After getting off the train, He Zheng felt uncomfortable all over. A van was parked near the exit of the railway station. A handsome-looking young man, at the sight of Li Zong and the others, hurriedly ran over and greeted them.

“Supt. Li, we’ve booked hotel rooms for you and retrieved all the surveillance video from Wang Dong’s ward in that psychiatric hospital. As for the couple of victimized college students’ bodies, their parents have claimed and taken them back. If you want to perform an examination, I’m afraid you’ll have to personally visit their homes. It’ll be a long journey.”

“That won’t be necessary. Where’s Zhao Fei?”

That youngster said, “Our chief is in the headquarter. He’s just signed a contract for another TV drama and is too busy to come here to meet you, but he said that he’d join you as soon as he got everything handled.”

He Zheng, Chen Qianlin and all the others pricked their ears. A contract for another TV drama? What was going on?

Chi Li’s eyes lit up.

“Okay,” Li Zong smiled and turned to look at those behind him. Employees of the Supernaturalism Management Bureau (SMB) were acting as usual, but the trainees, especially Chen Qianlin and He Zheng both of whom were from rich families, appeared to be in misery, as though itchy all over, bursting to rush to the hotel to bathe.

“You may go to your hotel rooms to have some rest now. We’ll wait until Zhao Fei is available to talk about our next move.”

Staff members hastily bobbed their heads and set off to lead the trainees to the hotel.

Li Zong failed to notice the disbelief on the faces of the trainees behind him.

“Zhao Fei? Group Leader Li, were you referring to THAT Zhao Fei?” Chi Li, open-mouthed, was pointing at a cutout of a man with dashing good looks placed at the front door of the hotel, her eyes full of incredulity, her voice tremulous.

Beaming broadly, Zu Zhichong gave a nod. “A pleasant surprise, isn’t it?”

“This is mind-blowing, okay?! The Special Action Group of Hang City–” Chi Li involuntarily raised her voice with astonishment, instantly attracting other’s attention. Zu Zhichong quickly clapped a hand over Chi Li’s mouth, calming her down.

“Keep it to yourself!”

Chi Li gave an obedient inclination of her head and with that Zu Zhichong released her. All the four trainees were somewhat amazed. None of them was from some rural backwater, so of course they’d heard of Zhao Fei the superstar before.

Wu Fangshuo’s and Jin Qianlai’s faces were full of surprise. He Zheng had also never expected that it’d really be Zhao Fei, the big star.

“Okay, that’s enough. Zu Zhichong, tell them their room numbers. All of you are to go to your rooms immediately and have some rest.”

After Li Zong gave the order, the trainees stopped the fuss and collected their thoughts, but they were still very excited.

Naturally, He Zheng and Li Zong shared a room. As He Zheng had hardly brought any baggage, Li Zong told him to go to the room first to rest, and then he himself went to buy daily necessities for him.

The superiority in Li Zong’s wealthy family was very obvious on this occasion. The couple of collateral branches of the Li family, with Li Tiangang’s assistance, had been doing well in their businesses. As all their start-up capital had been from Li Zong, they’d been regarding Li Zong as their most important clientele. Since Li Zong went on business trips very often, businesses of the Li family included hotels, garment, daily chemical products, etc. On Li Zong’s arrival at the hotel, somebody had informed the one in charge of the Li family’s businesses in this district of Hang City, who had immediately prepared some changes of clothes and shoes for Li Zong according to his sizes and preferences and had them delivered to the hotel front desk.

Li Zong declined the receptionist’s offer to have an attendant bring the clothes and shoes to his room, and took them himself.

Thanks to the thoughtfulness of the area manager, Li Zong was saved from having to go shopping himself.

Standing respectfully at the front door of the hotel was a man dressed like a butler. At the sight of Li Zong picking up the clothes and shoes, he made a slight bow and didn’t straighten himself to leave until Li Zong motioned for him to.

Seeing how considerate Li Zong’s family servant was, Zu Zhichong, who used to be a playboy, couldn’t help but ask enviously, “How rich is your family exactly, Chief? Is there a single city in this country that your family business relations don’t cover?”

“Infrastructure in Hang City is pretty good, so naturally the situation is different here.”

“I envy you.” Zu Zhichong blinked.

Li Zong flicked a glance at him and remarked casually, “If you could just curb your extravagant tastes for in-game items and stop making trouble so often, I’m sure Sect Leader Zu would be a lot less hard on you.”

These words struck home. Zu Zhichong, who was annoyed but didn’t dare say anything, grabbed his room key and stormed off.

Li Zong gave a chuckle. All their rooms were next to each other. Li Zong and He Zheng were in the first room around the corner with a king-size bed in it. The others were staying in standard double rooms.

When Li Zong entered, He Zheng had finished his shower a short while ago and was now lying prone on the bed playing a mobile game, legs splayed, oblivious of the water dripping down his hair.

An indulgent look flitted across the depths of Li Zong’s eyes. He took a towel and patted He Zheng’s shoulder. He Zheng tossed him a quick glance and then moved his eyes back to the phone screen, playing with gusto. Li Zong used the towel to help dry He Zheng’s dripping wet hair, He Zheng being fully relaxed.

After about half an hour, He Zheng finished the game, and Li Zong had managed to wipe his hair half-dry. He Zheng had been concentrating his attention on the mobile game and lost track of time. It was when he saw Li Zong put down his hand to massage his wrist that he frowned. Heart aching for him, touched, he said, “Next time I’ll just use a hairdryer.”

“Using hairdryer is bad for your hair.” Li Zong ran his long fingers through He Zheng’s hair. “I’m taking a shower. You may have some rest. I think Zhao Fei is finishing up.”

He Zheng put his cellphone down onto the nightstand, thought for a moment and then blinked slyly. “How about we shower together?”

Li Zong, unbuttoning his shirt, looked down at him, his face breaking into a smile.
