A Father's Duty

Noctis left the room after making sure that the kids were in deep sleep. He asked the system to monitor them and notify him should something happen to them.

He asked one of the maids about his mother's location but she shook her head as she didn't know. After knowing that she didn't know the answer, he immediately went towards the throne room since that was the only place where they could talk about serious matters. When he arrived at the throne room, he found out that they left to have some lunch and Noctis' goose hunt finally ended as he arrived at the kitchen.

When they saw Noctis arriving, Irene tried to stand up but Noctis teleported beside her and gently pushed her down back to her seat. He then leaned on the back of the chair as he looked over his trusted family members and a future family member, referring to Helen.

"So Irene have told you about it?" Noctis said as they nodded seriously.

"Good. Irene please." Noctis said and Irene knew what her husband is saying. She once again used her magic to scan the room. Noctis also asked the system to scan the room if there's someone eavesdropping on them. After confirming that there was no one, Noctis teleported them to the white space where there are plenty of doors surrounding them in different shapes and sizes.

"Where are we?" His father, Regis asked.

"I call this place Gateway of Worlds. There are still locked doors since I haven't been to that place yet. If there's a name on that door, that means I've been to that world." Noctis explained to them.

"You've only been to two worlds?" Hera asked as she looked over to the big door behind them with a label 'main world' in it. It would be awkward if they have read Fairy Tail World engraved in the door.

"Yes, one of them is a test while the other I tested alone." Noctis nodded as he didn't have time to explore worlds.

"So what's in them?" Hera asked calmly.

"Well the first one, I named Seven Deadly Sins, because of the posters my wife and I saw at that pub. As for Toriko world, its the name of a gluttonous individual who can eat sh*t tons of food as a snack, he's a friend I made in that world. That world is basically a gourmet world, a world where there are lots of undiscovered ingredients. There are many organizations in that place as well who are maintaining the peace of that world since a boom in raw resources would make the whole world fight for it." Noctis paused as he waited the words to sink in in their consciousness.

Hera's eyes brightened after hearing her son's description of that world. For someone who spearheaded the direction of the cooking industry, this world is basically heaven for her.

"But make no mistake! Although it is the gourmet age, there are still dangers on that place. And when I meant dangers, I mean the real deal." Noctis said warning everyone but instead of taking him seriously, Regis and Hera smirked at his words.

"Son, you are too young to tell us about dangers. Your mother and I have travelled and experienced wars together so we know what we are getting into, besides your mother is already itching to capture those ingredients." Regis said which made Noctis frown.

"Although I agree that you can be strong in that world but... FENRIR!" Noctis shouted and with a wave of his hand, a portal appeared and the massive terrifying Fenrir appeared in the space.

"This guy, Fenrir, is an animal of Legends in that world, he's a pure battle wolf in blood. There's a certain battle wolf in that world that is much stronger than my buddy right here. Maybe he can win against its 2nd in command but he won't be able to win against Guinness." Noctis said while pointing his thumb to his back where Fenrir is sitting. Seeing Noctis' seriousness, Regis finally took his words seriously.

"You want to go with us buddy?" Noctis asked his pet who nudged its nose to Noctis.

"Don't be disappointed, bud. Guinness has been alive for a very very long time, he's one of the top of the food chain in that world. As for you and Helen, I believe Toriko's friend could help you out with those scars." Noctis said to Fenrir, Somnus, and Helen.

"By the way, those gourmet hunters that search for ingredients are known as Bishokuya. Every bishokuya has what you call a full course meal, it is what it is, Hors D'oeuvres, Soup, Fish Dish, Meat Dish, Main Course, Salad, Dessert, Drink. A bishokuya could also form a combo with a chef they could trust, well you have each other so I'm sure its easy for you to work together." Noctis said as Regis and Hera nodded.

"Well, I've spoiled too much. You can learn more by exploring the place... also your outfits... I'm afraid many will look at you weirdly." Noctis said and they looked at each other wondering what's the matter with their outfit.

"*Sigh* Forget it. At most you'll be considered cosplayers." Noctis said as he walked towards the door to Toriko World and they followed him. When he opened the door, the white light swallowed the entire group leaving the space behind.

When they returned to their senses, they were in a 'wasteland' with nothing on sight. Noctis then remembered that he left this world immediately after scanning the gt robo.

Noctis teleported the group back to his hotel room in Gourmet Hotel which Komatsu is the head chef.

The group were astonished after seeing the luxurious room. Specially Somnus who is a top class inventor. He kept asking Noctis about the things found in the room specially when he saw the TV.

Although they could send long distance messages, it is through the help of a medium who has related magic to deliver the message.

Seeing the TV showing the news made Somnus' hands to itch as if he wants to tear the TV down and examine every part of it. But before he could do so, Noctis pulled him and his father who was enjoying the soft bed to buy clothes for them first and left his mother, his future sister-in-law, and his wife to have some bonding with each other.
