt when his son acts against him.

You Xi Wang laid down and closed his eyes to focus on the seal he left inside Ronald Colt and his friend's soul sea. After a few breaths, he stabilized the connection between him and the soul slaves. He issued a command which they had to complete without fail. He would just have to sit down the lines. After issuing the command, he sat up and walked out of the ward, and head towards where the group was kept.

Inside the operation theatre, the doctors were done connecting the last neurons and were sealing the wound. The process was performed in a blink of an eye. The doctor asked the support staff to shift the patient in the ward for observation as they had to perform the same process on others too. You Xi Wang patiently waited outside the ward. Edward Colt who sat there spoke first. 

"Young Master You, what brings you here?" his tone was bland. 

You Xi Wang replied with a calm voice, "My friend is also injured. You should better focus on your own things."

Edward Colt raised his eyebrow and asked, "Oh, you have a friend in my son's team?"

You Xi Wang did not bother to reply but kept sitting there with his arms crossed, ignoring Edward Colt and his facial changes. Edward Colt was, after all, a cultivator of the primal soul realm, so of course, he was treated with respect everywhere he went. Even You Xi Wang's parents gave him face in public, but this kid totally ignored him, this was enough to piss him off.

Soon the four patients were sent inside the observation ward. The doctor came out and started talking about the health condition of the four and he left after that. Edward was about to enter the ward when the sound of hasty footsteps stopped him. He turned this left and at the end of the corridor stood three women and three men. These people were the parents of Jared Crow, Tom Benedict, and Chris Steiner. 

Alice Benedict, 46 years old, a charming woman with auburn hair and scarlet eyes. She was averagely pretty, beside her was her husband and father to Tom Benedict. Mr. Neil Shanon, 47 years old, the face was just an older version of his son but they had different qualities. The Benedict family was female-oriented. That explains why their son had his mother's name. 

They all came outside the room. They wanted to enter the room but the staff denied as the patients were unconscious and needed rest. They made some all talk with Edward Colt. Alice who was sitting in the back noticed You Xi Wang. She wanted to ask who this boy is, but her words were cut short when there was a loud cry from the inside of the ward where their sins were. They rushed in and found their sons bawling. 

You Xi Wang also followed but kept silent. The parents consoled their sons and asked why they were crying. The three boys pointed towards Ronald Colt and told their parents how he wanted to achieve great power and asked them to follow his way and that their strength will skyrocket. The price of strength was the sacrifice of their ding ding dongs. They all denied at first, and then Ronald convinced them that 'it' will grow back. Thus they cut it off for the sake of brotherhood.

The three families were shocked and looked towards Edward Colt. They wanted to curse him and retaliate, but Ronald woke up and started sobbing.

Edward Colt asked, "Ron, what happened to you, my son?"

Ronald replied, "Dad, I don't want to do this anymore. Please spare my friends. They might be naughty but we are all just teenagers, please spare them." his words confused the three families, and Alice Benedict stepped up. She grabbed Ronald by his collar and lifted him. 

She spoke with a commanding tone, "What do you mean? Speak clearly or you might as well don't speak at all."

Ronald Answered her with tears in his eyes, "I am guilty of deceiving my friends, Aunty. My father asked me to convenience them all for the fake sacrifice. This way he would play the fellow victim card and use you all to attack our savior here."

Darell Steiner asked him in a deep voice, "You mean to say that it was your father who wanted you to read our boys and make them cut off their genitals?"

Ronald spoke in a grieving tone, "Yes, Uncle Darell, he threatened to kill me if I failed the task. I am sorry. I beg you to save me, uncle, please. Save us all."

Elena Moore then said, "Edward Colt what was your motive behind this?"

Edward Colt was shocked at first and then calmed down as the thing progressed. Now that Elena asked him about this he said, "This is all a lie. I would never do that. Plus, do you not know how much I love my son."

The room descended into silence and just when they were all suspicious about the whole thing, You Xi Wang spoke, "Jared, I told you this in the beginning, right?"

His words attracted everyone's attention, and they saw this handsome teenager standing in the room and was talking to Jared Crow. Anthony Crow was also there, and he asked, "Boy, introduce yourself and tell us, What do you mean? But be sure you do not lie or I will make you regret ever being born."

