You Xi Wag ran straight to the Technique Pavillion library. While he was on the way he was thinking about what kind of skill to choose but after contemplating that he was still in the initial stages and was unaware about how to select skills, he asked his system.

'System.' he transmitted his thought to the system.

[Yes, Master.] the system replied to him in an instant.

'Can you tell me what kind of skill and weapon should I choose? I am confused with there being too many aspects I can improve about myself.' You Xi Wang asked earnestly.

[The answer is one movement skill. Your movement is your flaw, so correct it. As for a weapon, why not select a pair of brawler gloves? You already have Star Spear, Purgatory, and Comet longbow.]

You Xi Wang nodded after hearing the explanation. He came and stood in front of a pagoda-style building. This building had nine floors, each floor contained manuals for corresponding major realms of cultivation. You Xi Wang was in the Spirit refinement realm so he could collect 2nd level skill and weapon. You Xi Wang came in front of the entrance and saw two stone lions on each side of the gate. The light flashed over You Xi Wang and a mechanic sound rang out from the stone lion positioned on the left side of You Xi Wang.

"Student You Xi Wang, identity confirmed, allowed to go to the 2nd floor of the cultivation library."

The stone lion on the right-hand side also issued a sound.

These stone lions were robots equipped with a scanner and arms strong enough to dispose of Nirvana realm cultivators if need be. The door of the building opened and just as You Xi Wang was walking in a figure walked out. This figure was none other than Snow. She saw You Xi Wang and smiled softly. The boy generously returned her gesture. Snow Wistrom gestured to him with her fingers that she will wait for him to come out. You Xi Wang nodded and entered the building. The door closed and Snow sat down on a bench near the building to wait for You Xi Wang to come out.

Inside the building, You Xi Wang went straight to the second floor. There was a table set up, and a boy was sitting there arranging the jade slips and scrolls. You Xi Wang approached the boy and said, "Good morning to you, senior brother. My name is You Xi Wang, a student of Class 1A. I have been allowed to select one skill and one weapon floor the 2nd floor."

The boy on the table looked up and saw You Xi Wang looking at him calmly. He nodded and checked the computer in front of him to see whether You Xi Wang's claim was true or not. The verification came out positively and the boy spoke, "You can first pick up a technical skill and then after you have decided which one do you want. You come back here, okay?"

You Xi Wang nodded made his way over to the movement skill section. Although he had the memories from the previous body owner, the extent of skills and knowledge stored in this place still blew his mind away. He was surprised to see that people in this world used every kind of weapon. The shelves were all labeled. Javelin, Spear, Lance, Pike, Halberd, Long Sword, Katana, Soft Sword, Short Sword, Dual Sword, Knife, Dagger, Needle, Bow, Gun, Whip, Rifle, Grenades, Mace, Hammer, Axe, Dual Hand Axe, etc; many more. These were all weapon skills. There was a separate section for movement, flight, offense, and defense techniques. 

You Xi Wang came straight to the movement section and looked at the variety of skills kept there. Lightning flash, Fire step, Willow walk, Phoenix flicker, Ascending roc, Tiger Stance, and many more. The list kept going and You Xi Wang kept moving. He was looking for a skill that can help him cover his spirit root. He came to the section for the wind spirit root and found some good ones.

Falling Leaf Levitation, Storm Step, Azure Shadow. He read then the description of the three-movement skills.

Falling leaf Levitation:

This skill is suitable to be cultivated by practitioners with wind spirit roots. The Falling Leaf Levitation skill when trained to initial success can help the practitioner glide at a height of twenty meters from the surface. This distance will improve ten folds every time the practitioner crosses one minor boundary. 

This skill would allow You Xi Wang to levitate but he was not in a hurry to fly like a bird. So he avoided it.

The Storm Step:

This skill is suitable for practitioners with a wind spirit root. Whenever a practitioner takes a step using this skill, a storm will be triggered. This storm will be upgraded two folds with each step. The highest realm is nine consecutive steps. NOTE: THE PRACTITIONERS PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS SKILL SHOULD BE PRACTICED IN ACCORDANCE TO THE CULTIVATION BASE OR THE STORM MIGHT TEAR APART THE PRACTITIONER ITSELF.

This skill made his face turn pale when he imagined taking the ninth step and triggering the storm he felt superb but when he saw the note, his spirit felt deflated.

Azure Shadow Step:

This skill is suitable for practitioners with a wind spiritual root. This skill will allow the practitioner to cast an afterimage with each step taken. The distance covered with each step will upgrade by ten folds. The first step will help the practitioner reach anywhere between one inch to fifty meters. This skill was developed by the four beast temple and is inspired by the azure dragon. The highest number of steps is 9. 

You Xi Wang liked this skill and with no hesitation, he learned this skill. He picked up the jade slip recording the skill and made his way over to the table where the senior in charge of issuing the slips was sitting and sorting the scrolls and books. You Xi Wang spoke, "Senior, I am done picking up a skill."

The boy lifted his head and took the skill jade slip. He typed on the computer and the slip was issued to You Xi Wang. There were copies of this slip, so it was not a problem for him to keep this slip. The boy looked at You Xi Wang and said, "Go select your weapon." 

You Xi Wang politely smiled and left to pick up a weapon. This was very easy as the weapons on this floor were similarly strong and it did not make any difference which one you select. You Xi Wang walked around and saw a shelf where gloves were kept. There were ten pairs of gloves and all of them looked very strong but there was not a single pair suitable for wind spirit root after all they preferred either sword or bows. Sometimes spears, but that is it. You Xi Wang wanted to lead but then he saw a pair of gloves which was labeled as, JADE HANDS. 

The description was. This pair of gloves are suitable for increasing strength only and is not meant for any element. These gloves can withstand an attack up to the peak of the Core Formation Realm.

You Xi Wang picked up the gloves and went back to the table to complete the process. After the stuff was issued, the senior unlocked the seal placed on his space ring and after storing in his new toys You Xi Wang left the pagoda. Maya, who was lying on his shoulder under the effect of invisibility stood up suddenly and growled. You Xi Wang followed his gaze and saw two guys pestering a girl who sat down there in silence.

You Xi Wang saw the bit and recognized him. This was the school prince of the previous generation. Before You Xi Wang joined the school, that is. Zack O'Neil. This guy claimed he liked his sister but was shot down by You Zhichi brutally. He was beaten in a dual fair and square. You Xi Wang used the invisible spell and walked close to the boy. Snow was keeping her head down until now, but after hearing this sentence she looked at the boy in front of him with disdain and disgust flashing in her eyes. Zack saw this and gritted his teeth. 

He spoke again, "Ok, I will not force you but I will conquer my Zhichi's heart. Humph" after snorting, he turned around and was scared to find You Xi Wang standing in front of him with a cold face.

Zack let out a chuckle and said, "My little brother-in..."

He was slapped in the face by You Xi Wang. The hand was so fast that he couldn't even react. He was a practitioner in the Early Core formation realm. This slap hurt his pride, and he suddenly felt enraged, but before he could speak any word, a white sheathed sword was placed on his throat. He looked up and found You Xi Wang's chilling gaze locked onto his face. His heart jumped up to his throat. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "Without the consent of my sister, you dare address her as yours. Should I lodge a complaint of you maligning my sister's reputation in the Council enforcement?"

Zack never thought this polite boy will become this domineering. He was scared if You Xi Wang logged his complaint then his life would be as good as over, but his pride did not let him say this. He gritted his teeth and said, "You Xi Wang, I challenge you for a life and death duel. Dare you to accept? I swear in the name of my blood that, if anything happened to me, then my family will not take any action against you or your family and friends."
