Chapter 88

The main house of the Shinomiya Family in Kyoto, Japan.

When Izumi and co enjoying the summer festival together, the head of the Shinomiya Family, Shinomiya Gan'an acquired a report about the incident where a young man taking his tool and its maid.

"Hee, maybe I could use this," Gan'an smirked and said after receiving the report. Suddenly, a shadow went inside the room which Gan'an in.

"Don't, you will just die pointlessly." A man calmly said. Hearing a voice other than himself, Gan'an looked at the source of the voice. In the corner of the room hidden by the shadow, stood a man. There isn't much that can be seen from the man as he was covered in a shadow.

But, the only thing Gan'an needs to recognize the man is his red eyes. It wasn't about the pupil that red, but only red can be seen all over his eyes.

"Master! Then, what should I do?" Gan'an promptly answered with a courteous tone.

"Nothing for now. It's not the time yet." The man shortly answered.

"Understood. If anything, Patience is one of my good qualities. Besides, it's not like I have a use for that tool of mine for now." Gan'an said with a polite tone.

"Good. Just don't do anything rash. You will be the ruler of Japan in the future." The man nodded and said.

"Thank you very much, Master." Gan'an bowed and said.

"Nn. Now, I can't stay here for too long as I still need to search for some piece." The man nodded and said. Then, he changed into a shadow and directly left without saying anything.

"Kitahara Izumi... You can be the ruler of Japan now. But, in the end, I will be the winner! HAHAHAHAHAH!" Gan'an went to the window and laughed crazily.

History Compilation Committee branch building in Izu, Japan.

Right now I was in one of the rooms at the History Compilation Committee building in Izu. I was sitting on the sofa with Natsuki beside me, and Kuro sits in front of us.

"Where did you find Kagemitsu Hazama, Kitahara-san?" Kuro curiously asked.

"He lives in China with his new wife." I casually answered.

"That man!" Kuro gritted his teeth and said in anger.

"Well, you can talk with him since I already brought him here," I added.

"Please... And thank you very much." Kuro lowered his head and said.

"Natsuki-chan, please tell them to bring him here," I said.

Hearing my instruction, Natsuki nodded and promptly called someone on the phone and ordered to bring Kagemitsu Hazama to here. And not long after that, someone knocked on the door.

"Excuse me, we brought the man as ordered, Natsuki-sama, Kitahara-sama." A man said from outside the door.

"Bring him in," Natsuki ordered.

"Understood." The man answered. Then the door opened revealing a man about 50 years old standing nervously at the doorway. Suddenly, Kuro stands up and rushed toward the man and punched him in the face.

Kagemitsu was thrown to the ground because of the punch from Kuro. The two men who bring Kagemitsu didn't do anything because neither Natsuki nor I ordered them to. They just silently watch the scene in front of them.

"Why did you abandon us, bastard?! Did you know mom died, and I was almost died if not because of Honma-sensei?" Kuro shouted furiously.

"Ugh...I just don't love your mom anymore." Kagemitsu groaned and said.

"You!" Kuro roared and was about to punch Kagemitsu again. I gestured the two men to stop Kuro and they promptly do as ordered.

"Release me! I will kill this man!" Kuro tried to break free as he roared. But it was futile since the two men who holding him were trained personally by the History Compilation Committee. Besides, Kuro right now was just a man who was blinded by anger.

"Stop it. Calm down and stand behind me. I want to ask something to that man before you punch him again." I casually said but with slightly raised my aura. Kuro, who sensed a danger from me, stopped trying to break free and silently went behind me while furiously looking at Kagemitsu.

"Bring him here and make him seiza on the floor." I ordered. The two men promptly bringing Kagemitsu, who didn't do anything and do as I ordered them to.

"Natsuki-chan, please tell us the information about this man." I said with a smile.

"Nn. Kagemitsu Hazama, an ex-doctor in New York Hospital where he met his late-wife Mio Hazama. He was also one of the doctors involved in an illegal project that using human to experiment. Then, he left the project after getting married with Mio Hazama.

When Kuro Hazama became 7 years old, the criminal organization that initiated the project invited him to re-join the project. But Kagemitsu refused and the criminal organization planted a bomb in the beach when his family was there.