You Xi Wang clasped his fist with his other hand and bowed down slightly without taking off his gaze away from Anthony Crow. The crow family, the Benedict family, and the Steiner family were all righteous families, and they supported The Council in fighting against the dark dwellers, it's just that their sons were badly influenced by Ronald Colt and Edward Colt.

You Xi Wang spoke with ease, "Sir, my name is You Xi Wang. Master of the You Family in Silica City. I met Jared when we were both playing a game on Metronet. After I got to know that he was coming for the assessment with his team I expressed that I want to meet him. Jared was also interested, but before the plan could be completed, he told me that Ronald wants to take them to a secret place for some strengthening ritual. I asked him to be careful, but he just said that Ronald was like a brother to him and things will be fine. Then after the examination, I heard this news, so I came here."

The three families were surprised to see that this young boy was the master of the You Family. They knew about You Family as Tianlong Technologies was a company they were familiar with. They also heard the news that the patriarch and the matriarch of the You Family passed away sometime back. 

Alice then asked You Xi Wang, "Why did you think something bad would happen?"

He smiled sadly and said, "The last person to meet my parents was this man Edward Colt, Ma'am. They visited him for a meeting and never came back to me. This was an accident, but I cannot get myself to trust this person."

"BOY, DON'T YOU SPOUT NONSENSE FROM THAT SHITTY MOUTH, DO YOU BELIEVE THAT I WILL TEAR IT APART?" Edward roared, he was afraid that You Xi Wang might enclose his secrets to these guys, and then everything will be over. 

You Xi Wang did not back off and calmly said, "Did I accuse you of something, Mr. Colt? Remember that the world might be afraid of you, but I am not. I only meant that I do not trust you. You are a bad omen for my family. Nothing more, nothing less. Try tearing off my mouth and see if the council will take action against you." 

This confidence in You Xi Wang's tone was something none of the elders expected from him, and this left a good impression on them. Anthony turned to Edward Colt and spoke, "Without fire, there is no smoke, Mr. Colt. You better act like an elder you are."

Ronald spoke, "I swear in the name of my blood that, whatever happened to us is because of my father, Edward Colt." his blood oath was enough evidence. This was a bypass that You Xi Wang came up with, whatever he did to these guys eventually started because of Edward Colt. The three families inside the room all now believed that it was Edward Colt's action to make his son commit such a deed. 

Ronald Colt again spoke, 'This man does not love me. He controls me. He wanted to acquire Tianlong Technologies but was unsuccessful and when he heard that You Xi Wang was coming to the same area, he made me do this if I cannot find him and kill him. This way he will play a victim card and get you all to attack against his family."

Edward was shocked pale by the words coming out of his son's mouth. Neil Shanon, who was quiet till now, asked, "Then why are you confessing now?"

Ronald sobbed and tears fell down his eyes, "Uncle, I cannot see my brothers like this. They all have saved me many times on our trips and examination. I truly realized how much they care about me when they did not hesitate to do this following my words. Please forgive me you all." he was a great actor and even bowed down to them from the bed. You Xi Wang never expected the soul seals to have this kind of effect.

Anthony turned to Edward and said, "You better get out of here, or I might lose my control. Also, I am backing off from investing in any projects of The Mirai group."

Alice Benedict and Darell Steiner also took similar decisions and backed out from being the investors of Mirai Group. You Xi Wang was thrilled to hear this, but he did not show it on his face. He turned to them all and said, "Sirs, Madam, I will take my leave, the airship will depart shortly, also please take care of them, and if you ever come to Silica City, I will be glad to play the host for you." he slightly bowed and left the room. He left a good impression on the six people. A sincere junior respecting his seniors and also did not take initiative to make friends with them by calling them, uncle or aunty. 

You Xi Wang scored a big win this time and was ecstatic. 

[Master.] the system's voice rang in his ears.

'Yes.' he asked.

[You are such a cunning bitch, hahaha...] the system complimented You Xi Wang in a vulgar manner but this brought a satisfied smile on You Xi Wang's face.