As a result, Mio Hazama and Kuro Hazama got caught up by the explosion and casued Kuro Hazama and Mio Hazama to almost shreded almost to pieces. Jotaro Honma-sensei was the doctor who saved Kuro Hazama miraculously. Regrettably, Mio Hazama died after losing most of her organs.

Kagemitsu Hazama left his nearly died wife and son right after both of them carried to the hospital. He marries another woman named Renka Hazama and live in Hong Kong together with their daughter." Natsuki explained.

"H-how do you know about that?! Are you the person from organization?!" Kagemitsu asked in a terrified tone. Meanwhile, hearing the explanation from Natsuki, Kuro clenched his fist to hold his anger.

"Don't think too highly of yourself. We're here just because our lord wanted your son to be a chief doctor on his hospital." Natsuki answered in a cold tone.

"Now, talk about the reason you left your nearly died wife and son. But know this. Lying is not an option." I concentrated my aura to Kagemitsu a bit and said.

"U-understood! I left them. So, they would be safe from the organization..." Kagemitsu answered with his face paled and showing terrified expression.

After hearing the ridiculous answer, Kuro can't hold back his anger and taking a scalpel from his lab coat and about to kill Kagemitsu. But I stand up and hold his hand back.

"Stop, Kuro! Remember who save you and why do you admire him." I shouted right in front of his face. Suddenly, tears flowed from his eyes and the hand that holding a scalpel lowered. Meanwhile, Kagemitsu, who already resigned his fate, looked at Kuro in a guilt.

"It's Honma-sensei... He saved me even though the other doctor said they can't." Kuro cryingly answered.

"Then, why do you want to be a doctor?" I patted Kuro's back and asked.

"It's to save many people like what Honma-sensei did..." Kuro answered while tears uncontrollably flowing from his eyes.

"Good. At least you still remember why." I smilingly said to console the heartbroken Kuro.

"You are really idiot and coward." Natsuki shake her head and coldly said to Kagemitsu.

"Agreed. I don't understand how you can be a doctor when you're that foolish." I also shakes my head and said.

"At any rate, the organization that you're talking about was no more. Hope you don't regret your choice abandoning your wife and son" Natsuki sharply added. Kagemitsu lowered his head dejectedly after hearing our comment.

"Now, do you have something to say before we sent him back to China, Kuro?" I asked.

"I hate you to the point I want to kill you with my own hand. But, killing you means I will be the opposite of what I want to be. That's why I will let you off.

I hope you don't regret your choice as it is what made me wanted to become a doctor even more. And the last is, I hope I will never meet you again." Kuro sorrowfully said.

Kagemitsu didn't answer or should I say can't say anything after hearing Kuro heartfelt feeling. He only lowered his head with tears flowing from his eyes. It seems he just realized how foolish his decision is.

"Bring him to rest then escort him back to China." Natsuki ordered. Then the two men helped Kagemitsu to stand up and take him out of the room.

"…I'm very sorry, Kuro..." Before they went out of the room, Kagemitsu looked back and said.

"Well, you should rest for a bit, Kuro. We can talk tomorrow." I gently patted Kuro's back and said.

"Thank you very much, Kitahara-san. If you didn't stop me, I would surely lose myself." Kuro gratefully said.

"Hehe, a good boss will help his subordinate in a need, right?" I smilingly said.

"That's true… Now, please excuse me. I want to rest in my hotel. Once again, thank you very much Kitahara-san, Minamiya-san. I will be sure to come back here with a refreshed expression tomorrow." Kuro smiled and said.

"Ou, rest well okay. You need it." I said.

"Nn." Natsuki just nodded approvingly. Then Kuro left the room right away after lowering his head to say his goodbye.

"Well, since it was already at this time, I'm going back too. Oh right, don't forget about tomorrow." I said.

"Of course, we're going to a real-estate agent after talking with Hazama, right?" Natsuki asked to make sure.

"Yes, and we can go somewhere together after that." I smilingly said.

"Then, I'm looking forward for tomorrow." Natsuki gently smiled and said.

"Me too..." I said with a smile then I head back home after saying my goodbye to Natsuki.
